I have clients that are trying to create GIs and work with their GLTran data.  The amount of data in this table has gotten very large over a few years of usage.  It significantly limits the GI filter capabilities as this dataset gets larger.  What options do customers have to create helpful GIs as their dataset gets larger. Here is an example:A client created a GI on just the GLTran table.  There are no table joins.The GI will pull back a record count if the last filter is removed (BETWEEN).  It sometimes pulls back a record count if the two filters with the date range are turned on.This is very frustrating that the filter capabilities become extremely more limited as the dataset gets larger.Does anyone have any suggestions or recommendations as we have experienced this in other places as well?

We have address fields on a lot of paperwork and instead of going through each one and amending the formula, is there a way to format the field.  When we have a number field I know that you can set the format with the number of decibel places in the format box etc, and I'm hoping its the same for text.I have tried just simply adding UCase to the format box but it didn't work.Thanks 

The employer over-withheld pre-tax health insurance.  He then repaid the over deduction by creating an earnings code called additional pay and removing the taxes so the employee was paid the full amount.  This takes care of the employee.  However, the pre-tax deduction is over-stated by this amount.  It appears you cannot enter a negative pre-tax deduction on an adjustment to correct this.  What is the best way to move the additional pay to a reduction in the pre-tax deduction?

Hi, I’m not the most versed with the Project module, but I have a customer who uses projects and has some restriction groups configured to limit access to projects, mostly along branch lines, they have several branches. That part seems to be working, users are only seeing projects that they are assigned to in the restriction group (via project groups).  What he is reporting however is that on the Project Transaction screen, users can see and call up transactions tied to projects that they don’t have access to otherwise.  And his biggest issue is that they can actually Release these transactions as well.   It also looks like they are using that Project Transaction Visibility by Account group and again, that part is working in that it is blocking access to some transaction lines, but he’s saying even with that, it still allows the user to call up the transaction and release it.   I haven’t gone through a full test on this, although I did confirm that I can see the transactions tied to pr

We have a business event that notifies the salesperson every time they are added as a salesperson to a customer. This business event is sending an email notification to the salesperson with the customer that has been assigned to them. The salesperson is currently on the “To” list on the email template, however, they are not receiving the email. Below is an email that was processed: The person on copy is only receiving emails. We are using Users table to pull the salesperson’s email addressNot sure what is causing this to appear blank. Hi Acumatica, I would like to show the report results for only a specific set of subaccounts. A comma separated list as input would be ideal. Is there a way to achieve this? It seems if I enter a start and end subaccount that only shows the numerical order but Id like to have the report shown for a grouping of non-sequential subaccounts.Thanks!!!!  

When I click on CUSTOMIZATION, it doesn't show the standard 'Edit Generic Inquiry' option. How can I modify it to add two additional columns? 

We are looking to utilize our company credit cards more to accumulate rewards.  My issue is - I do not want to lose the vendor history.  For example, we have used a vendor for many years and have always paid by check.  Now we want to pay with a credit card.  How can I do this?  The library says the “vendor” needs to be the credit card company.  But I want the vendor to stay as it has been.  Can I add “Credit Card” as a payment option?  And if so, then how does it work when I need to pay the credit card balance?  Thank you in advance for any insight!!

We are using only the distribution edition of Acumatica, and our pick list does not print the components for kits. Is there any setting, like enable or disable, to activate the option? 

Hello all.  We are currently about to roll out the Request and Requisiton process for Purchase Orders.  I’ve been trying to figure out how to link the Requested By of the Request to the PO.  We want to see who submitted the request on the Purchase Order screen and the Purchase Order Report.  But I am having a hard time figuring out the connections.  Has anyone does this before?

Hello !   My client produces custom unit and the components used will be fairly new and would not have purchased it earlier. So there is no history or the costing saved in Acumatica.They will use Estimation module to estimate for all components and will convert the Estimate to BOM. I was expecting that the unit Cost from estimate will be transferred atleast to the planned cost field in BOM. But it updates to 0 as there is no average cost in the inventory. so when the Production order is created the Planned material cost will be 0. Has anyone run into this situation? Do you have any ideas of how this can be handled?

I am no expert in C# in customization projects so all my knowledge is based on ChatGPT, which has been super helpful so far. We have a UDF currently made available on the SOLine on Details tab. It is a string data type and is a drop-down combo box. The goal: this UDF should only be editable when the item on this SO is in a specific item class (CUSTOMNS). We’re struggling with visibility around international shipments in our Distribution Center. Right now, both the supervisor creating the pick lists and the pickers themselves often don’t realize an order is international until it’s too late. As a result, shipments sometimes leave without the proper customs paperwork.Most of the time, our pickup drivers are good at catching this when they load their trucks, but I’d like to eliminate the risk before it gets that far.What I’d like to do is:On the Create Pick Lists screen: make international shipments stand out more clearly (e.g., highlight the line a different color or display an icon/flag). So i am build this report in the report designer.On this report the data type of {SOPackegeDetailEx.CustomRefNbr1} is a ‘string’.For some reason it's not working in the ‘sting’ mode but the moment I change the data type to “integer” it works.I check the data source of the data and it is “string”.I am not sure what i am doing wrong.this is the data source. 

Hello All, I am trying to add a GI to the side panel of the Customers screen. The goal is, when a customer is selected, then the inventory totals that customer has purchased show on the side panel. I know this is possible, as we already have something similar setup.  I have setup the GI for Customer screen the same way as the other side panel setup, but I am not getting the required result. Please help!

Hello all,I have a scenario where I would like to record a payment against a PO via credit card as the vendor required upfront costs. We then have the AMEX defined as a liability for this so, then we pay the AMEX. So its like instead of debiting the record again I would like to debit the liability.How can I achieve this? Is it like under the I define the AMEX as a cash A/c under a liability GL account?Let me know your thoughts on this.Thanks.

After a recent upgrade I’ve noticed that the two checkboxes for Require Receipt and Require Shipment are missing from our Non-Stock ItemsThe fields are still populated with a value and I can see those values through a GI, but there are no fields to edit or modify on the Non-Stock item itself, nor can I access them via a mass records update or import scenarioWe have a few minor customizations to Non-Stock items but nothing that should impact these fields Is there anything I’m missing from a settings or configuration stand-point that might be causing this?

Hello,I’ve added a user-defined field to the Journal Transactions screen and would like to move it to the Document tab. We previously opened a case with customer support, and they confirmed that this isn’t currently supported - but mentioned it may be available in future versions.Our client is using Acumatica 2025 R1. Is there any known workaround or customization approach that would allow us to reposition the field to the Document tab?Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.Thank you!

For an import scenario that I have with the Item Warehouse Details screen, IN204500, I am getting this error: Field: Default Issue From, Value: M      , Error: 'Default Issue From' cannot be found in the system. Can you modify my import scenario so that it does not throw an error and properly loads a record to the item warehouse details screen? Our warehouse locations have 4 segments (1 char, 2 char, 2 char, 2 char)Here is a screenshot of the import scenario:     I have attached the import scenario as well.

Good morning allI have just realised that my Description on AR invoices, that have already been posted is incorrect.  Is there anyway I can change it, without having to reverse invoice etc.  I need it to say 2025 not 2040…..thanks heaps
