How to ship non-stock kit components from multiple warehouses?

I did it in another ERP and would think this would be the same. You can have one in and out using  Interco.

This is used to move the comp2 Component from company 2 to company 1

Company1

Dr: Inventory  - COMP2 - Component 2 w/ default warehouse W2

Cr: interco - company 2

Company 2

Dr: interco - company 1

Cr: Inventory - COMP2 - Component 2 w/ default warehouse W2

After these transactions. both component 1 and 2 are in the same warehouse where now you could use it for the production.

I think you will need to include inventory transfers in your workflow. Maybe it can be automated?

Acumatica shipments exist in one warehouse, so you will need to move all inventory to the shipment warehouse. You can always adjust the pick list to the locations in the other warehouse, but you will need the inventory transfer to happen.

For my use case, I need separate shipments to be created. One shipment for each warehouse. Components of the Non-stock Kit may be pick/pack/shipped at different times of day in completely different physical DCs (e.g. Midwest vs. East).

I understand the inventory transfer option, but it's doesn't solve my issue. 

This forum topic sounds adjacent to my issue, but sounds like it's not yet possible in Acumatica, even for standard Stock Items when qty available exists in multiple warehouses.
