I’m having trouble getting a field to show up as a Rich Text field in the Modern UI. Here is what I have: The answer still displays as a single-line textbox<template> <qp-fieldset id="Document_PXLayoutRule1_fs" view.bind="Document" wg-container="Document_form"> <field name="Question"></field> </qp-fieldset> <qp-fieldset id="Document_PXLayoutRule2_fs" view.bind="Document" wg-container="Document_form"> <field name="Answer" multi-line="true" rows="20" control="rich-text" style="height: 400px; width: 100%"></field> </qp-fieldset></template> An HTML box would work for me ever better…
Hello everyone, I am looking to change the UI availability for the editing of fields when a Sales Order is in shipping.I have moved the Credit Hold stage to the Shipment stage because of how our business processes work, we process and manufacture Sales Orders but do not ship until the leadership team is satisfied with payments. I am aware that I can make the fields editable through a RowSelected handler, however, would it be better to override the DisableWholeScreen method which is used in the SO workflow to make these fields editable.Another condition that needs to be satisfied is that the Qty on Shipments field cannot be higher than 0, for the fields to be editable, I am not sure if I can put a condition into a workflow .WithFieldAssignments method. Could someone advise on what the best way to go forward with this would be. Thanks,Aleks
Since LineNbr is no longer in the POFixedDemand DAC, does anyone have a BQL SELECT example for getting it from the recommended (dev release notes) CreatePOOrdersFromSODemandsExt graph extension? Here’s my current BQL:
I have added a custom field "UsrDefaultW" to the Users screen (SM201010) in Classic UI. The field is bound to the “UserList” view and located in the “User Information” container. My problem:In the official Modern UI source code of SM201010:- `UserList` is a view instance defined in the screen class (`createSingle(Users)`)- Only the `Users` class is exported, the `UserList` view is NOT exportedMy Ts and html extension files are attached. They can build, but no field show on screen. What is the correct way to add custom fields on SM201010 Modern UI?
I have a scenario where custom code is opening a dialog to ask a question when a field value changes on the screen. In classic UI, it uses a callback command to call an action (non-visible) that uses <View>.AskExt() to open the dialog, and pressing a button on the dialog calls back to the same method. Does anyone have a working example of this scenario in modern UI? @Yuriy Zaletskyy 's post here --> https://blog.zaletskyy.com/post/2026/01/20/how-to-create-a-popup-dialog-in-modern-ui seems promising, but it doesn't get me all the way there to get the dialog to open on field change. I think I'm at least missing how to specify the callback for the field without a FieldUpdated handler (which also won't work).
I made a custom DAC and I’m displaying it as a tab on the orders. I want to be able to edit that field when order is in complete status.I’ve achieved that for SO order type by extending the SO workflow to enable that field. It’s working fine but when I try the same logic for the RC order type - the field remains non editable and I’m not sure why. Here are the screenshots of the setup that’s working for SO but not RC:
I am currently developing Modern UI. After I edit a page each time, I need to publish the project to see the effect. If I find something wrong, I have to modify it and republish. My local computer configuration is quite good (I9 + 32GB), but I still feel that publishing every time is a waste of time. Is there a quick preview method available?
After upgrading from Acumatica 24R1 → 26R1, I’m now getting these errors when using POFixedDemand:The type name 'recordID' does not exist in the type 'POFixedDemand'The type name 'orderType' does not exist in the type 'POFixedDemand'The type name 'orderNbr' does not exist in the type 'POFixedDemand'The type name 'lineNbr' does not exist in the type 'POFixedDemand' I couldn’t find any mention of this in the developer release notes for 24R2 through 26R1. Does anyone know if the class was extended or where there fields went?
