We’ve been using Power BI to connect to Generic Inquiries via OData for the past year. All of the sudden in the past few days we’ve received the following error message in Power BI: Anyone know what might be causing this and how to resolve the issue?I found this article that references a similar issue, but none of our GIs have a period (.) in the name so the solve offered in the article isn’t helpful in this case.

Hello, I am trying to write a GI that allows me to see the Default payment method and cash account for all vendors, and I am struggling to get there.Would anyone know which table i need to relate in order to show that? I am using the default Vendor GI as a starting point.

We’re using Shopify with AvaTax both in Acumatica and on Shopify.The sales orders come in fine with the correct tax and the correct state on the tax tab (i.e. if shipping to NJ, it will calculate NJ). However when it get’s to the invoice it recalculates the tax based on our warehouse (SC)

Does anyone know what causes the error.  I am using the Change ID function in receivables and I get this GL Error when I go to save the chage.

We are having this error when opening ComboxBox for Substatus under default workflow for Cases.Initially we thought customization could be causing the issue, we have unpublished the customization but are having the same issue again. Error suggests the key value cannot be null, we have checked the values and can see a null value, but there is no option to delete it. Have looked on project.xml for deleting the null value , but unfortunately don’t see this null value.

\Clock Entry Screen with ErrorI have an employee who clocked in and somehow the system clocked him in over 45 days ago.  Now...we cannot clock out and get an error message saying that the value is too lage (probably) for an Int32 field.  Normally we would clock the employee out and fix the clock entries on the Approve Clock Entries screen.  Any suggestions?  We’ve had to create a temporary employee for this employee to use while we figure this out.

Hello,Our customer has set up multiple system emails for different users in Sales, Accounts etc. But a default email is not set. I am wondering how emails when recovering password would be sent. Appreciate if the importance of having a separate default system email could be explained.Thank you

Hi guys,I’ve noticed that there’s Pending Approval Notification for EMP Time Cards, but we want another notification working as following: whenever a time card is rejected, the owner/Employee should receive an email that he/she should check the reason, revise it accordingly and resubmit. So far I couldn’t find it anywhere in “Time & Expenses Preferences”. Is it possible to achieve it?Thanks.

Hi,We are currently trying to create an import scenario to Reclassify Transactions - depending on the external ref / transaction description, the GL should be reclassified to specific branches. Looking for some help to get the import scenario working.Note that we cannot use the screen filters normally, since they only allow for one condition at a time, and no conditional replace. Doing it manually means to load, replace and process hundreds of unique refs/descriptions each one at a time.The import scenario is as follows:Current just trying to get the Load Transactions button working, so we have deactivated the other steps, but we are running into unspecified view errors. The data provider is not used.

I have a customer with a very highly customized Sales Order Invoice form and needs to find a solution for improving the performance of printing the report.  The customizations are specific to an Order Type - format 1 prints for “RO” orders and format 2 prints for all other order types. Creating 2 unique report formats is one option however we would like a solution where the system automatically selects the correct report when the print action is selected.Please let me know if you have any ideas.Thanks!!Michelle

Hi All.I want the system to refresh the currency rate from EUR to CHF daily automatically. So I created an automation schedule of “Refresh Currency Rates”. It is being executed at the scheduled time, but there’s no processed reocrd (see below). Could someone please tell me what’s wrong? Thanks!And the settings are the following: 

Is it possible to change the account group type? I set up an account group that was linked to all asset accounts, but the type was listed as expense, and now I am unable to change it to asset. Is there a way to adjust this?

Hello.  Is an extension project required for use in the workflow API?  I don’t see this question answered in the training class, although it’s example uses the extension library.  When building a workflow code file for use in the website App_Runtime folder (instead of a .Net library), an error happens in a transition.  I’m unsure if the ambiguity is legitimate or not.  

Has anyone tried to concatenate a barcode for the Scan Move form?  For example, I would like to concatenate Production Nbr & Operation & Quantity into one bar code.  I attempted to modify the Production Ticket with Barcode and attemped these codes for starters: =[AMProdItem.ProdOrdID]+'<CR>'+[AMProdOper.OperationCD]=[AMProdItem.ProdOrdID]+'Chr(13)'+[AMProdOper.OperationCD]=[AMProdItem.ProdOrdID]+'Chr(19)'+[AMProdOper.OperationCD]=[AMProdItem.ProdOrdID]+’\n’+[AMProdOper.OperationCD]=[AMProdItem.ProdOrdID]+’\r’+’\n’+[AMProdOper.OperationCD] I obviously don’t know what I’m doing trying to code the carriage return / pause/break / line feed to make it work with the Scan Move form.  The codes above do combine it into one barcode, but the issue is whether I can code something into the barcode that pauses for a second while the Scan Move form moves on to the next prompt.
