Sales Tax on Freight

I am finding that Avalara sales tax is being charged on carrier freight for states where the freight should be exempt.  Is this a Avalara issue or a Acumatica issue ?

Hi @dsimmerly sounds like you might need to setup some rules on Avalara’s end. You could also mark the tax category exempt on the order but this might be a temporary workaround:
