Hi. I need to add new tab to Daily Field Report document. At this tab must be grid and filter for this grid.
Grid must contain “Selector” column, allow Select all (this should trigger the ability to Save the DFR if changed on a record in this grid).
There will be no +/- on this grid, it is just showing existing results matching our filters.
When we select some lines at this tab, at next tab(new tab) must be fill associated rows from some table. How i can do this?

Hi @bihalivan15 ,

Your question is not that much clear to me. If you are talking about the Daily Field Report (PJ304000) screen, then you need a developer to create and add a new custom tab to that screen as per your requirement. That is doable.

But if you are talking about Daily Field Report (PJ3040PL) Generic Inquiry, then ‘Yes, we can add a new tab to the GI as a grid and with filters’, but we need to evaluate your requirement properly to check its feasibility.

Hi @bihalivan15, this request sounds fairly complex, so you would likely need to work with a developer to complete it. If you need to do this for all field reports with the same selection, you could likely add a UsrSelected field to the first tab grid. Then you would extend the graph for the screen and include the view for the first tab, and a view for the second tab with a restriction based on the first grid in the Where or the Join.

If you need this to display separately for each document, it will be even more complicated than this, likely creating a new DAC for the first grid tab as well.

I assume you need dependent grids,  where the child grid refreshes the data on change in the parent grid.

The blog post should be of help!
