Our customer is looking at dumping StarShip because of the horrible integration. We suggested Easy Post but I need to confirm 2 things that I believe are correct but can’t find the documentation.Can Easy Post do or allow Rate shopping? Last time I configured it was 2 years ago and I forgot. I am pretty sure I read that clients can use their previously negotiated rates through Easy Post. Is that correct?Sorry for the silly questions.Thank you.

We've done enough testing of this (trying to find a work around) that it's pretty clear what is happening is a bug and not a misconfiguration/misunderstanding.  We already have a support ticket open, but I wanted to share out situation in case anyone else might be unknowingly having the same symptoms. Problem appears to occur when the *pay period* crosses the calendar year boundary.  This is because Acumatica breaks it up into two PTO bank records - a 2021 portion and a 2022 portion.  Then the PTO allocated is pro-rated across the payroll week... so in our scenario, with a payroll week from Monday-Sunday, two days are in 2022.  And so our notional 1.54hr PTO weekly accrual gets split into a 2021 portion (1.1hrs) and a 2022 portion (.44hrs).On that first paystub of the year, we see ONLY the .44hrs allocable to 2022 reflected (same in the PTO Details by Employee Report -- though on THAT report you see the 2021 record broken out, it just isn’t summarized correctly.. I have been asked if it’s possible to add SO Number and Invoice Number columns to the popup Selector for choosing the original transaction when issuing a refund on the Payments and Applications screen. This would make finding the original transaction a lot quicker. Any pointers on how I would go about doing this would be most welcome.See image below:Thanks, Phil

Hi Everyone, I’m trying to understand formulas in GIs. The documentation does not provide guidance on how to use formulas. There is a Report Designer guide that lists each formula and how it’s used (Isnull() on p. 63) but it lacks detail about how data types affect expressions within the formula. If you know of another resource, please share :-) On to Isnull(). Here’s the documentation.I’ve written a simple formula with unexpected results:=Isnull( CStr([ARInvoice.CustomerID]), 'NULL')in row 1, ‘9698’ does not match either of the referenced columns. Why?My ultimate goal is to have this algorithm in a way that Acumatica understands:If CustomerID is null, return ReferenceID, else return CustomerID 

The report exists on my end.  I can see it under Data views. See screenshot.  However, Emily and other users can’t view it anymore.  She used it this morning.  I looked at the security.  I review the GI but nothing pops out on what the issue could be.  I tried moving it to a different module and the moved it back.  Any ideas? 

We had an import scenario that worked in an older version of Acumatica that was used to import large volumes of projects into the system and automatically create and activate the projects.  In the older import scenario we used to force a “False” into the Hold field to trigger the activation.With the upgrade to 2021R1 and the addition of the Workflow Automation, the old import no longer works as the Hold button is gone.I have tried using both of the options below, but I get the same error on both of them.Target Object Field/Action Name Project Summary <Action: Activate Project> (Activate) Project Summary <Action: Activate Project> (Activate@Action)  Error: Object reference no set to an instance of an object.If I deactivate the line in my import scenario, the projects are created just fine, but they are “in planning.”  The error only comes when I try to activate them.  I’ve also tried updating the status field directly in the import scenario but that does nothing.Wha

I have added 35 custom fields to PMCostProjectionLine and the same number of fields to the PMCostProjection to keep Lines summary. Acumatica’s Cost Projection screen itself is pretty slow. The fields I have added doesn’t have any business logic (No code in Graph) but at the DAC level 26 of these fields are using PXFormula to do some calculations and almost all custom fields at the PMCostProjectionLine have SumCalc in their PXFormula to update the PMCostProjection. The problem I have is being slow navigating between Lines. Just clicking on a line and then another line without any change takes couple of seconds.When I trace as there are a lots of break I can’t really figure out what causes the performance issue. I disabled the formulas temporarily it was slightly better but didn’t make a real difference.This fields in the grid have CommitChange = true as I need by changing each value the dependent fields values be refreshed as per the defined formulas.Has anyone experienced this and is a

Hello,If MRP display shows multiple lines for the same purchased stock item, I would like to be able to create one PO line to order what I need.If I select multiple lines for the same stock item, and click “Purchase” in MRP display, it creates a PO with multiple lines for the same stock item, just with the different quantities.  I would like one line with the entire amount. Similarly, if it is a MFG item, I would like one production order created when I hit the “Manufacture” button in MRP display. I can’t find any preference that sets this behavour.Thanks!

