Solved

EDITED for clarity.  I’m not having a problem.  Everything is OK!  😀  But perhaps my knowledge of Acumatica is deficient!I was wondering if anyone could shed light on this.  The sample data shows AACUSTOMER as a customer.  You can see this in the BAccount table as the type is “CU”.  Prior to 2021R2, there was no record in the Vendor table for this account.  Starting in 2021R2, this account is also showing in the Vendor table. There is a record in the Customer table (obviously)There is ALSO a record in the Vendor table: Is this an “anomaly” in the sample database, or is there some way in Acumatica that a customer can be added to the Vendor table even though the BAccount Type is “CU” and not “VC”?You cannot bring up AACUSTOMER in the Vendor screen even though there is a record in the Vendor table.  I’m sure it is because the Type in BAccount is “CU”.

Hi All, We are currently working with Related items for a few Customers and we run into some unexpected behavior (which could be intentional by Acumatica). Basically, when we add Items via Related items and save the Order, the Related Items feature is still indicating that Related items are available rather than disappearing or changing its state. I added Poweraid as a required related Cross-Sell Item for AALego500.Is this intended that the Related Items flag stays red for required? The confusion our Users run into is that multiple people can look at or touch the Order. When the order gets more complex, there is a loss in visibility if the Item has been added already or not. Any insight on this?We would just need to know at this point on how this is intended to work.

I use row level security for my inventory items to restrict sales people to work with items others than their workgroup.I would like to give them access to all inventory items in the purchasing module and only be restricted to the items out of their workgroup on the sales module.would anyone have a solution how this can be accomplished?

Hello, We've added our web service endpoint, generic inquiry and push notifications to our customization project. However, if we make a change to one of those items and save the change, the change isn't saved in the customization project and we see that the project’s "Last Modified On" date continues to show the date when the item was last added to the project. Is this the expected behavior? Our work-around is to remove the item from the customization project and then add it back in. Is there a better method? What steps should we follow to make sure the changes we make are actually saved to the Customization Project? Thanks, Dave

How can I add the PO # to the Bills and Adjustment generic inquiry screen?I added the related table APTRAN but then I had duplicate invoices. What would the proper “join” be to get this info?

Is it possible to downgrade the Acumatica instance? If not, then how can we upgrade the customization package from an older version to the newer one?

Hi,I have created a GI. Then I added a customized field to the results grid. It works perfectly. But after some time, that Line on the results grid was automatically deleted. I added again that line to the GI. But as earlier, it will get deleted after some time.  Is there a particular reason for that? ThanksRegards

Hi Team,Currently, I am testing AP Document Recognition. I need some clarifications regarding the PO invoice. Once the PO and Receipt are posted in the system. By using the Incoming Documents, I am pushing the invoice to the system. Here, my query is related to the inventory price update during the process. Awaiting for your replies.

Hi All,So I am currently adding a Custom Field onto the Stock item (Kitting Required is separate from any of the typical Kitting functionality in ACM).I am wondering if it is possible to access this on the Inventory Transfer transaction for example.Looking at the Inventory Item DAC it looks like it was added to the DAC, yet I am not sure on how to get this field (or any other field not available) to show here: This is where I would need it to get to actually use the value from the Inventory item correct?I am a little lost on how to let the Field show up in the Transaction Grid and bring over the value it has assigned on the Stock item.Any thoughts/ideas?

I have a sales team divided in workgroups, each group is responsible selling a different group of items, each group will process the sales orders for their products, and some groups might interact with same customers.I’m looking for a solution how I can restrict a workgroup to access sales orders from another workgroup, I’m using the row level security on the inventory items so they can only work with their own products, however they can still access existing documents in the system from another workgroup.Would anyone have a solution? So far the row level security can only restrict on vendors, customers, items, and GL but not on documents.

