Hi,I want to copy field Invoice Note in Invoices to Sales Orders and whenever this field is updated in Invoices, the field in Sales Orders should be updated with same value.What happen in my mind: create a custom field in Sales Orders, then implement Event Handler FieldUpdated of the field “Invoice Note” set value for custom field.However, I don’t if it is possible and how to set value for custom field in Sales Order in Event Handler.Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Hey Community!!  I have customized a an out of the box GI (Appointment Details). I have added tables SO order and joined it with Service Order. And joined opportunity table (CR Relation and CR Opportunity) to SO order. This was done to get owner ID of the opportunity. What I can observe is that for certain records only, the lines are duplicating and for others it is fine. Also,  observed this was working fine few days ago but suddenly not sure why it is showing the duplicates. Here is the table joins:  These are the dupe values I am seeing only for certain records:  One thing I noticed is the Owner Field is coming for one line and is not coming for another wherever there are dupes. Attaching xml for the GI.

I’m afraid this is a bug, but I’m wondering if anyone else has encountered this problem. I have a Generic Inquiry created for Cases. There’s nothing especially unusual about this GI. The Case ID column is mapped to a navigation parameter which opens the Case screen. As my own user, the GI works fine. As several other users, the GI also works fine. As one or two particular users, the GI navigation does not work. Clicking any Case link opens the first Case in the list. Of course, the first thing you’d think of is to eliminate the variables. So using my computer with my Edge browser, I open an incognito tab and using the ‘Sign in as user’ feature, I sign into these user’s accounts. Exactly the same results. Some users it works for, some it doesn’t. How is this possible?

I was reviewing the release notes and looking to see if anyone knows if with the new feature of the side panels on the forms such as the Sales Order and Stock Items, can those be edited? I know you can edit from the generic inquires but is there a place to add/edit on the forms? Has anyone come across this yet? 

I am preety new in the acumatica customization….is there any chance for me to call external API call so that i can get the data ? after the data is being collected and presented i would like to enable user to select the data which then he can save.I was thinking to create screen, also to create custom unbound DAC-s but i am not sure how to work with the rest of the requirements, any suggestion would mean a lot.Maybe i could perform the get method using some other methods….i am currently stuck...at first i was thinking to call Acumatica POST call, but the problem is that i must first perform “login” so that i can “POST” the data, but i must use only one link from that external app….that is the reason which i wanted to create the GET call from the Acumatica itself…. 

Hi,Although we have branch security implemented, we are regularly getting employees picking projects from other branches on their expense receipts on Acumatica 2021 R2.Is there another way in our current version or is there a future version that supports this?Thank you,Dave Z 

HelloAbout the different “Tax Type” available in the “Taxes” settings in Acumatica:I would like to know if all types need to be integrated/supported for the retail-ecommerce (ex: VAT, Sales, etc) or if only the type “Sales” can be used? If the tax type “VAT” is selected for a Tax ID, is there any impact on the retail-ecommerce for the related options that can be checked (ex: Reverse VAT, Internal VAT, etc)? Do we need to integrate all of them? Is there any document for retail-ecommerce about the different tax type integration with retail-ecommerce?Thank you, 

Hi all, I set up the file synchronization to the FTP server as below. Currently the file name received on FTP server includes a date time tag, e.g. "STOCKEXPORT_2022_08_11_14_31_46.csv". Is it possible to remove the data tag and keep the file name as "STOCKEXPORT.csv" which is the file attached to the data provider. I haven’t selected anything in Export File Naming Format field and thought it would not add anything to the export file name, but it seems to still add a date tag.  Thank you.  

I am looking to join the ApproverEmployee DAC with my custom GI so I can see the required Assignee ID for the expense receipt.  I have figured out that the ApprovedEmployee DAC is hidden but I don’t have any other ideas how to gather that data and associate it with the receipt.  I have the screenshots below of the field I am looking for along with the tables & relationships for my custom GI.  

I am looking for a 401k report by payperiod for upload to the 401k provider (or Generic Inquiry).  What is the best report to start with for customization that includes deduction by payperiod and YTD total earnings and hours? ThanksSharon

Hello guys, we are looking to reduce purchasing costs and are looking  for acumatica to help us. In fact, we were wondering if we could send purchasing quotes to different vendors via email through the acumatica erp. We wish to centralise the information. Ideally, when creating a new PO, we would like to see, attached to the ItemID, all the different vendor quotes for the product. Dates would be included. This would help us track our purchases because, as of now, our buyers manage the quotes in their emails. This practice increases the risk of error of overpaying for products. Would this be possible? Thank you so much!

 Hello,I’m getting some issues with Creating template items: The item with the same inventory ID already exists. Change segment settings of the inventory ID. Could someone enlighten me on a method to make this work?

I am trying to print labels from a PO Receipt but only when the Inventory Item is in a particular Item Class.  My attempts at filtering aren’t working.Example: I want to include only those where the item class contains ASHR, AUTOR, and MINPL.In report designer I have tried various ways in the filters tab - as you can see I have LLIKE and the beginning of one of the item classes.  I have tried Like, IN and none work.  When I print the report it comes up blank.  Does anyone know a way to add a filter to accommodate this requirement?  

Added two grids to the Customer Locations Screen.  The screens work fine up to the point where I hit save. Many of our customers (and my company, too) have begun using separate AP inquiry and invoice submission email addresses (e.g., accounting@ for inquiries and ap.invoices@ for invoices, etc.). As a result, when we send invoices or statements to a customer automatically, one of the other often is sent to the wrong address, unless we blast both addresses for everything, which is annoying if you’re on the receiving side. Is there any way to set up Acumatica to send customer invoices to a dedicated address and then use the general Billing contact email for statements (or vice-versa)?

Hello,In creating a SO for a project, I have found that when Project-Specific Inventory is enabled that only inventory assigned to the project is available for issue. What I am seeing in the SO screen is that the availability is X for the item and then as soon as I select the project the availability goes to zero. Most of my inventory is not project specific, so I would assume that it would be available to any project, however this is not the case. Can this be adjusted with a setting, allowing reserved/assigned inventory to only be sold to the appropriate project while unassigned/unreserved inventory also be available.From what I can tell its seems this feature may be all or nothing, all inventory is tracked/assigned or non, I am looking for both. Example of no project with inventory available Example after a project is selected 

The client is requesting the creation of a labels with barcodes (picture box) for use with purchasing receipts. One of the barcodes on the label is for the item’s lot/serial number. There are some receipts/items do not have lot/serial numbers, so we need to suppress the barcode (picture box). I have not been able to find a way to suppress the picture box. Has anyone found a workaround for this issue. 

Dear All,There is some item that has an expired date but when we check with the supplier, they agreed to extend expire date. Is there a known issue for all bank deposits not appearing.  I have 200+ ach transactions valued at $200,000 for deposit but only 172 for $160,000 are showing up.  What would be the reason for all transactions not showing up on the deposit?

Greetings folks, We are on the Cloud version of Acumatica, not yet through our first year. We had a user inadvertently leave Migration Mode on after performing a task that required it, and now the business would like us to find a way to detect if it’s on. Any suggestions for how to go about this? We interact with Acumatica via Serverless lambda functions in AWS, but I’ve not located an API for this. Thank you, Dave
