I am trying to make a generic inquiry to pull appointments that have inventory allocated to them. Does anyone know how to make this a generic inquiry?

How does one tie the Data Entry Settings to the specific Item Class (or to the items within the class) instead of by Production Order Type or as a general setting?  If the Default Order Type is tied to the Item Class, then most of the other Data Entry Settings can be tied to the Item Class by creating a separate Production Order Type for each Item Class, but I don’t know how to set that for an Item Class.

Please share your ideas on how to create a “broadcast” message to all users, or a means to put a notice on the screen when a user logs in.In other systems, this is helpful to advise when system maintenance is being scheduled or new features introduced.Thank you.

Hello,Our client needs to track the location and use of medical devices after they have been sold to their customer.  I was planning on using service orders to do this but there appear to be no place to record that an item of equipment has been moved from one location to the other.  These moves need to be tracked. Does anyone have any recommendations? Thanks James

how to get account name and account balance in Acoounts through rest Api

Hi everyone. Is it possible to import all my template items I created in sandbox acumatica to another acumatica? Thank you.

Hello,       I met a case, user miss put 66.2 cases line item on invoice, which should be 66.2 lb. The “real” shipment is 66.2 lb. And AR total is correct. So it is just system document typo error. Then I manually created a credit memo, which is to get 66.2 cases back(virtually) and issue 66.2 lb.       Then I found out the IN issues based on this credit memo is automatically released. However, the cost of the returned 66.2 cases is 0.      Which I’d like to be the same cost as the sold items. Such as $6 per cases.        It might be my mistake, that I just added the credit memo lines manually. I am not sure, if I used the “add return line” function, whether the cost would be input as I expected. But sometimes it is the quickest way to do it, and users are preferring using this way (add lines directly), because it is quick.         If I would like the customer return at original cost, what is the best way to do it?

The quantity open on PO per the inventory summary is overstated. One PO (PO001122) line is duplicated in the summary and the MRP detail inquiry, but is correct on the PO line inquiry and the actual PO. The promised date was changed for a couple items on this PO (supply chain issues) but only one line is being duplicated. We have run “Recalculate Inventory” and the error did not resolve. Also tried editing both the PO and the line but the duplicate is not clearing. Below are screen prints showing the discrepancy:We’re at a loss to figure out why this discrepancy occurred and how to resolve it. Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

When I reclassify the journal transaction, the line with zero cost did not appear. Can I confirm that for zero cost item, we are not able to reclassify to another account? Or what can I do instead? thank you

Hello,        I have a requirement to send a report to vendor in excel format using Email.I know this can be done by report designer and “report template”. But, right now, this report is simply wrote in GI. So I am asking is there a way to directly prepare this excel report and send by email.      I also know a way to prepare the excel report in automation by using export scenario, however, in this way, It seems I can just upload this prepared file using SFTP or FTP, while our vendor insisted receiving the report by email.      So can anybody help me?

What is the best way to reset admin’s password?  I cannot access one of our tenant for whatever the reason with admin log in.

Every Purchase Order requires a Vendor. Every Item has a Vendor attached to it. How do I tell a PO to only allow line items who are set for the vendor on the PO? Example: I am buying from Bob on a PO, but Acumatica lets me try to buy an item that is only sold by Frank. If a PO is for Bob, why can’t the item selector only show me items buyable from Bob? I don’t care about the things I can buy from Frank. This would also help ensure that the vendors are attached properly (like Bob sells Milk, but I don’t see Milk on my list, so I know something is off on the item). Hopefully this is a toggle somewhere I’m missing.

When I close out AP payments, that event is supposed to trigger the email remittance generation, it is not triggering an email generation for payments that have a debit adjustment applied to them (it works for invoices with credit adjustments applied though).  I can’t figure out what I am missing in my fields to get this to work. I have attached the business events screen to show the trigger conditions that I have set.

How can I modify the User Report or Create a GI to include Active Directory Roles by User? Currently only Roles for Native Users show up or Overridden Roles for Active Directory Users.

hi, have anyone face similar issue before? This issue happens randomly. The selected item in MRP Display is different from the create dialog box. If the planner have to process many items, it can easily lead to mistakes.

