Full-text search warning will not clear

Hi all, I have a local instance set up for training (Build 24.112.0026), and I am seeing the following message on the Transactions and Profiles tab after performing a Universal Search: The search by a phrase or a list of keywords might not work because the Full-Text Search feature is not enabled. Contact an administrative user to enable the feature. I have run ‘Process All’ on the ‘Rebuild Full-Text Entity Index’ screen, and I have also tried the ‘Restart Full-Text Search’ option, but I am still seeing the warning. Anyone seen this before or know how to deal with it?

Removing "Create Payment" buttton

How can we remove the “Create Payment” button for Sales users while still allowing our users (Salespeople) to create pre-payments? Our goal is to allow prepayments, but prevent the team from using the standard payment processing flow. Thanks!

Automated Tenant Creation

Hello, I am attempting to automate the creation of Tenants on an on--premise server. I found a PowerShell script that looked promising, but it is using PX.Data.Tools.Dll that I can’t find installed anywhere, even with the developer Debugging Tools installed. Does anyone know if automated tenant creation is possible? Thanks, Mark

Adding Shipments (SO302000) to the Moblie App

I’m trying to add the shipment page to the mobile app, by using this guide: however these steps don’t seem to be working. When I try to manage workspaces, the customization project gets an error. Without it, Shipments doesn’t appear. How can I get Shipments onto the Mobile App? Current Mobile Application

Limiting employees to single branch

Hello, We currently have Acumatica set up as a single company with multiple branches. We are looking to limit certain employees to a singular branch. I’ve set it so when they log into their account, it is set to their branch but they can change it easily. I’d like to set it so once it is set to their branch, that’s their home. Please help. Brent

Customer Upgrade Pre/Post Check List

Hi All, I am just wondering if there is a resource/check-list out there for customers pre and post upgrade? For example, release all existing purchase returns, purchase receipts, related accounts payable bills and debit adjustments. Error Connecting after Upgrade from Acumatica 2022R1 to Acumatica 2023R2

Facing attached error after upgrading my enviroment from 2022R1 to 2023R2Database is MySQL 8.0, Windows 2019 server Standard Insufficient stack to continue executing the program safely. This can happen from having too many functions on the call stack or function on the stack using too much stack space. Any Help Appreciated

Approve Button on Notification Template to External Entity

Hello, Before I go down this path, I wanted to know if it would be a viable solution to add a button in an email to approve or reject a document based on selecting the link. I have been able to get an elementary version of this to work through sending certain text in an email for intake but the client wants to get more sophisticated with an actual actionable button. I believe this would be possible with some variation of the portal- they click the link, brings them to the portal, they can approve- but not all customers will have an access. So ultimately I need to be able to get a response back without the need to authenticate. Any input or experience on this topic would be greatly appreciated!

Email Attachment

Adding files attached in header files section of the particular order in the Purchase order email template automatically and option to remove before sending the emailfor eg the PO has two files attached, but when we get into the email template, we are again forced to add the two attachments along with the PO document which is redundant.Anyways it can be done.

Sales Order - Pickup Ready Notification

My business has some customers that come and pick up their orders. Shipping would like to automatically notify them once the order is picked and packed. Currently, we select Customer Pickup as ShipVia, it allocates, picks, packs, then sits in Shipping status until someone notifies Customer Service it is ready for pickup, then they contact the customer. Once the customer picks up the product it moves from Shipping to Completed - for inventory and order tracking purposes. I thought I just needed to create a conditional Automation Schedule based on Status and ShipVia for a Business Event for an Email Notification - (new type). It will not let me tie the Automation to the Business Event. I get this warning on the Automation Schedule, but as you can see my Business Event is set as active, and it is saved.

Email Security

Using 24R2. I have a purchasing group who emails their POs to vendors via a Purchasing email account in Acumatica. The purchasing group does not want the sales team to be able to open the purchasing emails. The sales uses a different email account to send sales related emails. The sales team does have view only access to vendor records. I’ve tried row level security to no avail. If I could control (automatically) access to attachments, that would work, but it seems the access permissions are propagating from the email activity screen. Ideas?

Upgrading from Retired Version to Current Version

Hi, We have an inherited client that is on 22.214 and needs to go to 24.210. I know there’s not a direct upgrade process and there will be a couple steps in between. I * think * the path is this: Current Version Build Update Intermediate Version Final Version 22.214.0019 22.223.0007 23.120.0004 24.210.0019 My questions are these: Do I create a sandbox for just the 24R2 version, or do we have to test in each? Does Acumatica process the upgrade sequentially in one evening, or will the client have to ‘live’ in each progressive version for a particular period of time? I haven’t processed an upgrade like this and want to be as efficient with the client as possible. Thanks!

Acumatica Support - Public IP Addresses / Ranges

Hi everyone, Frequently we have a need to collaborate with Acumatica Support on cases where they require access to our private cloud environment & subsequently our client sites. Does anyone know what the IP addresses (ranges) are that Acumatica Support uses so that we can lock it down on our firewalls? It poses a risk to our infrastructure to just allow access from everywhere. Best,

In Bills and adjustments, when an invoice is created and any supplier is selected, an item is automatically entered. What is desired is that a default item does not appear. Can you help me please?

Deactivate Company/Branch- Affects on Financial Reports in ARM (Past Years)

Good day, I have been deactivate one of Company/Branch in our tenant. (We don’t have any customizations.) I know I have uncheck the Warehouse first and the deactivate the company (which is set up with no branches). I am looking information on 1) how this will affect the Financial reports? Open documents? Open Payables? and AR Aging?, etc. The main goal is to strict users from entering new orders and transactions. I know management and financial reporting is my concern. I assume the consolidated reports will not work now for the old branch? Correct? How about Velixo? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Print job gets created twice

Hi lovely people, we use the Acumatica Device Hub to print shipping labels automatically from our ERP. Unfortunately I didn’t set it up myself, so I don’t know if some option is not set up correctly. The problem is, that the Print job get’s created twice most of the time, so the shipping label gets printed twice.