I have tried 20+ code variations and can’t seem to get this working. Scoured here, stackoverflow and everything else I can find over the last month without a solution. Some appeared to work in prior versions but not now. As the title says; would like these files attached to the email when it sends: Single code file I named POOrderEntry_Extension: using PX.Data;using PX.Objects.CR;using PX.Objects.PO;using System;using System.Collections;using System.Collections.Generic;using System.Linq;namespace Customizations{ [PXProtectedAccess] public abstract class POOrderEntry_Extension : PXGraphExtension<POOrderEntry> { [PXProtectedAccess] protected abstract IEnumerable Notification(PXAdapter adapter, string notificationCD); public delegate IEnumerable NotificationDelegate(PXAdapter adapter, string notificationCD); [PXOverride] public IEnumerable Notification(PXAdapter adapter, string notificationCD, NotificationDelegate baseMethod) {
Hi everyone,I'm looking for a way to have the side ribbon (side panel) open by default when a user navigates to a specific screen — and ideally with a specific icon/tab pre-selected.Context:Specific ScreenID (e.g. a custom or standard screen) Specific side panel icon should be expanded automatically on load Goal: avoid the user having to click the icon every timeAny pointers, code samples, or references to the framework API would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!Raphael
Hi All. I'm unable to add/delete Acumatica Customizations on 25R2 even though my user has the permissions and the access rights for the screen look correct. Am I missing something simple? Thank you,David Edmonsonvariux.com (aka ErpRescueTeam.com)
Hi team,When attempting to change the Site Map setting from Classic UI to Modern UI, the Graph Type field disappears. This is working properly in the Dev site, but the issue is occurring only in the Production siteCould you please suggest? Below are the screenshots for reference.Dev site: Production site:
I am working on a customization in Acumatica 2025 R2 using the Modern UI framework for the Sales Order screen (SO301000).I want to highlight the entire row in red whenever the CuryUnitPrice does not match my custom field UsrEDIPOPrice (which is defined in a SOLine extension).I have implemented a TypeScript file and an SCSS file. However, the row styling is not being applied. TypeScript Code (SO301000.ts) import { RowCssHandlerArgs, handleEvent, CustomEventType} from "client-controls";import "./SO301000_CYBEDIWebService.scss";export class SOOrderEntryExt { @handleEvent(CustomEventType.GetRowCss, { view: "Transactions" }) getTransactionsRowCss(args: RowCssHandlerArgs) { const row = args?.selector?.row; if (!row) return ""; // Unit Price const curyUnitPrice = row.CuryUnitPrice?.value; // 🔥 Equivalent of GetExtension<SOLineExt>() const usrEdiPoPrice = row?.extensions?.SOLineExt?.UsrEDIPOPrice?.value; // Apply red stylin
When upgrading from Acumatica 24R1 → 26R1, the CCProcessingCenterMaint.UpdateExpirationDate(PXAdapter adapter) is now missing in \App_Data\CodeRepository\PX.Objects\CA\CCProcessingCenterMaint.cs. I was overriding this method but was still using the base. Was this method moved somewhere else?
I’m planning to migrate custom screens to Modern UI in 2025R2 and want to confirm:Has the Modern UI architecture been finalized in 2025R2? Are there no major disruptive changes planned for 2026R1/R2? If I complete all Modern UI customizations in 2025R2, can I upgrade directly to 2026R2 later without needing to redo these customizations in 2026R1 first?
I’m now getting this compilation error:'SOShipmentEntry' does not contain a definition for 'OrderList' and no accessible extension method 'OrderList' accepting a first argument of type 'SOShipmentEntry' could be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?)So I noticed that it was moved to SOOrderExtension in 2025R2. However, the graph for this is incompatible with SOShipmentEntry:PX.Objects.SO.GraphExtensions.SOShipmentEntryExt.SOOrderExtension docgraph = PXGraph.CreateInstance<PX.Objects.SO.GraphExtensions.SOShipmentEntryExt.SOOrderExtension>();This is the compilation error that I get:The type 'PX.Objects.SO.GraphExtensions.SOShipmentEntryExt.SOOrderExtension' cannot be used as type parameter 'Graph' in the generic type or method 'PXGraph.CreateInstance<Graph>()'. There is no implicit reference conversion from 'PX.Objects.SO.GraphExtensions.SOShipmentEntryExt.SOOrderExtension' to 'PX.Data.PXGraph'.Question: how do I create an instance of PXGraph wit
How do i have to use PX.Data.XLSXReader to read a specific sheet of the XLSX-File?
Using an instance of 25.200.0020 (clean install), I need to customise screen AP303000 to add some fields (specifically AddressLine3), but on opening the Modern UI Editor from the Customization Project Editor for that screen, I get the error message: In HTML extension “C:\..\FrontendSources\screen\src\screens\AP303000\extensions\AP303000_PersonalDataPrivacy.html” for screen ‘AP303000’ child node ‘QP-FIELDSET’ has AFTER attribute with ‘#groupAccountAddress’ but screen HTML doesn’t contain any elements that satisfies such querySelector.I can work around this locally by renaming the source files AP303000_PersonalDataPrivacy.html and .ts (adding a suffix of .x). But I’m concerned that the same hack won’t be possible in production.
