I am testing Seasonality Replenishment The help is a bit vague - it says useed to reduce of increase repl qtyI am finding the factor shown below is reducing the repl qty Is this correct ?
When we try to export the line details from the Sales Order Entry screen we get an error: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. Is there a way to correct this?Thank you
Hello all,Is there something we can follow to mark contacts a primary for customers? Each customer has one contact & I’m looking to mark them as primary for all those customers. How can we do that?
What is the best source of documentation and training on setting up seasonality is replenishment ?Thank you
Anyone ever have a scenario on how to set a specific quantity limit in a warehouse location? For example this specific shelf can only hold up to a quantity of 5 items. There's nothing to set that as of now, you can set locations to have primary items...but no limits to the number of items a location can hold.
Hi,I need track the COGS and Sales for a specific customer . I was looking for a way to set up the COGS and sales account to be picked based on this specific customer. This seems not possible with the available options and I identified one issue which is if we have set up the posting class to pick the sales account by the inventory and also we have a different sales account in the customer’s GL accounts, the system always picks the account from the Inventory ID. How can I set the priority to pick the account entered in the customer rather than picking it from inventory ID?Further, I can check the sales for the specific customer in the sales account, since in the account details customer is available. I can filter and see. But in the COGS account, the business account is not available. I will be able to create a GI to connect and show the customer for COGS transactions but Do you see any other options to see the COGS for a specific customer?Thank You,Dulanjana
Dennis Henry, ControllerI recently migrated from Sage 500 To Acumatica and we installed the SalesOrderTypeDefaultReasonCode module from github. Adding default reason code by sales order enables you to set default sales and sub GLs when a reason code is for each sales order. For example all of our sales service reps orders use the CSRSO which sets a default sales gl account and default sales sub account to 40010 and 11 respectively.PROBLEM: Most sales orders with their associated reason codes work just fine. However in some instances the system appears to ignore the reason code defaults. And it most cases it completely ignores the reason codes’ sub defaults. See attached images 1-5. Any assistance would be appreciated. I created an issue on github weeks ago but no answer.Order Type = SO - SSR- Use Sales Account From: Reason Code- Combine Sales Sub. From: RRRRRRRRRR Reason Code = CSRS0- Usage: Sales- Sales Account: 40010 - Sales SSR- Sales Sub: 11 - Sales, SSRSales Order = SO0005296
We recently upgraded from 23R1 to 25R1. A sidepanel added in 24R1 is something we’ve been looking forward to--the new “Related Return Documents” in Sales Orders.Unfortunately only our Admin role seems to have access to the sidepanel. When I look at roles like our SO Clerk and drill down to Sales Orders, Sales Orders, Sales Order (where the sidepanel security lives), it shows that security is inherited. If I open a user in that role in the “Access Rights by User” screen and drill down, the specific security listed for that sidepanel is “Edit”. My guess is that either the change from implied Granted security (which was the way 23R1 worked) to Implied Revoked security is causing this, or there may be an actual “Related Return Documents” screen (like with the Stock Items sidepanels) that I need to grant access to. I’m hoping to grant everyone in the company access to this sidepanel--all of our users have at least View access to the Sales Orders screen.
I would like to grouped sales by parent/child in generic inquiry to use in a dashboard table. Can someone help with this?
Hi Team,ChatGPT said:I was working on an import scenario to create stock items and encountered the following error during processing:“Account 400100 is a control account for PO, and posting to it is prohibited. Please select a non-control account.”To resolve this, I updated the Chart of Accounts by adding the PO module for account 400100 and enabling Manual Entry. After making these changes, the import processed further but displayed the following warning:“Account 400100 is a control account for PO. Although posting to this account is allowed, we recommend that you select a non-control account.”I’ve attached a screenshot for reference.Could you please help me resolve this issue or suggest any configuration changes needed?
We are in the processe of implmentation and I am exploring the Blanket Sales Order functionality and have run into what I belive is an issue related to the “Requested On Date” on the Blanket Order Type. When creating a blanket order you can define the “Requested on Date” for the line item in the Details table (had to add this column), however when you go to Line Details, you can only define the “Sched Shipment Date” for each line, not the Requested On Date. Additionally I have discovered that when creating Child Orders from the Blanket order, the “Requested On Date” on the Child Sales Order defaults to the Current Date regardless of what is set on the Blanket Order. I have also observed that the “Scheduled Shipment Date” on the Child Sales Order defaults to the “Scheduled Ship Date” minus the defined number of Lead Time days set on the customer record, which is how I would expect it to behave. My conclusion is that setting the “Requested On Date” and “Scheduled Ship Date” in the
Is there a setting or other method to restrict item purchasing ONLY to vendors listed for an item AND marked as “active”? I’d like to be able to turn on/off the ability to use a vendor for specific parts. In this instance, we are creating the POs manually, not via automation. Currently, I can create a PO for any part and any vendor, which has led to some mistakes. Ideas?
