Our users have noticed that entering a partial serial number in the main search field doesn’t return an equipment record on the Transactions and Profiles tab, but entering the entire serial number will. The partial serial number can be searched on the Equipment screen no problem.
Just wondering if there’s a config option or something to enable that in the main search?

I tested this in my local version and I get the same results that you do, it appears to be pulling the transaction for the equipment and not the menu item. This is standard out of the box functionality and I suspect this is a system limitation with equipment.
