I’ve been asked to bring in some historical/static data from a legacy system for a new Acumatica customer.  Going to be using it for reference only via GIs I figure if needed.  Some of it is quite detailed, many fields, etc.  I was going to create and load new Acumatica tables to hold the data and then I realized to use the import scenarios I need a screen name.  For my purposes, I don’t' need a screen necessarily.  Is there anyway in Acumatica to load data directly into a table from a file, the files at the moment are given to me as tab delimited text files, without having a screen in Acumatica?   I’m not a SQL expert, but I’m presuming the tables could be loaded directly via SQL commands, but wondering if I’m missing something..

After the upgrade to 2022R2, we started having an issue with quick checks for one particular branch, the error appears when users save the checks.Based on the error message, it looks like the issue is related to the Approval Map. Double checked the map, no visible issues with it. Any suggestions are highly appreciated. Thank you!

I’m trying to create a bank extract file (similar to an ACH export) that has one header, summary payment records and invoice detail records. This works perfectly when I have one payment, even when I have multiple invoices paid by that payment. Attached file 1 has desired results.When I have multiple payments, the payment records are mostly correct, but the invoice detail is not. See File 2.I’ve also attached my export format file and the exported XML from the Export Scenario.All help is greatly appreciated.

Where is the outstanding checks report? I can’t find in Acumatica. 

I know on your computer you can run the Command Prompt, type ping, leave a space, and then enter the instance URL but I was wondering if there are other IP addresses to be aware of.

With some basic modifications in workflows. Could you generate an inter-company PO from a shipment? essentially have this step prior to shipment confirmation?Something like Customer <<— SO-0001 in Branch 1 —> Generate Shipment —> Create Inter-company PO from shipment —> Generate SO in Branch 2 from PO —> Process SO-0002 in branch 2 and PO Receipt —> Confirm Shipment for SO-0001 — > standard Acumatica processes in shipping from Branch 1.                            

We’re at the beginning stages of implementation as a manufacturing company. It’s being suggested that we set the Inventory I.D. for stock items, when applicable, to the original manufacturer part number instead of using our own internal part number (as the primary index). We will be creating our own part numbers for all inventory items regardless of if there’s a MPN. It has been our expectation from the outset that we’d set our internal number for the Inventory I.D. This seems to make the most sense to us, however we’re being told “the norm” is to use MPN’s.Is this the way others have set their system up? Can anyone help explain the rationale for why this is the norm and should be done?Thanks!

We have several kits and each kit has several finished products and is sold as a combo.I want to add these individual SKU’s in the kit to the total number of sales of that particular SKU. For Example, A kit with SKU Number 20000 contains 3 finished products 001, 002, 003. If 50k of this kit was sold and 50k of 001 SKU was sold as individual SKU, the total sales of 001 would be 100k. The current system generates reports and GI’s that separate the sales of 20000 and 001 as 50k each.It there a way to add these for multiple kits? 

Hi all,I’m modifying the stock Location Labels report to a format that will better fit the labels we want to use. I wasn’t smart enough to keep a print out of the original report, but it basically outputs two columns of location labels. If you haven’t seen it, think of it like this:Location 1 Location 2 Location 3 Location 4 Location 5 Location 6 Honestly I kind of hacked and slashed the report, removing all of the objects on the right side as well as adding a barcode and some other stuff, to where it only outputs one location label per page. All of my additions and changes work, except the report still behaves as if it had the second column, and when I request a range of locations it gives me the equivalent of Location 1, Location 3, Location 5, etc. If I start the range on Location 2, it will then give me Location 4, Location 6, etc.I’m sure there’s probably a simple answer here, but I have a case of Friday burnout and this is kicking my butt. I created a very simple parallel approval on projects based on branch.  There are two identical steps, the only difference being the employees who can approve the quotes.  After that are two steps relating to other branches.No approvals are being generated at all.  Am I missing something or is it a bug?   The second step for Suzanne is identical to the step for Danie except for her employee code.The same concept in PO’s is working.

Hi All, I am currently working on a Business Event that creates a Transfer of Production Material when the Production Order is released. (basically imitating a Staging process that is currently not supported very well). The Business Event is not firing with my current Setup.Only for with Once for all Records which then doesn’t accommodate the Material Details I need for the Transfer.Business Event:  Generic Inquiry it is based on:  I am not quite sure why it is not firing but any ideas and help would be appreciated!The same Setup worked for me for creating automated Transfer based on a Released Purchase Receipt.

Hi I’m trying to create a table and trying to add lines betweens the line items by styling individual textboxes with borders, the issue here is the lines are not printing continuously when the description is getting longer than 2 lines. (ex: line 5 & 6)I tried to resolve it by styling pannel but same issue repeats.Is there any better way to add lines without wasting space.  

I need assistance determining how to automate the process of taking a completed (i.e. shipped and invoiced) sales order that imports in from a 3rd party application to a sales invoice. Inventory is not being tracked and under Sales Order PreferencesHowever, the sales invoices are not posting on the shipment date, but the date the order is being processed in Acumatica. I want to use the Quick Process function but was told by the consultants that this feature cannot be used if the sales invoice needs to be posted on the shipment date. How do I automate this with the release date the shipment date? 

hello folks so i have a service which is supposed to create an InventoryIssue using IN302000, with the help of an API call on a custom endpoint:I didn’t find an existing Contract , so I created an custom one named InventoryIssue, quite similar to InventoryReceipt.different actions and details:And I tried this PUT call in Postman:put inventoryIssue request: The response is what I expected, with a ReferenceNbrbut when I try the POST for ReleasingFromHold with this ReferenceNbr as parameter, it does not remove the hold of that specific ReferenceNbr, rather it creates a new Issue,POST req with the ReferenceNbr, response is 204.this is what the necessary actions look like  I have been following the integration development guide till now to create the different entities and details. So if anyone can help me figure out why me calling the ReleaseFromHold does not removes hold from the previous PUT request, but rather create a new InventoryIssue?
