I have a user that personalized a dashboard and wants to share it with other users. Since the Allow Users to Personalize box is checked, is creating a new dashboard and adding the same widgets the only way to share? I haven't found another way.

HI TeamWe have a requirement where we want to override the ChangeID button in customer screen and need to update the CustomerID value through code. Hi,I am completing the financial training for Acumatica and I am thoroughly confused by the refund process. According to the training manual, this is the general flow: So, according to this, when you release a refund it increases cash and increases AR?  I do not understand this at all.  Refunds decrease cash.  I have no idea why an AR account is involved.  You now have:an entry increasing cash that will not be reflected in the bank statements and will be impossible to reconcile An entry increasing AR when no invoice was issued.  This would impact your cash audit trail, distort AR and cash balances, mess up your reconciliations, and possibly circumvent cash controls.   They’d all have to be needlessly restated or reclassified in the ledger to correct them.In addition,  when you apply it to a prepayment (the second red box), it reduces customer deposits, assuming it’s properly classified as a liability, and decreases cash?  Why?  Normal sales refunds have nothing to do with customer depo

How do I crteate a GI that tells me if an account has an email address or not? I am in the Customer record (AR.30.30.00) and under ADDITIONAL ACCOUNT INFO there is an ACCOUNT EMAIL. Sometimes this is blank, and we need to know which accounts we need to contact to get the ACCOUNT EMAIL. We will then want to sort and filter this by SALESPERSON.   

I have 3 Financial reports, consolidated, company and branch. They use the same Row Sets & Column Sets but the results are different, as is expected.They do not use Unit Sets.Where do you set the parameters to run report for a Company or a Branch or Consolidated across companies.Any help would be appreciated - I just can’t find the setting.Many thanks in advance.

I'm encountering an email related issue  with two users who have identical permissions. Both users have access to the Sales Order module (and all other permissions match) and are attempting to send emails from the Sales Order screen using the "Send Email" button. However, the behavior differs between the two users.One user, upon clicking the "Send Email" button, is presented with a popup containing an email template where they can edit sender information, recipient details, and compose a message. Meanwhile, the other user experiences no response upon clicking the same button, even after ensuring that pop-up blockers are disabled.To investigate further, I logged in as both users on my machine, and indeed, observed the discrepancy in interaction behavior. Additionally, I have reviewed all email settings to ensure that neither user has automated emails configured.Lastly we are working in 2023 R2 currently for an upgrade.    I have a Batch Size that is pulling the total order quantity and resizing calculating it down to the formula amount of 180 kg batch size. I have set up a parameter for Batch Size as an option to add a custom batch size and I need help on the logic; if no Batch Size is entered into the Run Report Page then calculate the normal formula batch size. But if we add a custom batch, let's say 160 kg, then it should calculate the ingredients based upon 160 kg. I'm having a problem finding the correct operator on the IIF expression for the custom batch size.

I am looking to find a way to view which Sales Orders in a time frame (next 30/60/90 days, or a set timeframe, etc) have line items that do not have sufficient inventory in stock at time the report is generated. For example, if I have 100 pieces of Item A in inventory, and each of the next three weeks has a Sales Order with 50 pieces scheduled to ship, I want to be able to look at “Next 30 days SO without Inventory” and see that third SO show up as lacking inventory. Basically, I’m looking for a quick summarized way to remind us to schedule certain production orders.Currently, this is done manually in a couple ways, firstly by noting at time of SO creation whether there is sufficient inventory and flagging items that require production, and secondly by periodically reviewing the Inventory Allocation Details report for high-volume parts to ensure multiple at-the-time-stocked items don’t get added to multiple Sales Orders leaving us short on some.We are building up to a

We frequently create and consume Serial # tracked items into other production orders. I have looked around and can’t find any way to find out if an Serial # has been consumed into another Parent Serial #. I figured out how to see if an order has a consumed Serial # with the Lot/Serial Hierarchy report but I need to go the other way. Ideally a GI of Serial #s and there matching Parent Serial # if applicable.

HiI have a challenge with reason codes in stock issue screen.My customer is a farming concern and have several sub accounts which need to absorb stock issue cost being fertilizer or chemicals, etc.Why can one not choose an account and sub account on this graph. We now have to create hundreds of reason codes representing account and subaccount combinations. its not practical. when you in the issue screen on the reason code field and one start typing for a quick search suggestion, the only value that it runs on is the reason code itself, not the description and not the account and not the subaccount either. If the suggestive search could run on description it can help already.I will appreciate some advice on this please. thank you

Hi All,Just to give details about the Problem I am facing here, the process my customer is using is that they receipt inventory and store inventory. They distribute this inventory  to different internal warehouses. Each inventory is consumed so an IN ISSUE is raised for this when the goods are consumed.We have different posting classes assigned to each inventory classes which in turn has the COGS account.I have noticed when I raise an issue it uses reason code “ISSUE” GL account code when a GL batch is created. I can create different reason codes for each item class but then user will need to select the right reason code based on each line item and its associated reason code linking account which makes it difficult double entry.Can anyone suggest a better alternative please?can we force the system to use posting class when an ISSUE is raised.Happy to have a discussion and provide more details if necessary.Please see an example below. 

Question  Where is LocationID field we see in our error message, and how can we stop it being empty? Overview Our system attempts to create Appointments for Service Orders via the Acumatica API. Hello Community,I am hoping to get some assistance with setting up budgets in Acumatica. I'm trying to define the budget amount for an account using a subaccount mask, but I can't seem to find a way to do this directly in the Budget form. The form only allows entering a specific subaccount, not a mask.We have a large number of accounts and subaccounts with six level segment ID. Even if we use only two segment IDs, it will exceed 20,000 lines in preparation. Manually creating budget entries for each individual subaccount would be incredibly time-consuming and impractical.Does anyone know of a way to define the budget amount using a subaccount mask in Acumatica?I've searched the documentation and haven't found a clear solution. Is there a preferred method for adding a restocking fee to an RC return order? Our thought was to create a “RESTOCKFEE” non-stock item and add it to the RC with a negative amount to subtract the fee from the return. Does this make sense, or is there a better way to go about this?

Is it possible for the vendor ID number to be auto generated with the first 3 letters of the vendor, a number to differentiate vendors with the same first 3 letters, and then a V at the end upon vendor creation?For example, when I add a vendor for West Side Materials, have the system automatically create the vendor ID WES001V.
