Hi everyone, I’m implementing Requisitions / Purchasing and have run into a problem due to the following requirement: PO receipt needs to have a net 0.00 impact on the GL, because COGS/expense needs to wait until the AP bill is created. But also need subaccount to be editible on the AP bill.  My solution was to put the same account as both PO Accrual and COGS on the non-stock item, so receipt is a wash. If I use the expense account for both, it shows up on the AP bill. But the subaccount is not editable on AP bill if the line is from a receipt. I see the reason for this because the AP bill should always debit the credited account/sub from receipt, but in this case the receipt already offsets itself.  I believe the simplest workaround is to skip receiving since these are non-stock items, but I’ve been told that is not a viable option from their process perspective. Would love to hear any ideas! Thanks!

I just downloaded and published the 25R2 PDF annotator to my instance found on this page:  Publishing seemed to go well, but when I attempt to open Adobe Preferences screen so I can enter my API key, I receive this error:  Error: The view doesn't exist.Anyone else having this issue in 25R2?

Has anyone gotten this error before? I am trying to update standard cost on a local version of acumatica. i have unpublished all customizations, restarted it, and restarted the computer but i keep getting this error. Below is the information from the trace. Im not sure what would be causing this but it wont let me update any costs. Good day. How do we freeze Inventory module in Acumatica 2021 R2 for stock take purpose?

What functionality should I expect from the ShipStation integration? I’ve installed the customization, connected both systems within ShipStation, and started configuring ShipStation in Acumatica. However, I’m struggling to get orders to sync to ShipStation. What needs to be set up in Ship Via? Is a carrier required? I’ve reviewed the user guide from ShipStation but still can’t get the orders to sync. Additionally, will the "Shop for Rates" feature be available with this integration? I haven’t been able to find any clear resources on this—can you help?

Hi everyone, We recently upgraded our system to 2025 R1 a few days ago. I’ve encountered an issue when searching for invoices that have associated credit memos. The search results only display the RM (credit memo) and do not show the original invoice document. I’m not sure if this a bug or not. Can anyone try on your system and leave me a command. Hello Guys,I’m working on an external approval process for my company. It works well. But I found an issue yesterday. When I click Shipment tab in Sales Orders(SO301000) screen, system will pop out an error.I think the reason is I had add three new statuses in Shipment for the approval process.  Anyone knows how to fix this? Hello everyone,Our Balance Sheet shows a Purchase Accrual balance that is almost four times higher than the balance shown on the Purchase Accrual Summary report. I checked the Account Details for the Purchase Accrual account, and there are no manual journal entries posted to this account — all entries are from AP and IN modules. The balance for this account also matches the Trial Balance, including the debit and credit amounts.I also read a similar post on the Acumatica Community and tested all of the suggested steps, but the issue still remains.  I’m not sure where else to look to identify the discrepancy. As mentioned, the variance is quite large — roughly four times higher than the Unbilled Receipts amount.Has anyone encountered a similar issue or have any recommendations on how to troubleshoot and resolve this discrepancy?

I would like to add user-defined field to this screen, but I could not find the option ‘Manage User-Defined Fields’. Is there any way I can go about doing this?

We are running Acumatica 2023r2 23.217.0011.  On the cases GI, we updated the conditions to only show your cases, cases assigned to you, or cases assigned to your workgroups.This is working correctly.Now for filtering on both a dashboard and on the GI, I want to show cases assigned to your workgroups that are opened. For some reason, this shows all cases that have a workgroup assigned. The one test user is not a member of the workgroup or parent workgroup, the filter shows all cases. They have 14 cases, with 9 opened, and it shows 9 on the Status does not equal closed, as well as in this filter. Am I missing something here?

Hello.I have an existing Acumatica Instance deployed on a AWS EC2 Windows Instance and I’m trying to move it to a new AWS instance. I installed the Acumatica Configuration Wizard (using the current version) on the new server and clicked on Deploy a new acumatica Instance. I then connected to my SQL server and chose  the existing database option and selected the database from the list of databases. However after clicking next - an error message appears saying: Database version cannot be empty, but the problem is I don’t see any field where to input the database version. (see attached screenshot).Any help would be greatly appreciated Thanks

When I package a file located in “FrontendSources\screen\src\development\tenant\screens\”, it appears in “Modern UI Files.”The recommendation for new screens that are converted is to place the .ts and .html files in “FrontendSources\screen\src\screens”, but these files do not appear in “Modern UI Files” due to their location.If I move the .ts and .html files of these new screens to “FrontendSources\screen\src\development\tenant\screens\XX/XX000000” and publish them in another instance, the screen is not recognized, and the issue is that after publishing, the screen appears blank.

