We would like to know how you addressed Revision control for Inventory and Manufacturing within Acumatica.  We are in the Life Science industry and we have regulatory requirements around Revision control at the item level.  We are considering native Acumatica and QMS for Acumatica but neither seems to address this.  If you have experience with this matter within Acumatica, please share.

Hi,I am working on a customization and I am looking to automatically save the default values in a setup form when the customization is installed. We would like to have the record inserted into the database without users needing to go to the setup form.I am using a constructor in the setup graph to insert a record but I am getting an error: “The cache PageSetup has not been found in the list of auto-initialized caches.”Is there a better approach for this? I have included my code below. Hi,I created one new Selector field in Stock Item Custom Tab.In screen level records are showing in selector.. Hi,Previously I developed application that generates file when some Payment is SavedIt was done by calling this event  Now I need to do the same for ChecksI tried to create similar event , but I do not know how to define  such event One important moment  that the event must be called only once, due to it generates file.It was advised to use that part of code  e.Cache.VerifyFieldAndRaiseException<ARPayment.refNbr>(e.Row);And it perfectly worked the event was called only by once. How to do same for Cheks and Payments as what was done for Payments and Applications entity ?

Hello,Our company has finally joined the 21st century and is using a shared inbox instead of having customers directly message “their favorite” internal sales person their purchase order.  The problem we have been running into is that since multiple people are processing orders from a shared inbox, orders are being duplicated.While one could argue that there is a prevention system for this within Acumatica, I’m going to argue against that. This is the only warning you receive and it is completely inadequate.  There are so many little yellow warnings all over everything on every single screen it becomes just another part of “warning fatigue.”  We need a very obvious pop-up note or something to make the person entering the order re-think and check to see if the order has already been input.I realize that “Nathan” is not a proper PO number, however, sometimes you’ll just get a customer that calls or sends over an e-mail and says just use “Nathan” or “Verbal Nathan” as my PO for this order

Hello,I am using INItemSiteHistDay to do some inventory analysis.  As a gut check, I subtotaled on inventory ID and compared the results to the total of all warehouse quantities in the stock item screen.Sometimes (not always) my results do not match what is displayed for the total of all warehouse quantities.I am wondering if I am missing something in the following formulas, or if INItemSiteHistDay does not actually hold all inventory transactions.These are the formulas I am using:QtyIn =  INItemSiteHistDay.qtyReceived + INItemSiteHistDay.qtyTransferIn + INItemSiteHistDay.qtyAssemblyIn  QtyOut = INItemSiteHistDay.qtyIssued + INItemSiteHistDay.qtySales + INItemSiteHistDay.qtyCreditMemos + INItemSiteHistDay.qtyTransferOut + INItemSiteHistDay.qtyAssemblyOut Thanks for any assistance!

Before sending an email to my final list, I like to send it out to my TEST list (which I create using my personal emails) so I can see the actual in my inbox. I did this, sent to 3 contacts (my test list), but haven't received the email yet. However, MAP says 3 emails were delivered. I'd love some help if someone has experience with this! Thanks.

Hello, on Purchase Receipt Release action, we need to show user a Confirmation Dialog, then based on the input from first Confirmation Dialog, we need to show another Confirmation Dialog popup. On release action first Confirmation Dialog appears but not the second one. in a manufacturing environment:Hello, we need to be able to import BOM as the cost base into either estimate or quote or any other window, then mark up labor cost and material cost and any other markup for sales quote purpose. i.e. BOM1, with 2 ops center A & B, and raw materials 8 & 9once we import bom1, markup op center A by 25% and B by 30%, etc.. Any direction and instruction highly appreciated .. thank youZoey

I am upgrading a project from 2020R1 to 2021R2.In my SOOrderEntry extension, the Override on the actions is not firing.  I know the extension is firing because other code gets hit on a breakpoint.The action I am overriding is the Create Shipment item.  This is what it looks like in the 2020R1: This is what it looks like in 2021R2.  The Create Shipment button is displayed in the menu bar and it is not selected from a drop down list.I am thinking this may be the reason why my override does not fire.   This is the extension    public class SOOrderEntrySSGExt : PXGraphExtension<SOOrderEntry>    { This ActionDelegate signature changed.  The only thing I changed to make it compile successfully is that I changed siteCD to siteID in the signature.        #region Overridden Methods        public delegate IEnumerable ActionDelegate(PXAdapter adapter, Nullable<Int32> actionID, Nullable<DateTime> shipDate, Nullable<Int32> siteID, String operation, String ActionDelegateName)

I have this text in a Text Box control in Report Designer:=’Where the customer opts to have the company pay a cemetery fee on their behalf, a  $15.00 processing fee will be assessed.’In the form output, the $ sign is not printed, there is a blank space instead, like this: “a   15.00”.I’ve tried Format, \$, but I can’t get it to print the $ sign.Thanks

Hi,I have someone entering an expense claim using a specific Expense Item. Normally this item is taxable and has taxes calculated but in his instance, the supplier is not charging tax. How can the person entering their expense claim put the tax amount to zero as the taxes get calculated automatically based on the tax category and configuration. This could be the case on expense claims, or on PO’s or in AP Billls too. When I try to set it to zero I get the following error:

Since our policy is that any time spent on a service appointment after 4:30 is considered overtime, we want the overtime rate to be used automatically in calculating the total labor on invoice. Are there any suggestions on how to do this? Or would it be a customization?

Hello,We have a production order with the status of “completed” which we need to close.When we attempt to close, it fails and tells us there is unreleased transactions.When I attempt to release the offending labor transaction, it fails and say it can’t process because the production order is “completed”.Seems like a catch 22 here.I can’t close the production order because of the unreleased labor.I can’t release the labor because the production order is completed.There is no way to change the status of the production order to allow corrections.Thanks for any guidance!

I am trying to Export the “Debit Adjustment” records using Export Scenario from Bills and Adjustment screen but it always returns the “Bill” Type records. I have applied the Type mapping as Type=’Debit Adj.”Herewith, I have attached the Export XML. Does anyone help will be appreciated.
