Hi AllCurrently , we have a new product line and we wouldl like to differentiate the sales , purchase and inventory with existing product line so that can reflected in financial report for different product line.Not sure which method is good for differentiate?Differentiate by sub accountorDifferentiate by new account code , which mean we create a new account code for sales, purchase and inventory. 40000 vs 4000157300 vs  5730114720 vs 14721Which method that you suggested? what the reason that you suggest the method? 

Hi SirWe would like to create a invetory code for new product line , the account code will be 14721 .We understand that the account code posting for inventory is controlled by posting class.Need to create a new posting class for this new product line.  When we create a new stock item and assign this new posting class, then system will post to these new account code. My question is what is posting class referring to?Is anyone can guide me how to do the above create the new posting class in system?Hope to hear from you soon.Thank you

Recently I’ve noticed an issue that after I publish customization projects our users report that their saved filters are lost.  Has anyone else experienced this? Is this a known issue?

Going Live this week and none of our Shipments created through the Fedex carrier plugin are showing up on Fedex.com (FedEx Ship Manager).  UPS shows everything we create.We also made an error and re-opened a Shipment that is currently in transit.  The label disappeared from the shipment.  #1.  Did we void that shipment with Fedex?#2. How do we get our shipments created with the Fedex carrier plugin to show on Fedex.com so we can manage them?#3. Does canceling and/or deleting a Shipment void the shipment with Fedex?  Would be so nice if we could see these shipment to determine if they do. Thanks for any help.  UPS was a breeze to setup and Fedex has been a big headache.

First time using the InStr function.  I’m simply using it within an import scenario field expression to set a checkbox field to true or false based on whether a specific character is contained within a data field in my excel spreadsheet being used as the data provider.  Seemed pretty simple, but it’s not acting at all like I’m expecting.  I’m pasting an sample of what I’m doing, I’ve been trying many different gyrations but nothing seems to be working like I would expect.  The second line is just hardcoded where it should return 0 since 2 is not in the string 1345, and then should set to checkbox to false, but it always checks the box when tested.  Maybe it doesn’t return 0 as I’m thinking?  Not sure.. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Out of 6 clients who went live, we encountered 2 clients having issues to export reports to PDF.1 client with 2 companies, had issue in 1 company having 5 branches, i.e all 5 branches in the 1 company are affected.This happens in 2019R2 build 19.205.0023. Anyone encountered this before?Trace on why cannot export to PDFAppreciate any valuable input.

When we send an email from our Shipment screen (SO302000) using Actions>Email Shipment, the emails that get generated are almost identical to the Notification Template it must be using (ID: ShipmentConfirmationNotification), except there is one line inserted “Track your shipment at [Tracking Link]”.  Unfortunately, that [Tracking Link] placeholder doesn’t use the tracking number to populate. I can’t determine where it is getting this change to the template.  It is the only Notification Template related to Shipping at all.  There are no changes in the customer’s Mailing Settings or the Sales Order Preferences Mailing Settings.  I’d like to delete that line, but can’t find it, plus you cannot alter the email before processing it. We are running 2020 R1 build 20.106.0005 with the Manufacturing Edition. Any help would be great!  Thanks!

Hello,       Correct me if I am wrong, I remember in previous version (before 2020R2). If the Actions--->email sales order/Quote be clicked,       The checkbox “Emailed” will be set to true.             However, in “2020R2 build203” it will not come to checked status even if the action be clicked.Did I remember wrong, or is it a glitch?            Please help me if I would like to make it true automatically to identify these been emailed orders.How can I achieve it?Thank you.

I have a simple table and a grid to add records to it.  The Account Mapping grid works.  But on the Branch Mapping grid, when I click the “PLUS” icon, the icon goes grey and no new row is available on the grid.Before clicking PLUS This is what is looks like after clicking the PLUS icon: The table is very simple.   When a Company is selected, the view for the grid is         public SelectFrom<ICSBranchMapping>            .Where<ICSBranchMapping.organizationID                .IsEqual<ICSSetup.organizationID.FromCurrent>>.View BranchMapping; The ICSSetup table is even simpler:  If I create a new record in ICSSetup, it lets me add 1 row to the ICSBranchMapping table But I cannot add another row.Here is the DAC for the ICSBranchMapping table The records in the DB all look fine after adding the 1 row it will allow me to enter.The action button is a dummy.  The code has been commented out to ensure it has nothing to do with the issue.I forgot to mention, I CAN update the exi

I can retrieve data from the POLandedCostSplit table in the database: But I can’t find a Data Access Class that will allow me to retrieve the POLandedCostSplit data: I need to retrieve the data using a Generic Inquiry and I’m trying to avoid having to create a SQL View.Does anyone have any ideas?

Hello,       I have a requirement that set freight as $5 by default for every sales order ship from 1 particular warehouse.                   For that particular warehouse, the customers are fixed. That warehouse served customers can be identified. So, this question can turn to set fixed freight for particular customers.       I am thinking of Acumatica’s “freight calculation”, but it seems to be dynamic not fixed. It is calculated based on order’s amount, volume or weight.              We don’t need it to be complicated, we want to set it be fixed $5.          Can anyone give me some suggestions?

Is there any way to see the Adjusted Cash balance in Acumatica?  it would essentially be the the value of bank account, plus unreconciled checks, minus unreconciled receipts, plus other adjustments such as reversals?  This is especially valuable when doing cash management exercises for bill payments.   Maybe this functionality already exists, but we just don’t know about it?

I can get the data I want in GI using a second filter.  like below:   The key in the join condition is that “INitemsitehistday” might only have qty in record，no sales record     So if “left join” used， might get a joined line with INitemsitehistday.Sdate as Null. This filter out  is working well in GI.However if I would like to apply the same kind of second filter by using the visibility section setting in report Designer. The “ Or [INItemSiteHistDay.SDate] Is Null” does not work.  Then can somebody help me to get the data I want in Report designer?1， Not sold in 90 days2， never sold， which left join get a NULL value
