I need to give a role access to add notes to invoices, but do nothing else, beyond view, regarding invoices.How do I do this?

hi! i have Client A who’s going through implementation and the first financial year starts on 1/1/2018 (monday) and Client B who’s financial year starts on 1/1/2021 (Friday).  i was referring to the info related to custom week config which led me to believe that it’s related to the financial year but that’s not consistent with what i’m seeing between the two clients:on the time and expense preference screen, Client A’s week setting has a start date of Monday and Client B has a start day of Sunday.  does anyone know what settings i need to change for the start day to change to Sunday for Client A without using the custom week configuration?  i thought this was related to the work calendar however, Client A has work calendars that have Sunday as a working day and Client B does not have sunday as a working day. also, i want to add that Client A has Acumatica Payroll and Client B does not

We currently have our live company tenant named “Company”, which I’ve never liked because it tends to confuse new users.  I was looking in to changing it to something users would recognize (like our company name, or Production, etc).On the Tenant screen SM203520, it appears possible to simply overwrite the Tenant Name and Login Name and click save.  Most other screens have an Title/Name change function, so I’m apprehensive to just change it without guidance.  If so, are there repercussions to doing so for any customizations, reports etc, or does it use the ID number and not the Tenant Name/Login Name?  Anyone have experience changing the Tenant Name/Login Name?

I’m having trouble getting external file storage to work when pointed to a Synology NAS.The NAS directory is mapped to the S:\ drive on my Acumatica server, and I am able to interact with it using my admin account. This is the same account I use when installing Acumatica. However, when I attempt to add either the S:\ drive or a C:\user\administrator\desktop directory as the external storage address, I get an invalid path error.This is not the case when I use a C:\ directory, so I assume it is user permissions related, but I do not know which user context Acumatica or IIS are running in to grant the needed permissions. Any input would be appreciated. 

Hello,I have just discovered that somewhere along the way I have removed access to the testing tenant for our company. We had been doing some work on security roles so I am assuming that the two are related. However, I am unsure how I can “re-enable” access to the testing tenant for myself (as admin). Any help would be great. Thank you,Brandon

I am trying to do a test upgrade from 2021 R2 to 2023 R1 on a local VM to test some customizations and I get this error:  I am using SQL Server Standard 2016 with the latest CU.Is there any way around this, or do we need to use an Enterprise Version of SQL locally now as well?I should add that when I click Ignore to all the error messages it does seem to finish, but I am not sure of the state of the data.  Does it just mean that I cannot use the new archive feature on my local test VM but everything else will work?

I would like the ability to use an expression when defining a Condition in an Approval Map. However, there is no functionality to do it, and often I must tell the customer, a customization will be required. Please add the ability to do an expression.

Good dayI have recently upgrade my client to 23R1( Build 23.105.0016)There is mobile customization to remove cases and a couple of other items from mobile.Before 23R1 if I removed the customization the screens will be added again to mobile.With 23R1 if I remove the customization the change made are still showing on mobile.After a little digging I found the Mobile workspaces screen(au220012)and saw, in the CRM workspace, that the cases and the other screen that don’t work are not in the list: i was expecting CR.30.60.PL (HubFolder) to be in here?Is there a way to add the missing HubFolders or reset/fix?

Hi,We have a client that is using Retainage for A/P. However, we have a VAT that calculates the tax. I configured a pending VAT. What is the best way to setup pending VAT so the current taxable due is recognized right away but the tax portion on the retainage is part of the pending VAT? Let me know. Hi Acumatica People,I am setting up a new environment and I did the following: -created a customer after I had set-up my customer classes-set up my reason codes-set up my warehouse with locations -created two items-Entered receipts (like this): -Entered the order: We haven’t changed any setting associated with Project (which is part of our planned implementation). This order is non-project order (identified in our settings as X).  I am presently going through the “Project Inventory Tracking: Implementation Checklist”. I’ve set field-level security to hide average and last cost on the stock item screen from certain roles.If there is a GI that shows average or last cost and the user with the certain restricted role has access to that GI, can they still see the average or last cost?I am presuming the answer is yes. I’m working through the setup of System Accounts in anticipation of leveraging the Incoming Mail Processing feature. I’ve encountered a few different issues over the course of setting up ~20 System Email Accounts that are connecting to our MS365/Azure tenant. For the most part, things are working as expected BUT there are a handful of accounts that continue to be problematic… During the automated processing of the emails, some accounts encounter the error “The mail receive has failed. Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation.” during the automated processing of the emails. As suggested by other threads within this community, I’ve opted to recreate the System Email Accounts and it’s associated External Application from scratch. A simple task is taking too long to figure out - we purchase pre-printed labels that we apply onto each box.  We don’t sell these labels but do have them include in our BOM’s since we apply a label onto each box of finished goods.  We purchase the label on a roll of 500 labels per roll and we apply 1 label per finished goods box.My Base Unit and Sales Unit is set to Label and my Purchase Unit is set to ROL500.  I have a Units of Measure conversion set as From Unit: ROL500, To Unit: LABEL, Multiply 500.To test the conversion, I perform an Inventory Transaction Adjustment where I add 2 ROL500 (1000 labels).  The unit price of $12.50per roll appears correctly and the Ext Cost is the price times 2.  I then release and see the 2 ROL500 added at the correct cost.When I go to the Inventory Summary screen, it shows that I have a quantity of 2, but the UOM is displayed as LABEL even though I added ROL500.  I want it to show ROL500 since that’s what we purchase.  The Inventory Valuation Report s
