Hello all, we have a client that currently heavily deals with kits within kits. Is this something that Acumatica can handle without modifying it?

Yes, a kit specifications recipe can include stock items that were built as a kit in Acumatica prior. There is no limit for how many times you can do this.

How is this done?

I am in the Kit Specification Screen in 25R1 and none of the current Kits are listed in the drop down as a part to select for addition to the kit specification.

All the parts are marked as a kit that are to go in the kit. I am trying to see if I can add an existing kit into a new kit as a component.

Hi @cramesh00 !

I understand you are adding Kits as components of a Kit and the components do not appear for selection.

From my review, Non-Stock Kits cannot be inside a Kit Specification.

So, if you are adding a Kit Item through “Non-Stock Components” they will not appear (at least in 2025R1):

However, it is possible to have nested Stock Kits through “Stock Components”:

I hope this helps!
