Hello, we are in 2024R1, can anyone please suggest the best way to hide this side panel. We are able to hide the actions inside the side panel but not the entire panel.

You'll need to extend the workflow and remove these side panels from the Screen Configuration. If you need any assistance with extending the workflows, I'd be happy to help.
+12If this is from a Generic Inquiry screen, go to the actual generic inquiry (quickest way is under Customization > Edit Generic Inquiry)
Then, on the Generic Inquiry, update / remove the side panels you no longer want to use on the Navigation tab:
You may also need to update navigation items on the Results tab.

There is no out of the box option available to hide/ remove the default side panel.
You would need to explore customization to remove side panel from required screens.

We can hide the side panel by modifying the respective Action from Customization editor.
It is removing Side panels action But empty Panel is remains there.

For clarification: What needs to be customized is the corresponding workflow that is a graph extension(!) and not the Workflow seen in the Customization editor.
