When trying to enter a support case ,it is giving an error, requiring a case id.

Check your Customer Management Preferences (CR101000) to confirm there is a numbering sequence configured for cases.

Also, navigate to the Numbering Sequences (CS201010) screen to confirm that manual numbering is turned off.
