How to make petty cash account as a cash account

Dear Acumatica users and experts,

Is there any way to make petty cash account as a cash account. The reason I asked because I would like to ask the possibility to access petty cash as a cash account in Receivables Module. The person-in-charge responsible for petty cash but we would like to restrict him/her to use only receivable module

Dear @kandybeatty49

Thanks for your prompt reply. I think I figured out why I can’t set my petty cash account as a cash account.

In Cash Management Preferences, my petty cash account was set as Cash-In-Transit Account. So if I want to set my petty cash account as a cash account, I cannot use the same account as my Cash-In-Transit Account. Is it correct?

 

Kindly correct me if I’m wrong.

Yes, it can not be the Cash-In-Transit account.