Hi all,Is it possible to only allow AP entries having transaction date/posting date within the same period? How can we achieve it? Please advise. Thank you for your assistance. Regards,Aaren

Hi all, I have a question and I will give you a scenario about our project: I would like to seek for your expertise and advise about my project - Gasoline Station with 3 Stores(1. Fuel,     2. Services/Repair    3. Mini grocery)  The customer's due from the 2 stores (Services / Repair and Grocery) were being paid in advance by the 3rd store (Fuel). Ex. I have a customer who purchased from the Grocery, and availed Fuel and Services / Repair as well, technically there were 3 invoices from my 3 stores. What I’m doing is that I will get a cash from my Fuel store and pay the due of that customer to my Grocery and Services / Repair. So I will close the invoices from the 2 stores by using the Mode of payment - Advances from Fuel. But I will still send Statement of Account to the customer showing his/her due from my 3 stores but the payment should go to Fuel alone since Fuel store already pay the customer balance from 3 stores in advance. This client will pay me in 30 days or so. Now the probl

Hi allI have setup the BOM same as provide in the Prodcut Configuration Pricing Example.https://help-2022r1.acumatica.com/Help?ScreenId=ShowWiki&pageid=e85d2759-5ecd-4830-b17a-39b7e4446e76 However when i test my configuration it is not correct. It looks like the Pricing on the children is multiplied by the number of operations on the BOM.  Not sure if this an product Issue or system configuration.

Hello,I’m currently trying to execute an action where when the button is pushed, it will look at the current employee selected on the service appointment, go to that employee (where the default workgroup id exists), and then once that record is found, I use the defaultworkgroupid to pass into a second pxselect to find all employees that share the same default workgroup. I then run the foreach loop to add them to the appointment. However, I am getting an error (see below) where the type is not correct. I have a feeling that I need to run a join on my select but I’m not entirely sure how to go about it.  { #region Views public PXSelect<EPEmployee, Where<EPEmployee.bAccountID, Equal<Current<FSAppointmentEmployee.employeeID>>>> EmpLead; #endregion #region Actions public PXAction<FSAppointmentEmployee> AddCrew; [PXButton(CommitChanges = true)] [PXUIField(DisplayName = "Add Crew", MapEnableRights = PXCacheRights

I have a custom table which I have made available to lookup in the Related Entities field on the Task screen CR306020. I followed the tip at this post https://www.acumatica.com/blog/extending-the-related-entity-dropdown/ and was able to get my custom table to show up in the Type drop down list.  The lookup on the Entity opens the correct window and I am able to select my record.  Great! Click the lookup on the field and select Opportunity For ImprovementClick the lookup on the Entity and select the record:Then,So far so good.  When I click OK, the field remains blank. If I save the record and go back to it, then click the lookup on the Related Entities field, it looks like the values are stored with the record as they are pre-populated on in the popup window, they just aren’t displaying on the screen. Also, if I click the Pencil icon, it opens my Opportunity for Improvement screen at the correct record.I’m thinking that there is some logic in the presentation layer that is not able to di

I’ve never done this...so probably a stupid question…On the Tasks screen, the customer wants to limit modifications to a task to the person who created the task, or someone in the Administrator role. What I’ve tried so far it is using the RowUpdating event to catch the update and cancel if not the owner or a user in the admin role.        protected void _(Events.RowUpdating<CRActivity> e)        {            var row = (CRActivity)e.Row;            var currentUser = CommonServiceLocator.ServiceLocator.Current.GetInstance<ICurrentUserInformationProvider>().GetUserId();            if (currentUser != row.CreatedByID)            {                var listOfRoles = ListRoleRight.GetRoleRightIdentifier(Roles.descr.IsEqual<"Administrator">, Base);                //if not in admin role, cancel update            }        } I was going to try to get a list of roles for the current user and see if it is an admin.  Poked around in Acumatica code to find where it might be done somewh

We have two attributes tied to configurations. We would like to display the value of the attribute in the invoiced line item inquiry. The inquiry is working except that there are two records generated for the invoice lines with configurations. I’ve tried various join types and can’t get the inquiry to return one record per invoiced line. Here are snips from the system:Production Order attributes tabConfiguration Entry attributes tabInquiry displaying multiple records for the invoiced line with each attribute separateGI tablesGI relations - configuration results attributesGI Results Grid with formula to display attribute CFGAPIIN as OPT1The inquiry returns the correct number of records if I deactivate the relation to AMConfigResultsAttribute and the related fields in the grid, so I’ve narrowed it down to that part of the inquiry. Any suggestions on how to eliminate the duplicates would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hey all,Our users have noticed that entering a partial serial number in the main search field doesn’t return an equipment record on the Transactions and Profiles tab, but entering the entire serial number will. The partial serial number can be searched on the Equipment screen no problem.Just wondering if there’s a config option or something to enable that in the main search? Thanks!