The PO Accrual Reports needs to include all activity that affect the PO Accrual account.  The existing PO Accrual Reports only take into account the traditional Receipt of Goods into Inventory and Receipt of those Vendor Bills.  There is no way to audit this account if a customer uses Sales Order Drop-shipments.In the Drop-shipment process, a Receipt of Goods and Bill is entered when the vendor notifies the Acumatica user that their Drop-ship PO has been fulfilled.  When this type of Receipt is entered and released, a G/L Transaction creates a Debit to the PO Accrual and a Credit to Accounts Payable.Once the Sales Order Line that is flagged as Drop-shipped is invoiced and released, the system will create a G/L Transaction (via an Inventory Issue) that will Credit the PO Accrual Account and Debit a Cost of Sales Account.If there is timing differences between the Vendor Bill and the Customer invoice, this Debit Balance will sit in the PO Accrual and the existing PO Accrual Reports do not

I facing problem when recording Labor - Quarantine for inventory item which using manual serial number. Anyone ever facing this problem and have solution to overcome it. Appreciate your advise.  

It looks like once a sales order failed credit verification, the user must hit action Remove Credit Hold manually for further processing. Can someone advise how to change the workflow so that the order status is automatically open once payment/prepayment is made or when the amount of the sales order is no longer over credit limit.  

I know I’m missing a step, but I can’t remember what it is. If I go to Receivables > Invoices & Memos > then Reverse/Apply to Memo to void an invoice, the service order appointments do not reappear in Run Appointment Billing. What step am I missing? Essentially, the process is that an invoice was created and released, but it needed to be voided and reinvoiced because it was inaccurate. Applying the credit memo through reverse/apply to memo successfully voids it, but how do the service order appointments return to a billable state? 

Various standard screens (Notification Templates for example) on the copy icon have an “Export as XML” and “Import from XML” option on them. I have a custom maintenance form with table/DAC/Graph.   The copy/paste/save as template are all there and work great.  How do you get the Export and XML and Import From XML to show up and work?  

I have a custom field (CustPORefNbr) on my Service Orders screen that I wish to display on any Appointments spawned from the parent Service Order. I have created a custom field (UsrCustPORefNbr) on the Appointments screen that I wish to fill with the value from the parent Service Orders CustPORefNbr.It’s a read-only field on the Appointments screen; I don’t need it to update the database. It’s fine with me if it pulls the value from the Service Orders screen (DAC) every time the Appointment is displayed.What’s the best code for doing this? Thanks in advance for any consideration.  

Hello,    We are not using the scanner and mobile warehouse mangement service to fulfill shipment.The users who enter the shipment on screen are not the ones who pick the goods.     we have a need to record the pickers of the shipment. I say pickers, because it could be 1 picker or 2 pickers at most.  So I am intending to use 2 single selectors with non required setting. The pickers might not have the user account in system. But I am thinking I can put them into system as employees and under a “picker group” of “company tree”.     Can anyone give me some suggestions on the below needs:1,  How to add the “employee selector” on shipment screen,2,  The data source of the selector better be restricted to “pickers” only.3,   The information can be persisted to DB, and can do further reporting later.4,   The selector better be edited at any shipment status (even completed or invoiced), this is because someone might put wrong picker, so we have the need to correct.          Thank you in advan

The MICR font on my check form is displaying with all red zeros when I print the check.  Any ideas why this is happening?

I have created a cash deposit with 5 credit card transactions in it.During reconciliation, I realized that I was looking at the wrong total and I had to void the cash deposit.  When I voided, it only voided 4 transactions, I cannot create another deposit, 5th transaction is not available to use, basically it’s locked. This is holding my BR from April.  Any idea how to address this?  Thank youSB
