I want to change the sort order when printing checks from RefNbr to Vendor AcctCD. In my override, I am adding one additional line to the select statement. I have a question about conflicting role access. as far as I can tell from reading in the forums it doesn't seem like there should be any access that is able to be conflicting as it should default to whatever role has more access. All of that being said we continually have issues Where our roles are conflicting with each other and the access that they have. has anyone else had this issue? like i said reading through the forums it doesn't seem like it should be an issue. but we’ve seen it time and time again when assigning roles.
The user wants to use an RC Sales Order to return an item from a customer into the user’s inventory. But it was a drop-ship originally from a vendor directly to the customer. So the original sales order was Mark for PO and linked to a Drop-ship PO from vendor to customer. Now, when processing the RC Sales Order to credit the customer and return the item to inventory, if they try to create a Receipt against the RC Sales Order, they get an error “Order RC R000xxx does not contain any items planned for receipt on date 05/29/2024”. The system also won’t let them uncheck the “Mark for PO” box on the detail line of the RC Sales Order. It seems like the only way to process the RC Sales Order is to create a Vendor Return, tell the system that the item is being shipped back to the vendor (which it actually isn’t), and create another PO and Receipt for the vendor and receive the item into inventory. Hi All, One of our clients has a requirement to have Prefixes to choose from or to type in that have independent Autonumbering Sequences behind it.I know we can handle part of it through Segmented Keys and Values, yet the Autonumbering is Global. Following a recent upgrade into V2023R2, it has been reported to me that the Tree Control available at the top of the Report Viewer form, for those reports created with the Acumatica Report Designer, no longer navigates to the first report page associated with a grouped entry selected from within the Tree, instead simply refreshing the display of the report and repositioning its currently displayed page back to page #1. After researching this further, it appears as though this is a consistent behavior across all of the Report Designer based reports within a given V2023R2 instance, and has continued to behave in this manner for those reports being ran within V2024R1 instances as well, including brand new “clean” installs.Has anyone else experienced this behavior with the Report Viewer Tree control after completing an upgrade into V2023R2 / V2024R1, or after having performed a brand new “clean” install using any of the builds available for this pair of major versions? Hi All - This is, I think, a simple question that I cannot find the solution to anywhere.I’ve attached a few files to an item that I would like to share with users outside of Acumatica. An example would be, attaching a stock item’s marketing flyer to it and having that link be in every email or invoice/packing slip generated. I’ve gone into the file, File Maintenance > Access Rights and checked “Is Public” and saved the changes, bit when I put the external link into an incognito window it still requires a login. Am I misunderstanding the functionality of the feature or does this simply not work as intended? I should add that I am on a hosted instance by Acumatica. Where I’ve selected Is Public

We are importing assets from existing software to MYOB Acumatica. Once converted, it recalculate the depreciation and some of the assets still carry the net book value even though the asset has fully depreciated.For example:This cash draw bough in Oct 2018 with the useful life of 5 years (20%).It should be fully deprecated in Oct 2023 (period 4-2024), however in this case this asset still has a net value of $18.98?
Hello all,We are new to Acumatica (Construction Edition). We are running 2023 R2. Does anyone have experience with processing joint checks in receivables? We are a subcontractor and the GC issued us a joint check to us and our vendor. We endorsed it and sent it to our vendor. Now we need to apply this to AR draw as well as AP bills. There doesn’t seem to be an easy (or any) way to do this. All we see for joint checks is to issue a joint check for an AP Bill. But we are looking for information on how to handle incoming joint checks. Any pointers are appreciated.
Hi All, I am trying to create a bill of lading. So I have created a report in which I have passed one parameter of customer_id which will be selected by user before running report. and i want that selected customer to be printed in report under shipment heading. When the Action Date for a Purchased Item is in the past (meaning Promise Date is less than today plus lead time), creating a Purchase Order from the Inventory Planning Display results in a PO with a line Promise Date equal to today plus the Item’s lead time. Is there a way to use the date from the requirement rather than pushing it out to full lead time? This doesn’t communicate to the Vendor that we would like the item sooner than their normal lead time if possible.

I’ve been learning how to create screens from scratch using the new UI framework, and so far I’ve created a simple maintenance screen and a basic Inquiry screen.The maintenance screen is working just fine and the Inquiry screen is also working as expected except for one peculiar issue that I need help with that doesn’t even seem related to the new UI.(I’m suspicious I may be overlooking something obvious, but the solution has eluded me!) I am aware that the new UI is not ready for production use - I’m just trying to learn what I can so I’m ready for it!The inquiry screen is built on a simple projection DAC and combines information from SOOrder, SOLine, and SOLineSplit.The header of the screen has 2 filter fields.Inquiry header filtersThe “Only Show Completed Lines” filter is working correctly and when selected, only lines with an order status of “Completed” are shown.The “Warehouse” filter returns 0 records when a filter value is entered. Hi All,We have observed issue on project billing screen with respect to tax calculation.Scenario:C90000 – Customer created with Avalara Tax Zone.C90010- Customer created with Manual Tax Zone. On Project Billing screen customer with Avalara Tax Zone , the tax calculation is zero always, and not calculating taxes from Avalara. When we use the Manual Tax Zone with Tax Schedule. the tax is calculated. Did anyone had this issue and what is the best option to solve, also if any later version which is available with the fix, please do suggest.
