Hello! I’m trying to configure a business event that will look at a customer’s monthly sales vs last months sales and generate a task for a sales rep to follow up on. I am running into issues because my GI uses a formula to note the accounts with declining sales and there’s a grouping by account (GI looks at invoices and is summing by account). Both formulas and groupings are on the list of things to avoid when building a business event. Anyone have any ideas on how to look at this type of data and trigger the business event that will actually work? Thanks!

How does one delete unreleased budget lines.Example: I imported $1 per month for a specific accountI release it.I now update the $1 to $2 per month. I realised I made a mistake, and want to delete this $2 upload. How do I do that? Currently the system errors , because there was a previous released article. I can't Upload zero, because it also wants to be released and then I zero out everything, which I don't want.

Every time when user scan something in the Pick, Pack, and Ship mobile app, the bottom menu pops up and blocks the info they need. After every scan, they have to swipe the menu down. Is there any way to disable the bottom menu pops up?Thanks in advance.     

Hello community,I have come up with a scenario, where I would like to record a security deposit along with prepayments.So for eg: if I have an equipment to rent with rental price of 100$. And I want the customer to prepay (200%) of the complete rental price along with the security deposit. So Rental price = 100$ and Deposit = 100%. But I dont want the security deposit to be recorded into books as I would then be refunding the deposit completely. How can we achieve this in Acumatica?Thanks in advance.

We are working on a process where we are seeking to take a part already in inventory in Acumatica and move it out of the system to ship to a vendor for rework. Upon the rework the part will be modified by the vendor and assume alternate part number nomenclature. We are attempting to move move for instance part 12345 out of inventory to the vendor and receive part 678910 back as the new modified part. We can easily enter a PO line referencing the new inventory ID which will be received in upon modification but are struggling with withdrawing the current part from inventory. I attempted entering a PO for qty. "negative value" to show the withdrawal of the part but the system is not allowing me to do so. What is the Acumatica advised practice for sending parts out to rework which are already in inventory and need to be withdrawn?

Any ideas on how to update the operations ID on the BOM? We need to change it from the value of ‘01’ to ‘0010.’ Every operation ID is line number 1. Thanks ahead!

Is there a way to have the SOOrders.CreateDateTime show both the Date and the Time in a Generic Inquiry.

I have two selectors on a form, the first selects a Branch and the second selects a Warehouse within that Branch.I have CommitChanges = true and AutoRefresh=True so when the user invokes the selector the correct set of Warehouses is displayed.However, if the user selects the Branch and then tabs to the Warehouse field and starts to type, the auto-complete values are still using the old Branch value.It’s not a big deal but I would like to know if there is a way to make the auto-complete logic to refresh itself as well so the user can stay on the keyboard.

Hi I have seen many examples of PXAction being used in conjunction with PXAdapter to get the main DAC from the table the PXAction button is on.  This helps in getting calls from Process screens to an Action button.  So in my case the SOOrder Table is available and I need more.  Is there a way to get the SOLine current record as well using PXAdapter, in the same method the main DAC is accessible?   Keep in mind this is all for a process screen and needs to be Static: No Base or this or the like? Thanks in advance. 

Hi Community, I would like to map the conversion rate of our sales opportunities in a general query.I think the only way to do this is to include a formula in the Inquiry Data Field (Result Grid).The formula is 100 * (All opportunities / won opportunities).Unfortunately I have a problem how to map the formula with the data fields. Do you have a tip, or have you already implemented the formula elsewhere?Thanks a lot!

Hi Acumatica Forum -  First - I’ll call out that I’m new here. If I am posting in the wrong place (or posting something obvious), please let me know.  Now, getting to business. I’m trying to use acumatica to do some pricing calculations and updates automatically. I’m finding it to be quite limiting. I’m curious how other retail locations use acumatica and how they update prices.  Specific things I’m trying to do: Rounding - I’m trying to implement basic rounding rules (i.e., all prices need to end in $X.99) Pricing Overrides - setting up prices that aren’t automatically repriced  Pricing Experiments - setting up a control and treatment group (at the item level) to see how much customers respond to select price decreases (by shifting purchasing).  Pricing alarms - for example, sending an email if we sell an item below cost. At this point, we’re doing pricing through downloaded spreadsheets. But there is no way that will be sustainable in the long-term.  Thanks!David

 I have a question about controlling in manufacturing. Do you know if and how a cost allocation / distribution to an order can be done. Our customer determines overheads based on statistical value when creating a production order. But these are theoretical costs and a kind of pre-calculation.Is it possible to assign actual costs after post-calculation/ after completed Production Order ? Thank you in advance. 

Hello All, I have a customization that programmatically downloads the attachments to a local folder “C:\Temp”. It works fine on my local environment but when I publish it to the cloud it doesn’t download to the expected path. In fact, it shows the process is completed successfully but I guess it uses the server’s local path instead of the user’s local machine. Any idea how I can fix this?

Hi, I am trying to combine/group certain work centers into 1 data group for a bar graph widget on a dashboard.  We used the Work Center Dispatch GI and need all the work centers pulled but in the dashboard view I want to group work centers together so for example all of the Harness work centers (rework, harness test, etc) all group together as 1 bar on the graph.    I tried Conditions in the GI but am limited there.   Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hi AllMay i know when we do receiving the inventory in system, can we change the date same as supplier invoice date?Example: Supplier invoice date  30 July 2023  , When we received the goods , the date is 3 Aug 2023. When the time we enter and do the receiving for the goods is 3 Aug 2023 in system. Can we change the date same as the supplier invoice date 30 July 2023 when do receiving so that i can align with the payment term and due date in payable module.Thank you

We are in the metals industry, and one of the somewhat unique aspects of our business from an ERP perspective is that sometimes we will cut pieces of material that we sell into smaller pieces, per our customer’s request. So as a simple example, let’s say you have a 20ft x 20 ft piece of aluminum plate, and the customer asks for a piece that is 16ft x 18ft. We will cut that plate to size, and then have a remainder (what we call a remnant or a piece) that is left over. Sometimes we will directly scrap this remainder (not keep it around), and other times we will keep it on hand and sell it to another customer, or use it to cut another piece for a customer who may require a size smaller than that previously cut piece. We need to maintain heat/lot tracking of these pieces from the parent item.Does anyone have any clever ideas about the best way to program this in Acumatica? Please help us configure discounts to achieve these five goals: Customer Price Classes with 10%, 15% and 18% discounts on some, but not all, Item Classes.   Volume Price Discounts of 10% for aggregate purchases of $2,000 from specified Item Classes and discounts of 15% for aggregate purchases of $3,500 from specified Item Classes.  Products from any of the specified Item Classes count to achieving the volume purchase levels. n   The customer would get the higher of the Customer Price Discount or the Volume Discount, but not both.  In other words, the customer gets the higher / better of the discounts and cannot “stack” the discounts.    No matter what discount applies, the discount amount is booked on the GL so we can track discounts.   The amount of the discount shows on the invoice so the customer can see it. Your ideas and help are greatly appreciated.  

after upgrading from 2020 R1 to 2023R1 the access rights and the restrictions have been missed up and ruined is there any documentation or any solution for this problem or anyone got this issue before?the sales people can see all the sales orders and the transfers but in the old version they were prevented from seeing the orders and the transfers that arent related to their branch.
