Good day,I am having little trouble getting the Unit Cost function to work.  Can someone direct me to the security access area.  Or is something else.  It doesnot allow me to put a pending cost and data.  I have a number stock items that need updating.Thank you@Evan G  

From my understanding, an order status cannot be set when creating a sales order via the API? Would this have to be done by updating the order? We are importing orders from a shopping cart, and so we need to be able to set the sales order status according to the order status. For example, if it has a payment, but that has been flagged by our processor, I need to have those orders set to Hold in Acumatica (they are set to Open by default since they have a payment attached). If it can’t be set at the time of SO creation, how would it be updated via the API?

How do I partially pay an AP vendor? 

We have a customer that needs to be able to issue materials using the Scan Materials and then after the production run is completed, return the balance from the Production Order to inventory.  There is a remove function on the Scan Materials form but it only appears to work within an existing batch.  Entering a negative number causes an error that something else has updated the batch record.  If all of the material was issued initially, the user gets a message that the inventory would go negative when the Item Number is entered and does not allow you to advance to the Qty to return or remove.Has anyone else created a customized Scan Materials form that allows the user to return materials from a Production Order?  The Materials will be lotted items as well.

Hi everyone,I was wondering if anyone knows of a way to keep the Sales Order status ‘Open’ after creating shipment?We use either create shipment, or quick process, to create shipment, confirm shipment, and print shipping confirmation - But want to go back and update details on the SO such as price and CustomerOrderNbr after the order has shipped.TY in advance!

Hi Allhappy to be part of this amazing community I have a question in the SO you can see i have a value on this custom field i mapped it from Salesforce   but when i call this Order using /SalesOrder?$custom=document.attributeCPQORDNBR&$filter=OrderType eq 'SO'  and OrderNbr eq 'SO0016632'&$top=100 this is the response it showing Null even i have a value as you can see in the 1st image i don’t know why Thanks 

Hi: I'm trying to create a GI of Invoiced Items, but I want to separate the items by an attribute.  The GI is going to be summarized by Sales Rep and the Sales would be in 3 Columns. Attribute1 Value1, Attribute1 Value2 and Attribute1 Value 3. I create a formula like: =IIf( [InventoryItem.COMI_Attributes]='VO5', [ARTran.ExtPrice], 0.00), it validates.  but when I run the GI I got this error. Error: The virtual field COMI_Attributes cannot be used in a condition expression. How can I get my GI to work.  Thanks Jesus.

Am I just missing it, or is there no way to add Premium Freight to an SO in the mobile app?  I’ve looked everywhere but can’t find it, which seems like a strange omission. If not, does anyone have a customization for mobile that adds it?

I have an export scenario created of a GI results screen that includes the default price, cost, and qty available of stock items. However, when the export scenario is run, the CSV file that it produces includes a bunch of trailing zeroes. (Example: A default price of $1349.00 turns into 1349.000000)Is there any way to remove all of the trailing zeroes from being included in these results? The actual GI results don’t display any trailing zeroes, it only shows up in the Export Scenario. GI results: Export scenario: 

Hello Everyone, We are currently evaluating Acumatica for our company, which does both Distribution(Warehousing, etc) and we are also a Manufacturers Rep - which means we quote customers on behalf of a manufacturer, and then we submit the customers order to the Principal(Manufacturer) on the customers behalf. The manufacturer then pays us a commission which is then paid out to the salesman who handles that territory.  Has anyone implemented a sales process similar to that within Acumatica?  I know that Acumatica has a vast level of customizability with Web servies and/or AddOns etc, but just wanted to get some opinions on using this software for a business process like I’ve described. Thanks!

Restriction groups seem to behave differently with project account groups than they do for GL accounts.In the GL, you cannot see the balance of a restricted account or any associated transaction. In the Project module, if you have a restriction on an account group, you can still see the balance of that account group from the Balances tab, but you cannot check the transaction details.I reviewed the documentation to see if this is by design, but couldn’t find any mention of that. One of our customers is relying on this behaviour but I warned them this may be an oversight and that the behaviour could change in the future.I wanted to check here before opening a support ticket in the portal.

Hi all, I need to customize the process logic for a selected action in the Print/Email Orders screen. Currently, the action defined in SOOrderEntry graph is executed separately for each selected order when the process button is clicked. However, I want to process all the selected orders at once according to some logics.Can someone guide me on how to execute the action for all selected orders at once instead of processing them separately? Which method should I override to achieve this?Any help or suggestions would be highly appreciated. Thanks

I’m looking to see if there are any updates to a standard type PO when I create a normal PO and associate them but it looks like nothing happens to the standard one. The only reference I see is on the normal PO. I was thinking it might keep track of qtys similar to a blanket but looks like a standard is just a template and can be either be open or close. Anyone have different thoughts?

Our current process is to create a Lead complete with New Contact and Business Name.We desire to default Lead Owner to Operator entering the Lead as well default respective New Business Account and Contact Owner from Lead Owner.Is there a way to setup Acumatica to accomplish this ?I have both entered Leads manually and from Import Scenario, setting Owner manually, converting to Business Account and Contact without the Owner copying over. 

The user is confirming the shipments automatically upon the write-back after shipping in StarShip and they would like the Shipment Confirmation to print at that point.I need to print the Shipment Confirmation form (via Device Hub if needed) when the Shipment status changes to Confirmed.Thanks

Wondering if anyone can offer some insight here.  I was working on adding screen SO509000 to the mobile app and I was having an issue with the site map schema which I have since figured out. When I went back in to create a new customization of the mobile app by adding SO509000 screen I am getting the following error: ‘The 'SO509000' screen is already used in the current customization project. Select another screen.’The issue is that I have unpublished and deleted the original customization project that had this screen in it. Since then I have attempted the following. I have unpublish all of our customizations and republished the ones that are relevant and verified that the screen SO509000 is not being used in any other customizations. Additionally, I can still see the initial object that was created on the mobile app even without a customization or a Mobile Workspace telling this to be here. I have tried to reset the Mobile Workspaces to the defaults as well.  It would appear that the

Hello everyone,I published POS 2021 R2 version on my ERP 2021 R2, made all necessary configurations  but on the pos orders after pressing the PROCESS button its supposed to take me to a screen to print the receipt but its not doing so. If I press the REPRINT RECEIPT button, no action is triggered.The payment created is also left status: open instead of closed. I’m not able to find solution to this.Kindly assistALL responses will be highly appreciated.Thank you.  

Hi everyone,I’m using a generic inquiry to trigger a business event. The business event then has a custom data provider as a subscriber to send data to a remote API.Whilst this is mostly working, I’m trying to use the GI field “Captions” to provide a known name for columns that may have a function attached (or if the user wants to customise the column names). At the moment in the EventAction’s Process(MatchedRow[] eventRows, CancellationToken cancellation) method, Captions aren’t pulled through from the GI, only the original field names or randomly generated names for the columns containing functions.I’d like to be able to get hold of the GI that triggered the business event so I can retrieve the caption names for some of the fields.Is there a way to get a reference to the triggering object (in this case a GI) within the “Process” method or elsewhere?Many thanks
