So my question is, is the logic used to trigger the PX1070 incorrect?  Or is there a more correct way to achieve this goal? Or do I just ignore PX1070 in this case?

Has anyone dealt with the following type of outsourced manufacturing and if so, how did you or how would you handle it in Acumatiça?Company purchases the primary raw material in volume and drop ships it to the outsourced manufaturing vendor (treated as a warehouse in Acumatica).  When production orders are needed from that outsourced vendor, the outsourced vendor mixes additional raw materials not owned by the company with the raw material owned by the company and then packages the product (more raw materials) before shipping to the company and invoicing the company for those fully packaged items without the cost of the primary raw material. At this point, the product is coming into the system without the cost of the raw material. I suppose that we could have the items coming from the outsourced vendor be treated as a component item for a production order after the item arrives fully packaged into the warehouse. Hay guysDoes anyone have an opinion on the best way to press two action buttons from another graph on a graph extension?More Specifically I want to press the “Print Courier Label” action button and the “Confirm Shipment” action button from my pick/pack/ship screen.Do I need to bite the bullet and learn how to edit the ASPX page?Or can I trigger it in a graph extension? I tried using an event handler, but I must have done it wrong, couldn’t get it working. I couldn’t get it working in the workflow editor either as the existing actions are on the Shipment screen and I want to Action them from the pick/pack/ship screen. If someone could steer me in the wright direction I can figure out the rest, i.e., what type of methodsThank you

I have around 10 customizations in my Acumatica instance and I am trying to find in which customization my customized action is there. Normally I would just Inspect the element and go to view business source code and I am able to find the DLL. But this customized action is showing me the System Namespace of PX………..Can anyone share some input hereThanks

I have created a custom field on the Adjustment screen which I want to use to override the default location when adding an inventory item in the details tab.How do I reference the extension to get the custom field from the summary section from an event (INTran_InventoryID_FieldUpdated) in the details section?I am used to using the following to get the extension:INRegisterExt iNRegisterExt = PXCache<PX.Objects.IN.INRegister>.GetExtension<INRegisterExt>(row);but row is referring to the detail row and not the summary section. Is there any way that we could create user-defined fields for a branch or somewhere we can add bank information per branch? We are wanting to pull bank information for each brank onto the ar invoices. 

Hi,  We’re running into an issue when doing inventory counts and using the Scan and Count automated function. If an item doesn’t exist in a location and we try to add it, the system flags it and asks if we want to add it. There is no way to confirm that we want to add it, the system will just stay stuck on that question. See below a screenshot of the error (while using it on the PC, same thing is when using it via mobile app)  

I ran MRP but I can only see demand for production orders that are in “in process” status.  If I look at Inventory → Inventory Allocation Details I can see “Production Demand” which are production orders that are in process.  I can also see “Production Demand Prepared” which are production orders that are in the planned status.  How can see see what is in demand (production orders in process) and see all production orders in “planned status” in MRP

Hi everyone, Is there a way I can change my Item Class from being Stock Item enabled to disable without having this error? I need to change it in a lot of my Item Classes since I realized I need them to be a non-stock items for creating Kit Specifications. Deleting and recreating all their matrix items would be a big problem to me. Thank you.

I am looking for any suggestions on how to handle a common pricing issue for our company.  We are distributor of stone related products for fabricators and end users   We are using Acumatica Distribution edition 2021 R1 (soon to upgrade to 2022 R2)Specifically we want to apply a discount to a product (item id#) where discount is calculated off of default price of the item rather than the unit price entered.Assume we can setup a manual discount code to make this happen (the same logic would be applied to either specific list of SKU’s (items) or possibly and item class.  Again we want to apply a specific discount that brings the unit price down to a specific dollar amount based on the default price for the ITEM ID on the sales order form.An over simplistic but real example would be that the default price is $24.49 for Item “A” and want to bring the price down to $20.23 (which is $4.26 each or 17.4% off).  The discount code setup is easy but the application to the sales order line item is

With the Ship Separately feature turned off, we would like to combine sales orders shipping to the same address into one shipment, which is a feature of Process Orders/Create Shipment.Unfortunately, the combine or not combine logic appears to be based solely on the address id key, rather than the same address data (name, address, city, state, postal code). Our customer often uses the override address on sales orders, rather than create permanent customer locations. Acumatica creates brand new records for each new sales order with an overridden address, even though the address data is exactly the same. The combine shipment feature does not work for us because these override addresses will always have different address id’s, even when the address data is verbatim.Is there anyway to either:Prevent new address record if an existing customer address record matches exactly? Or  Configure combine address logic on Process Orders/Create Shipment to look at the address data rather than the addre

Hi Everyone, Anyone knows this issue? I was trying to make a matrix items with three attribute values.  

I created a Proforma and released it which created an invoice. This invoice was also released and it was in the “Pay” state. Later, I realized that the “Amount to Invoice” was incorrect. So, I created a credit adjustment for that invoice. Now if I run a Billing for the project the “Previously invoiced amount” is incorrect. I tried to go back to the Proforma to “correct” it but it gave me the below error message.   I am not too sure where to go from here. Any ideas? Please and Thank you! 

Our company, for both AP Bills and Purchase Orders, need to have a specific sequence of approvals depending on the dollar amount, and we do not want emails sent to subsequent approvers until the approver before has approved either of the transactions.  I notice on screen EP205000 that is hidden allows for the sequential approvals as wanted, but that the Preference screen look at EP205500 for the approval map which does not include the sequential approvals and also sends all the emails for the needed approvers at one time and allow for an approver to approve the transaction whether lower level approvals have been received or not.  Could it be possible to select which approval screen to use versus being forced to use the EP205500?Also, it would be advantageous to have the Steps on the EP205000 screen similar to EP205500 for the ability to separate the different approvals depending on branches, tenants, etc. 

This is our first private cloud installation and though everything is accessible locally (the install was done on a virtual app server with a connection to a virtual db server), I am unsure of next steps to be able to access acumatica externally via chrome. What would the client or we need to provide/set up in order for the site to be accessible like this?I’m assuming they would need to provide certs for https, purchase a public IP address to bind the site to, and we would just need to configure the site under IIS with that information and the hostname (something like acumatica.customerdomain.com). But I’m unsure about all that and whether there needs to be something needed to be done with the domain. Can someone break this down for me? I don’t have too much experience with this sort of implementation. Thanks in advance!

I have a situation where I would like to conditionally allow users to use the ‘Release’ action on Invoices and Memos, even though their role does not permit them to do it normally. I tried action.SetEnabled(true) and action.SetVisible(true) in the RowSelected event, but this is not working.

I’d like to add a new Activity Type for a customer, but when I click the ‘+’ button, the Class field defaults to “Activity” and I can’t change it.I’d like the Class for the new Type to be “Task” so that the Start Date, Due Date and Reminder fields are available.Is there a way to do this?Thank you!

I used to be able to copy data from fields in a table, like the sales order details, or a generic inquiry. All I had to do was highlight the field in the table and hit CTRL+C. In the 2022 versions, I cannot seem to to do this anymore. Has it been deprecated or do I need to toggle a setting?No one wants to OPEN an invoice, when you just want to Copy the ID from an inquiry, same for Inventory ID’s, etc. Hoping it’s a bug in 2022 R2 or maybe something weird with Windows 11. This is a big loss for a lot of our functions. Thanks!
