Going to AP Preferences and unchecking “Hold Documents on Entry” and or checking “Automatically Release Retainage Bills” does not seem to do anything.Can anyone explain what toggling these two button will do?We would like, upon release of the retainage bill the bill is created with an Open status.  Our retainage bills are going to a Hold status, which creates extra work.See screen shot below from the Acumatica help menu.Financial Management/Accounts Payable/Processing Bills with RetainageBrian

I cannot figure out why the Inventory ID field in the mobile app is showing as the Inventory ID description, but on the GI it shows correctly. Anyone have any ideas? 

I can not find a User Security option to allow the Unlock Period option to show up on Master Financial Calendar.No users including admin are able to unlock locked periods.Any place I can look to see why?

Hello all,Is it possible to override a private method of a graph? There have been several times where I have would have liked to, but I lack the rights to such methods from extensions since they are technically different objects as the base graph. Does anyone have a work around for this?It’s frustrating seeing the exact line of code I need to change to do a simple customization but lacking access to it to make the change. Instead I end up writing an inefficient workaround using event handlers.Edit: For example, right now I’d like to override OpportunityMaint.FillDefaultBAccountID(), but I can’t using the standard PXOverride attribute & delegate since it’s private.

I’m setting up some Generic Inquiries that are exposed via OData for ingestion into a data warehouse.Some of the GIs are comprised of data from multiple tables (Customer + Address, for instance).In order to implement an incremental load strategy, I include a computed data field for Last Modified DateTime that looks like this:=Max([Table1.LastModifiedDateTime],[Table2.LastModifiedDateTime],etc,etc)But when I try to filter on that via an OData query such as this (where the actual date/time is filled in based on a previously captured value)$filter=ModifiedOn gt datetime'yyyy-mm-dd hh:mm:ss' I get an error messageError while copying content to a stream. Unable to read data from the transport connection: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host. However, if I include all of the LastModifiedDateTime values in the GI, I can successfully query data with a filter such as$filter=LastMod1 gt datetime'yyyy-mm-dd hh:mm:ss' or LastMod2 gt datetime'yyyy-mm-dd hh:mm:ss' or ... or

I have an authentication problem with oauth2 during I did the steps well (client id, secret code ....) but when I authenticate the postman display this error in the image.thank you for help 

I am having issue when using attributes for project tasksnot allow default value. this is different compare with attributes in Case or other screens When sorting by attribute in one Generic inquiry, it generates the error. I then tested a GI with cases, it allows sorting on attribute there. 

Hello，      I am sorry, but I have to report again, in 2020R2, I met status issue again.Look below: The status of SO is obviously should be completed, because shipment had already been completed. It looks like in 2020R2, due to unknown reason, we got now and then status issue.It is not rare cases, it happens every week. And other users have also confirmed this kind of issue. It might be the new “workflow” mechanism has some issues in it.  Before the developing team to find the root cause, I do believe a manually validation would help.See my idea below: That user manually trigger the system to recalculate. Like the issue I show above, the system would know the shipment has been completed and so the system can modify the so status to correct.

We have several clients and 2 current prospects that would like the ability to have inventory item information (descriptions and prices/costs) exposed to external estimating systems so these items stay “in sync.”

Hi Folks!  We have a client who would like to simplify the creation of new Stock Items in a Multi-warehouse environment.  Other than using GI’s as a data provider and running imports, does anyone have any tools/utilities to automatically establish item warehouse details using some default settings for newly created stock items?  I’ve not gotten into the workflow designer as of yet to see if there’s anything there that could assist, but if you all have some tips or tools to assist, please reply.  

I haven’t seen this problem for 15 years, but I have a prospect that loves their Dot Matrix printer with color coded Invoice copies. I can wean them off of the Dot Matrix to Laser but, I don’t think I can get them to part with print different colors of invoice and other doucments in pink, green, yellow.  I found color coded laser paper but does that solve the problem of how multiple sets of the same invoice are printed?How have you solved this problem?

Hello,        After upgrading to 2020R2, build 203, we are suffering shipment status issue now and then.like below:         Poorly, today we encounter another status issue on Sales order screen.1 Sales order says “shipping” status but no related shipment can be found.          Why and how did this issue happen is unknown. Maybe it is a rare case. However, anytime, if this kind of issue happens, what can the user do ?         The user has to wait the techical staff to fix in Database.         In Acumatica we are already having “balance validation” and “inventory validation” functions. So can we also have a “status validation” function, then system can in some way correct some incorrect status documents.

On many of the reports during the print process, there is a Send button.  This button would generate an email using the data fields from the screen or document.  In report designer, you can fill in the data or associate it to a Notification Template.  NOW in A2020R2, this functionality seems to be lost.  When you hit send, the data is not translating from the document and shows to coded values.  What a loss of functionality.  Clients frequently may have multiple templates associated with the document and were going to Actions to select the template.   The screen shot below is for AP payment register so you can email the Vendor the details that the check was applied for.For AR Invoicing, will this functionality be taken away?   How will it be replaced?  Business events still use Notification templates.  So do the AR preferences and other documents.   Within the Notification templates, there needs to be a way to have better formatting as well.

I am looking for a solution to assist my customer service team to handle calls and schedule field service appointments from other time zones.  We have Branches set up and the Customer Service staff are instructed to select the Branch from the  Acumatica title Bar.  When doing so, we would like the users Time Zone to be adjusted so that the Branch and the time zone allow the Customer service person to create appointments in the customer’s local time zone.  

Hello,       we’d like to note down some item’s expiration data, and that is optional.And we don’t like to enforce the lot tracking. Just like to note down some information.On customization screen, I did not find a way to enable it.   I know how to add a customized field at line level.   However, can I ask if it is possible or allowed that I simpily make the “expiration date” field enable? is there a way to do it?   Becausing the customized filed would have the same business meaning with the original “expiration date” field, so I don’t want to add duplicated field unless it is a must.

Easy way for a field in a grid entry screen to prefill down from the prior row? For example user is entering PO items and would like the project ID to prefill down for each line after they select the project in the first row?

I am trying to import payments from a spreadsheet into the Payments and Applications. We have a client who, in the normal course of business, takes photos of their work.  In their legacy system, they have the ability to not only embed these images to their customer-facing forms, but can also annotate them with labels to briefly describe what their customers are looking at.Has anyone encountered this requirement and if so, how did you solve it?
