I can’t change my segmented key for my cost code because the default cost code is unable to be changed. When I click the Change ID button, I get:Error: The Change ID button is disabled. Then the button disappears. If I attempted to change the ID manually by clicking in the ID box, I get: PM Error: Cost code number cannot be updated directly. Use the Change ID action.I need to change this and I am completely not sure what to do here.

Is there a way to create some kind of alias/attribute/etc. to group certain subaccounts (which we use for departments) together, without fundamentally changing the naming/numbering convention of the subaccounts? For example,000000 Main; 000100 General Corporate; 000200 Sales; 000300 ITFor this example, I would want to pull Subs 000000-000300, but not count 000200 (e.g., Corporate Overhead reporting).Aside from creating a hidden row that sums 000000-000300 and subtracting a hidden row that only contains 000200, is there a way to create some kind of alias (e.g., CO) to assign to 000000, 000100, and 000300, which I can then use in financial reporting?

I have stock in several locations in my warehouse, I want to be able to change the location from which I am pulling stock from within the sales order. Can I do this and how?

Hello Community,I was wondering if Acumatica supported Merchandise Planning. If yes, please guide me through steps. Else how can we achieve this in our Acumatica system. Thanks in advance.

Hello Community members,Hope you all are doing well. I would like to get some of my confusions clarified regarding implementation and go-live for a customer.I would like to know if it is possible to get a live production instance installed over a server if the customer doesn't want to get it implemented by any Acumatica partners. I know it is better to go with Acumatica Partners but is this exception possible? If yes, please let me know how can a customer achieve it. As I have seen many of the community members are themselves Acumatica customers, so was wondering if they have implemented their systems without any partners. Also, my other confusion is related to the demo instance. I have seen whenever we create a new tenant, not in the production instance, the complete tenant is like a vanilla environment. What if the customer opts for such a vanilla environment instead of going with the licenses. This is the scenario where the customer doesn't look for any customisations, also they aren'

Hello,We have been designing a Payment Voucher report, which needs to have multiple copies (with slight variations) when printing. Currently, we are doing this by way of subreports - the main report passes the parameters back to identical subreports, and sectional page breaks split the copies into 3 pages. This has worked well, with the exception that footers in the subreports (which have Print at Bottom enabled and A4 paper size) don’t print at the bottom of their respective pages, probably due to how subreport nesting works.  We have tried manually setting the height of the subreport to A4 height in the main report, but this doesn’t seem to work either.Any ideas?

Does anyone know how to unrelease a time card?

Good day,We are trying to adjust out inventory that no longer exist or has been used in an old warehouse that is no longer going to be used.  We want to reduce to the On Hand to zero and the close/deactivate the warehouse to avoid any new sales/purchases to this warehouse.IN Error: The multiplier must be equal to 0 or 1.  I can’t fine a fix to this error to allow us to release the adjustment.  Any suggestions would be helpfulThank you.@Evan G

We have a manufactured part that is on backorder on numerous Sales Orders.  I have an “emergency” Sales Order that must go today before we fulfill all previously entered Sales Orders.  We have processed the part, item added to inventory but Acumatica has applied the item to the oldest outstanding backorder and is not available to pull on the “emergency” order.  Is there any way to circumvent/turn off this function off?

Here’s the scenario:We are creating a large blanket PO for ~ 30 different countertops which are all custom and will be drop-shipped to different customers. We would like to be able to link the drop-ship POs to both the blanket PO as well as linked to the end-customer Sales Order. Is it possible to be linked to both?

Hi All, I am currently working on an Inquiry for a Dashboard where I need to group by a certain Segment.I did it once before with Inventory Subaccounts:   Yet, now I am working with Projects and the Contract CD Field is segmented.I tried it this way, yet get the error that PMProject.ContractCD_Segment1 is not existing.Does anybody know how to properly incorporate the Segmented Keys here? If this helps, the Alias is referring to the CS.Segment Table

This is related to blanket sales orders.  Customer places an order for 500 widgets to be shipped out 50 pcs per month.  Our production process is optimized to make 50 widgets on each production order timed to the desired ship dates.  We can create 10 production orders and then create POs from the 10 production orders, but we get better pricing on the raw materials if we combine the POs and make one bulk purchase. Is there a good way to do this?  We have tried creating a production order for the entire 500 pieces and creating the PO from that Production order, but then we need to create the actual production orders for 50 pieces that the materials will be issued to. It get confusing because the materials are issued to production orders that are not the production order the materials were purchased for.

Hi all, I’m trying to create an import scenario to change the ship via when an order includes an alcoholic item. I’ve created a GI to catch all the orders with the targeted items, and then have a business event setup to run every time a record is inserted into this GI. The business event then runs the import scenario. It says it’s running without errors, but the sales order ship via’s are not changing. And also, it looks like the business event is running multiple times instead of just once per record? Anyone know what I might be missing? Thanks!

The customer has a Production Order and configures to Backflush Material and Labour. I discovered that when the customer uses Create Move, the system uses the Branch with WIP and Recovery Accounts. (Basically, driven by the User and Current Logged-in Branch).  Is there any way to override Branch Selection for GL Posting from the Work Centre in (BOM).Thanks for your quick pointers

Hi all. I have a tenant with no transactions therein. I have a GL account and 1 subaccount with 5 fixed segments therein. These obviously appear in all profiles. I need to reduce these 5 segments to four. Is there a simple way to do this (auto update) without deleting 200 posting classes and so forth

Hi Sir if we would like change inventory ID for certain part #. All the information are same and only change the inventory ID . How do we make the change in system? example from inventory ID : ABC change to XYZ

Is anyone else using the Cost Projection module in the construction edition of Acumatica? It works OK for us but one nuisance is the copy revision. When you copy revision there is a checkbox for ‘refresh budget’. When this is checked, the new revision will have the latest and greatest actual costs - great. However… it also resets the budgeted fields. This is problematic because say we have a cost code that we deem 100% done but now after the Copy > Refresh - that cost code is back to its actual percent complete.Does anyone know if it’s possible to have the system KEEP projected costs + quantities? The only way around this we’ve found is exporting the finished copy (with projections modified) then reimporting that after the new copy is created.

I have created attributes on stock items which I would like to display on the production ticket. When creating a GI, I can pull this information from this field InventoryItem.INVENTTYPE_Attributes. But on the report designer, this field is not available. How do I pull the attribute field through report designer? Do I need to create a table relation with CSAnswers through Schema Builder?

Hello,I am struggling to get the DateAdd function to work on my conditions. Is there a way to sort the reports on the finance tab under the financial statement header?

Hey everyone, I’m looking to clean up a new client’s account classes. They want to clean up the canned ones and ones that were previously made, but I’m coming across this error:‘GL Error: Account Class CAPITAL is used in Analitycal Report Manager.’  Any ideas on where I can change a setting to allow deletion?

Hi @All I created subcontract for a project but original committed amount values are not getting in the fields under project cost budget tab.