I’ve been evaluating Acumatica for several months using a local instance.  I tried to launch it today and it timed out saying the website was not available.  I tried launching it from the IIS Manager. It is in the default application pool. Trying to browse to the AcumaticaERP web site fails.  The application pool is running.  Perhaps a necessary service is not running on my computer, I’m not sure. So I thought maybe I should try to reinstall Acumatica from the beginning.  I downloaded AcumaticaERPInstall.msi and tried to run it, but I got an error that Acumatica ERP and Acumatica Tools cannot be installed on the same computer.  I have no idea what that means.UPDATE:  I was able to fix the installation by running the Windows Application in the Start menu called Acumatica ERP Configuration.

I have a custom table which is used for a selector on my extension of the PMTimeActivity graph. When you click the lookup, you can see there are two records to choose from:If you type “122”, you can see it finds the first record in the Plan Code field:If you type “es”, if highlights both of the records in the Description column:If you type “fs” I want it to show the first record in the selector as that has “FSDF” in the Alternate Plan Code column. These are the pertinent DAC fields for the custom table       #region PlanCD        [PXDBString(50, IsUnicode = true, IsKey = true, InputMask = ">aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa")]        [PXDBDefault]        [PXUIField(DisplayName = "Plan Code", Required = true)]        [PXCheckUnique(typeof(ICSPlan.planCD))]        public virtual string PlanCD { get; set; }        public abstract class planCD : PX.Data.BQL.BqlString.Field<planCD> { }        #endregion        #region LegacyPlanCD        [PXDBString(50, IsUnicode = t

My client is receiving the following error when trying to connect PowerBI from excel to Acumatica.  Can anyone provide feedback on what this means? The first issue was that credentials could not be authenticated but that was solved with adding @tenant after the username. The underlying GI’s are fairly basic and do not include any calculations….it is just GL data to begin.

We would like to map the Acumatica Entity Usage Type field in a Customer Profile to the analogous field in BigCommerce’s Customer table, so that we can set whether a customer is tax-exempt or taxable from Acumatica. We use Taxjar as our tax solution, and to set a customer as taxable such that the Tax integration between BigCommerce and Taxjar will work properly to recognize the tax status of a customer, we need to either leave the field blank or fill it with “TAXABLE”. Any value other than Taxable in the BigCommerce field will send a customer tax-exempt value when Bigcommerce does an API call to Taxjar for that customer. If we sync the field as it stands now, the value for taxable in Acumatica in the Entity Usage Type is “Default”, which if entered in the BigCommerce field will make that customer exempt (opposite of what we want). Is there a way to either update the pick-list for entity usage types in Aculatica to add “TAXABLE”, or for us to use some sort of substitution in the connecto

I have created a Generic Inquiry that will show the Date and Time that a Sales Order was printed.I am using the SOOrderShipment.CreatedDateTime field and the following code to extract the time.=IIF(HOUR([SOOrderShipment.CreatedDateTime])<=12,PADLEFT(CSTR(HOUR([SOOrderShipment.CreatedDateTime])),2,'0')+':'+PADLEFT(CSTR(MINUTE([SOOrderShipment.CreatedDateTime])),2,'0')+ ' AM',PADLEFT(CSTR(HOUR([SOOrderShipment.CreatedDateTime])-12),2,'0')+':'+PADLEFT(CSTR(MINUTE([SOOrderShipment.CreatedDateTime])),2,'0')+ ' PM')This works as it should other than it displays the Time as UTC time. I need it to display the time for our region. We are in the US Eastern time zone (-5 hours). Thank you for any assistance.

I realize expense claims cannot be deleted once released so how do I get rid of the claim that was put in incorrectly but not caught before claim was released. Tried making a negative receipt but that doesn’t work.

Is the HubSpot integration included with CRM or do I need to buy a separate integration piece?

I want to add a generic inquiry like the Commitment Inquiry in the Projects Workspace screen-ID PM306000.Do I need to create a customization project or I can achieve this by adding a normal generic inquiry from the screen SM208000.

Hi everyone, I have a cheque report that should combine the branch logo on the top and bottom as a regular logo and a branch logo as a watermark in the center. How can I fade out just one image?  I tried changing the "BackImage" field, but it doesn't seem to work. Thank you in advance