I am looking to get the “CreatedDateTime” for when a customer was created. From my research i see you can use conditions like @today or @month. However, I cannot get my data to filter to those dates.  When I have this condition turned off; my data pulls and groups correctly.However, lets say I want to see customers orders for customers created in the past month. I know from looking at the data we have two new customers in Oct.I think i may be referencing the wrong table though as I had to pull this info from another GI to see where they pull from. When looking at the audit history of the customer to determine when they were created; the element inspector has it’s data fields blank.  

In a GI, when I join InventoryItem to INLocationStatus and output the InventoryItem.InventoryID and INLocationStatus.LocationID, I get a list of every location that that Item has ever had inventory in, even if that location no longer has inventory in it.Is there a way to clean these up or filter old locations out for a given item without simply excluding QTY zero?

I have clients that are trying to create GIs and work with their GLTran data.  The amount of data in this table has gotten very large over a few years of usage.  It significantly limits the GI filter capabilities as this dataset gets larger.  What options do customers have to create helpful GIs as their dataset gets larger. Here is an example:A client created a GI on just the GLTran table.  There are no table joins.The GI will pull back a record count if the last filter is removed (BETWEEN).  It sometimes pulls back a record count if the two filters with the date range are turned on.This is very frustrating that the filter capabilities become extremely more limited as the dataset gets larger.Does anyone have any suggestions or recommendations as we have experienced this in other places as well?

We have address fields on a lot of paperwork and instead of going through each one and amending the formula, is there a way to format the field.  When we have a number field I know that you can set the format with the number of decibel places in the format box etc, and I'm hoping its the same for text.I have tried just simply adding UCase to the format box but it didn't work.Thanks 

The employer over-withheld pre-tax health insurance.  He then repaid the over deduction by creating an earnings code called additional pay and removing the taxes so the employee was paid the full amount.  This takes care of the employee.  However, the pre-tax deduction is over-stated by this amount.  It appears you cannot enter a negative pre-tax deduction on an adjustment to correct this.  What is the best way to move the additional pay to a reduction in the pre-tax deduction?

Hi, I’m not the most versed with the Project module, but I have a customer who uses projects and has some restriction groups configured to limit access to projects, mostly along branch lines, they have several branches. That part seems to be working, users are only seeing projects that they are assigned to in the restriction group (via project groups).  What he is reporting however is that on the Project Transaction screen, users can see and call up transactions tied to projects that they don’t have access to otherwise.  And his biggest issue is that they can actually Release these transactions as well.   It also looks like they are using that Project Transaction Visibility by Account group and again, that part is working in that it is blocking access to some transaction lines, but he’s saying even with that, it still allows the user to call up the transaction and release it.   I haven’t gone through a full test on this, although I did confirm that I can see the transactions tied to pr

We have a business event that notifies the salesperson every time they are added as a salesperson to a customer. This business event is sending an email notification to the salesperson with the customer that has been assigned to them. The salesperson is currently on the “To” list on the email template, however, they are not receiving the email. Below is an email that was processed: The person on copy is only receiving emails. We are using Users table to pull the salesperson’s email addressNot sure what is causing this to appear blank. Hi Acumatica, I would like to show the report results for only a specific set of subaccounts. A comma separated list as input would be ideal. Is there a way to achieve this? It seems if I enter a start and end subaccount that only shows the numerical order but Id like to have the report shown for a grouping of non-sequential subaccounts.Thanks!!!!  

When I click on CUSTOMIZATION, it doesn't show the standard 'Edit Generic Inquiry' option. How can I modify it to add two additional columns? 

We are looking to utilize our company credit cards more to accumulate rewards.  My issue is - I do not want to lose the vendor history.  For example, we have used a vendor for many years and have always paid by check.  Now we want to pay with a credit card.  How can I do this?  The library says the “vendor” needs to be the credit card company.  But I want the vendor to stay as it has been.  Can I add “Credit Card” as a payment option?  And if so, then how does it work when I need to pay the credit card balance?  Thank you in advance for any insight!!

We are using only the distribution edition of Acumatica, and our pick list does not print the components for kits. Is there any setting, like enable or disable, to activate the option? 

Hello all.  We are currently about to roll out the Request and Requisiton process for Purchase Orders.  I’ve been trying to figure out how to link the Requested By of the Request to the PO.  We want to see who submitted the request on the Purchase Order screen and the Purchase Order Report.  But I am having a hard time figuring out the connections.  Has anyone does this before?
