Inventory Summary out of balance versus PO Lines

Forum|alt.badge.img+1

The quantity open on PO per the inventory summary is overstated. One PO (PO001122) line is duplicated in the summary and the MRP detail inquiry, but is correct on the PO line inquiry and the actual PO. The promised date was changed for a couple items on this PO (supply chain issues) but only one line is being duplicated.

We have run “Recalculate Inventory” and the error did not resolve. Also tried editing both the PO and the line but the duplicate is not clearing. Below are screen prints showing the discrepancy:

We’re at a loss to figure out why this discrepancy occurred and how to resolve it. Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

Acumatica support has moved this up to R&D level but have not resolved the issue. In the meantime, the VAR found that the PO line had a duplicate record in the INItemPlan table. It was the only duplicate record in the table, so this may have been a on time anomaly versus a bug but that’s for R&D to figure out.

Duplicate record in INItemPlan table

The VAR deleted the extra record, reran “Recalculate Inventory” and the Inventory Summary and Allocation Details are now correct.

Corrected Allocation Details

HI @alicezyks51

Has anything been changed on the availability calculation rules for this item?

No - we have not changed our Availability Calculation Rules since we went live in 2020 and the same rule is used for virtually all inventory items.

When you did Recalc. Inventory did you tick the Rebuild Item History box?

Looks like a data corruption otherwise - might need to report it to Acumatica.

Yes, I did tick the Rebuild Item History box.

I will forward to our VAR for submission to support. Thanks!

Is this the first time it has happened or is it a continuing error?

First and only time it happened to the best of our knowledge.