Hi Team,I am working on adding a custom tab to the Project Task screen in the modern UI. However, I am encountering an issue where the tab does not display correctly. When I click the arrow icon available on the screen, the custom tab appears as "undefined" instead of showing the expected content or label.I have already reviewed the related files and configuration, but I am unable to identify the root cause of the issue.Expected Behavior:The custom tab should display with the correct label and content when selected.Actual Behavior:The tab shows "undefined" when clicked.Could anyone please guide me on what might be causing this issue or how to resolve it?Thanks in advance. HTLM Code <qp-tab id="tabSubTasks" caption="SubTasks"> <qp-template id="tabSubTasks_TaskProperties_CstFormView2_div0" qp-collapsible=""> <qp-fieldset id="SubTasks_CstPXLayoutRule3_fs" slot="A" view.bind="SubTasks" wg-container="SubTasks_CstFormView
When doing stock take, I want to be able to see stock item’s Alternate ID, specifically for ‘OEM Part Numbers’ - I want the Alternate ID on Prepare Physical Count review, Physical Inventory Count and Physical Inventory Review screen. I note they are not a generic inquiry screens and thought this is possible via customizations?
Has updating system DLLs used by Acumatica and adding binding redirects been a problem for anyone? I’m considering updating and adding the following:<dependentAssembly> <assemblyIdentity name="Microsoft.Bcl.Memory" publicKeyToken="cc7b13ffcd2ddd51" culture="neutral" /> <bindingRedirect oldVersion="0.0.0.0-10.0.0.0" newVersion="10.0.0.0" /></dependentAssembly><dependentAssembly> <assemblyIdentity name="System.ClientModel" publicKeyToken="92742159e12e44c8"culture="neutral" /> <bindingRedirect oldVersion="0.0.0.0-1.4.0.0" newVersion="1.4.0.0" /></dependentAssembly><dependentAssembly> <assemblyIdentity name="Microsoft.Extensions.AI.Abstractions" publicKeyToken="31bf3856ad364e35" culture="neutral" /> <bindingRedirect oldVersion="0.0.0.0-10.0.0.0" newVersion="10.0.0.0" /></dependentAssembly><dependentAssembly> <assemblyIdentity name="Microsoft.Extensions.AI" publicKeyToken="31bf3856ad364e35" culture="ne
I have created a 25R2 Modern UI instance, added all 25R2-related dependencies into the automation framework, and created wrappers for CS201010 using 25R2 (ClassGenerator.exe.config). However, when I run the automation test script, the automation report shows errors, such as the “Add” button not being present, even though it is visible in the UI.
Why are some DLLs that are referenced by a DLL I’m creating not on the list when I attempt to add them to the customization? Others are there. System.ClientModel, for instance, doesn’t appear in the add files list, yet Markdig does. How does Acumatica decide which DLLs are in the Add Files list?DLL Solution:
Hi Everyone!I am in the process of pulling apart the Related Items functionality and putting it back together to try to understand some issues that we are having with the Related Items popup on sales orders. The first issue is that not all tabs are displaying on the Add Related Items popup on classic UI, but they do show up on Modern UI. However, even then, the data does not populate correctly. This may be due to a volume of data issue, which we should be able to fix with a custom override to force a refresh of the query cache. As a note, we anticipate having hundreds of related items for many of our most-sold items. The backend management of this is more my strength and has largely been implemented, but it doesn’t exactly help us if the users cannot access the data conveniently.Stranger still, after unpublishing all customizations on my local development instance, the Related Items functionality on Sales Orders does not function at all (see screenshots, if they manage to upload). Even w
I’ve created a very simple customization that simply attempts to populate a richtext box on a button click. The box renders as a white area without the richtext box header, which I’m fine with.I’m getting a “undefined: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'getvalue')” message as a popup. Others have had this in the past (question from two years ago is the same). I’ve tried the suggested solution without success. Here is my current ASPX code for the control... <pxa:PXRichTextEdit AllowImageEditor="False" AllowInsertParameter="False" AllowLinkEditor="False" AllowNull="True" Required="False" ID="CstPXTextEdit5" runat="server" Style="z-index: 113; border-width: 0px;" AllowAttached="true" AllowSearch="true" AllowLoadTemplate="false" AllowSourceMode="true" DataField="Answer" Width="800" Height="900"> <ContentStyle BorderStyle="None" ></ContentStyle> <AutoSize Enabled="True" ></AutoSize>
