Is anyone familiar with how Acumatica handles the following scenario?We sell services such as "maintenance," "warranties," or "bundled products," where it's not possible to recognize the entire revenue at the point of sale.For instance, let's consider a warranty that covers one year, priced at USD 1,200. The revenue from the sale should be distributed as USD 100 per month. what is the actual process in Acumatica system?

Dear ALL,I have created an Email Account in “System Email Accounts” screen just to implement the Automation Notifications email feature for the newly created Case.   We would like to disable sending Email feature from Sales Order screen and all other screens. Hi, I am working on a Report to print Time Cards base on the entry done in Employee Time Card Entry, Screen ID = EP305000 . I am prompting for the beginning & ending weeks using the view name: =Report.GetFieldSchema('EPTimeCard.WeekID')When I use the search, I get columns, Week, Start, End, Description & WeekID. I cannot seem to find the table that these are stored in or defined. I need to print the description, or the start date of the beginning week that is selected. So, I need to find a way to link from the parameter to a table to get the description Any ideas? Thank you in advance!

Customer has device hub and printers configuredCustomer has a custom PO receiving report to print to a specific paper printer.Is there a setting so that the report will always print to specific device hub printer ?Currently the report prints to the screen and then the browser / windows is used to select the printerI found help for the User Profile / Printer Setting Tab (pageid=8430c8b2-a79c-4f7b-9768-b0b7fad23a59) that says:  In this table, you can list reports that you regularly print and specify the default printer to be used when you print each of these reports. When you print a report from the list, the system uses the assigned printer.I was not able to set a ‘default printer’ as described in this help.  What am I missing?     

I have a customer going live next week and we need to bring in their beginning inventory.Normally, this is a simple Inventory Receipt, but they’re using lot/serial attributes (the latest customization for 2023R1).It looks like I need to load the inventory in 2 steps:Create an Inventory Receipt record to add the item, qty and lot numbers Use an import to update the those inventory records with the lot attributesThe reason I think it needs to be 2 steps is because lot attributes can’t be added to a Receipt record until the record is saved (the attribute fields don’t become available until after the save).However, my import is failing with the very informative error below: I’ve come to realize that this doesn’t really mean that there is a problem with an attribute value but rather it’s an issue with the import structure.Has anyone successfully imported lot/serial attributes? I am working on a GI to pull Customer information. This information will be used to update another system. I have the GI pulling all the information with the exception of the Customer’s SHIP-TO ADDRESS (found on the AR303000 screen under the SHIPPING TAB). I have tried the Inspect Element function and it showsI can not figure out the corresponding table and Address ID field to use to pull the Ship-To information.Thank you for any assistance.

We are currently migrating form Sage 300 CRE to Acumatica. We are wondering how can we best translate to Acumatica our Sage 300 CRE Account definition. In Sage 300 CRE, we use a suffix for example: 31000.001 The first 5 digits (31000) - Account The last 3 digits (001) - is our suffix (department, company, project, etc)

I’ve been updating the user access to the GL Accounts tabs (view-only) on the Customers, Customers Classes, Stock/Non-stock item, etc. I was able to find most of the GL Accounts and Subaccounts fields on most screens except for the Customers screen.Under the Access Right By Screen > Receivables > Customers > Customers, I can only find the Cash Discount and Prepayment fields listed. Where can I find the rest of the fields?  Thank you,

Is there a way to add in a custom Function (C#) into a Generic Inquiry. I remember reading a blog post at a time where this was explained but I cant find it or this is not possible anymore.any guides or post about this will be helpfulthanks

We’re working through our implementation of the Advanced Planning and Scheduling module. We’ve successfully setup a few BoMs, Machines, Calendars, etc AND have managed to schedule test orders with predictable results. several wins all around BUT there’s something we might be missing… Threaded Scheduling ( I made that name up )When scheduling a large order where individual Operations span multiple days we’ve noticed that it’s all scheduled logically as one long plan, not ideal for our environment. Let’s try this scenario...Assumptions : Operation 1 references a Work Center that resides in Warehouse A. Operation 2 references a Work Center that resides in Warehouse A, though we may opt to move Operation 2 into a different Warehouse within the same building.Scenario : We need to make 100 widgets and the BoM has two Operations. What’s the best way to add an index to an existing table that’s a third-party table?It’s a table with an auto-increment field as it’s primary key (along with CompanyID). But when I look at the underlying views, the code is querying the table using non-indexed fields. I don’t have time, at the moment, to reach out to the third-party to suggest that they add a key to make the lookups faster mostly because I won’t have time to integrate any patch from them into my code base at this point even if they agree.So I was thinking of adding a non-unique key on the fields that I see the view using.Should I just add a SQL script to my customization project to add the index if it isn’t already in place?Or is there a more official way that I should do this?

I’m a little confused with the OAuth logout method. I have the login/token method working, but once the token is issued and the api’s are finished do I need to post a logout? Or can I continue to use that token for subsequent calls. Also, if I need to logout, what do I pass? I see the methods in the videos about Postman, but I’m using Power Automate Desktop actions for the automation. Thanks!

What is the best practice to pay employees for a holiday that was not setup in the work calendar Exceptions? At the time of setup, the customer missed informing us that Easter is a paid holiday. It wasn’t setup therefore we now need to get this holiday paid to the employees.  We are thinking about using Paychecks and Adjustments entry with check type = Special. Can you confirm best practice?  Also, since Easter holiday and some others float around to different dates, is it understood that we should adjust the Work Calendar Exceptions list at the beginning of a new year for the upcoming years’ proper holiday dates? Thank you much!Amy

Is it possible to take photos on an appointment and save it onto the target equipment selected for that appointment? Our guys don't have access to the equipment module on their tablets and at the moment we have to take photos on the appointment and manually move them to the appropriate target equipment.