We have a customer that prefers us to master pack--packing several small boxes into a single larger box--so they don’t receive so many individual packages. Here’s our current process:In Acumatica, we pack everything into small boxes (for example, a box with carton ID C01) and enter the contents and weight for each small box. We can usually fit about six C01 boxes into one larger box, a C08. We then move to ShipRush (third-party shipping software), where we enter the dimensions for the large/master box (the C08), generate the FedEx shipping labels, and manually add the master box with the tracking numbers back into the shipment in Acumatica. In Acumatica, we use a dummy Ship Via (ShipRush FedEx), instead of FedEx Ground, so it doesn’t automatically populate tracking numbers. This method works, but it feels clunky. My question:Is there a way to master pack directly in Acumatica without relying on ShipRush? For example: could we create a special carton ID (like “CIP”-carton inner pack) and h
We have run into an issue where our purchasing agent went to create a drop ship purchase order but only selected one of the two items needed for the order. Once realizing this they deleted the purchase order and unlinked it from the SO as prompted, but doing this causes the item attached to this deleted purchase order to no longer be listed when going to create a new purchase order. The item is still marked for PO as Drop-Ship in the Sales Order and doesn’t show it linked to any PO. I am unable to find a way to manually add these to a drop-ship order either.
Looking for a good solution to implement cross-docking processes in Acumatica. Basically, we pull inventory available to a “stage” or “picking” location for a SO then wait for other SO items to come in on a PO that should get cross-docked to shipping and get married with the “stagged” inventory quickly.
Client is going live over the weekend and we need to pull in the purchase order receipts for the goods received not invoiced report. Do we take the report from the legacy system and receive them into Acumatica and just do a manual reversal of the gl entries created? I do not see anything on this process when I search for it.
Hello everyone My company requires to open several shipments that have several lines (products) of one SO. Acumatica doesn’t allow you to have an open (unconfirmed) shipment add modify the sale order simultaneously. I need to create multiple open shipments at the same time. If you create one shipment it lock the SO and doesn’t allow you to create additional shipments without confirming them. Does anyone know how to unlock the SO?
Is there are report or GI in Acumatica where one can see a customers purchase history by item?
As a commercial importer of lighting products from all over the world, we also distribute in all of North America. In the past uploading Price lists and modifying our prices was once or twice a year during the beginning of the year. We only used to upload current inventory or requested inventory items into Acumatica. This was a 6 transaction event for each product due to currencies, landing factors, shipping and duties. However as we have grown we need to upload all our vendor price lists. This did not seem to be an issue: until the world changed this January and pricing needs to be updated monthly. I cannot express the frustration of having to update prices and as a result we are being choked and asked to upgrade to large enterprise level “no Limits” licenses. We are a small/medium size business and ave spent over 500k getting Acumatica to work for our business. I want to see if others are having the same issue, there should be allowed a scheduled server downtime to upload, update or
Hey there. I have a SO that had a drop ship item on it. Twice as much product was received via a purchase receipt. The PR was released but not billed. The customer has also not been invoiced for the “extra” product received. I saw some documentation on how to undo this if the product had been invoiced to the customer and billed by the vendor. Do I need to go thru that entire process even though the customer has not been invoiced for the additional product and the PR does not have an AP Bill?
Hello, We recently updated our module. When generating purchase orders the warehouse location is auto defaulting to the wrong location. how would i mass change this to the correct location? After reviewing Vendor profiles, we discovered the purchase settings for WAREHOUSE within the profile is blank. With that said we cannot figure out why it would default to the wrong location and why our data was deleted after the update. Not sure if we will have to change this for each individual vendor one at a time or if a mass data dump possible. thank you.
I am trying to add an Attribute that has a selector control type to an inventory ID. I set it up as follows: I then go to the inventory ID class and try to select it but it is not available: Observations:If I change the attribute type to anything other than selector, it becomes available in the Class ID Attribute screen. I tested the selector by creating a user ID field and adding the selector to a user defined field. It worked as expected. Is there a restriction or issue with adding a selector type field to to inventory class id?
Hello,We’ve created an automation and a business event so that when any Will Call (WC) sales order is ready for pickup, an email is sent to the Ship-To Contact email address. The issue is that our sales reps sometimes leave this field blank. We enter a large number of WC orders on a daily basis, and calling or manually emailing customers is very time-consuming. I’m looking for a way for the system to automatically send the email to the Sales Order contact (or the “Ordered By” contact) if the Ship-To Contact email field is empty. Is there a way to implement this?
Hi everyone,I’m wondering if Acumatica allows assigning a specific “From” email address based on the Order Type. For example: Sales Orders (SO) → send from sales@company.com Quotes (QT) or RMA (RM) orders → send from quote@company.com Is there a way to configure this directly in Email Accounts, Notification Templates, or perhaps through Automation Steps or Business Events? If anyone has implemented this (either through configuration or customization), I’d really appreciate some guidance or examples of how to set it up.Thanks in advance!
