I wanted to reset or re program the locations because we are no longer using bin locations, they informed me it was impossible to eliminate them completely so they were going to make them inactive, and add the new updated locations and make those active. But even after changing the location to ONE SPECIFIC on every stock item it is still showing this error. Also caused an error when creating sales orders, so now I have both the old location and new locations active.

I have some questions about the Assign function in Report Designer. You can see the documentation here, also pictured below:https://help-2021r2.acumatica.com/Help?ScreenId=ShowWiki&pageid=83fa0867-0eaa-4d93-9f9a-92c0f1b384d3 My questions:1. Is there a way to use Assign in a TextBox and return a result at the same time? I tried using a semicolon like this, but it didn’t work:=Assign('$MyVariable','some value');'Here is My Variable: '+$MyVariable2. In the Help pictured above, what is <nowiki> doing?

I am trying to use a pivot table to show the sum of sales of an inventory item over the last 365, or trailing 12 months. Acumaitca only gives me the option of using “@YearStart” and “@YearEnd”. I was wondering if there was a value I could type in from trailing 365 days today.

Hello,I am wanting to create a pdf form for AP Debit Adjustments. The business case is that when we have a Credit memo request from our Vendors, rather than waiting for the Vendor to create a Credit Memo on their end and send to us, I would like the ability to generate the a Debit Adjustment and print to PDF so I can send to the Vendor to initiate the request. I am told I have to create a form from scratch for this as out of the box there is not form for Debit Adjustments. How would I go about doing this and are there any best practices to help expedite the creating of this, ie copy AP Remit form etc… Thank you

Hello Everyone, We are creating customer and customer locations in acumatica through REST API and these APIs are working fine. But many of the customers has default location as a MAIN in acumatica and we want to change this default lcoation to other through customer or customer location API.  I have extended the customer end point and added “SET AS Default” Action to the API but this is not giving the correct result. We are not able to change the default location of the customer through API.  What changes are required in customer or customer location API, to make the required location as default instead of MAIN. Can anyone suggest the solution or any work around for this. Thanks in advance.

Dear all, somehow I suddenly get an error everytime when I try to save a new customer order…as a result of this error the whole customer order is gone...this is the message I get when clicking saving: “Error: Another process has added the 'PTSOOrderTextElements' record. Your changes will be lost." At the beginning it all worked fine. Then I tried to setup the product configurator...but I do not think that this might be the cause for this problem...Can anyone help?

Hi All, @Naveen B , is it possible to change from Diminishing Value to Straight Line Depreciation of an Asset?Case:  Office Equipment has a life of 10years.  First 4 years is Diminishing Value, followed by 6 last years as Straight Line.  Is this possible?  I have tried by running diminishing value first, then changing to SL however an adjustment is added to the start of the SL depreciation so it doesnt work. Regards,Laura

I have added a Parent/Child screen that both parent and child are Grid. When I select the Parent Grid row and insert rows to the child grid are parent/child fields are filled and saved in the child grid properly. However, when I switch from one row to another row in the parent grid, the child grid values are not refereshed. In both parent and child grid, SyncPosition=”True” and Navigate CommitChanges="True" are set to true. Even on the parent grid row selected events, I have add an event handler to referesh the child grid view using command “ApprovalRouteDefaultsView.View.RequestRefresh();” to refresh the Child Grid view but not sure what I missing that it doesnt work. When on the parent child grid I click on the “Refresh” button, it shows the correct data.

I need to be able to export a listing showing all vendors, along with their main address and tax registration and contact information.  Does anyone have a report created that I could upload, or give me some assistance on how to create that?  I am new to Acumatica and not very skilled at the report designer or generic inquiry, but have tinkered a bit with both.  Not very successfully!Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Struggling to find a way to link the  PX.Objects.PM.PMCommitment to the PX.Objects.PO.POOrder record in a GI or to show it during the PO entry screen.  User needs to see what the original amoount was separate from revised after change orders in the system.  That information seems to be in the PM Committment record but cant link it to the POOrder, any insights would be appreciated!

Hi, A client, at version 2020 R2, wants to eliminate the Email Invoice/Memo Action on the AR Invoices and Memos. I tried to set the Visible value to false on the Form specific option but that did not do anything. In 2021r2, I can do this fairly easily by selecting & setting the action to hidden. Is there anyway to eliminate this action without coding? Thanks,Bill

We’re finally starting to get a handle on Availability and Alloctions...I think We have a DEMO location with items we do not want included for normal Sales operations, but do occasionally ship to customers or distributors.  Unchecking the “Include in Qty. Available” is a necessity since we do not want these items to be considered as available for normal Sales Orders.  However, with “Sales Allowed” still checked, we can add the items from that location to a Sales Order, but we cannot create a Shipment. The documentation says this:Include in Qty. Available A check box that you select if the quantities of goods available at this location will be included in the quantities of available goods and used in shipments and transfers. Sales Allowed A check box that you select if only issues (direct inventory issues as well as the issues generated from sales orders) are allowed for the location. You clear the check box if no inventory transactions are allowed for this location, except for i

Can someone help to solve this problem? each item shows double on the order confirmation, see attachment.
