Hi Everyone,I am trying to run a recurring transaction batch in AR but I am experiencing an error. I have it set to run on the 27th day of each month (today) but it will not run until the 29th. Notice “GL Error: The next generation date for this task is greater than the current business date.” I realize I could change the business date to the 29th but I would like all the invoices to date on the 27th. Is there something I am doing wrong here?  Thanks

Does anybody know how to update an existing time activity using business event/import scenario? I am trying to update time activities with the correct project task and cost code combination when techs enter time incorrectly. It’s like an “auto-correct” feature…. The GI I have brings in the incorrect time entries, the business event triggers on record insertion, and the import scenario is supposed to replace the project task and cost code with the correct coding. The two challenges I see are:Perhaps I need to place the activity on “hold” first so the project task and cost code are editable fields. You can see in the import scenario that I tried placing on hold, saving, then editing the fields and saving again. How do I link the records in the GI with the proper time activity? I’m trying to do this using the RefNoteID. It seems as if that’s the only way to link them so the correct entry is updated through the import scenario.   The XML of the GI and import scenario are both attached. I a

Acumatica is creating a zero adjustment transaction for for cycle counts with no lines adjusted for inaccuracy.  How can I eliminate this adjustment from occurring?

Looking at working on integrations with our shipping broker, and we are investigating how to pass along dimensions for items we ship through them regularly.  I know where is box dimensions that can be captured, but I believe those only come into play during a shipment.  We are trying to store these at the stock item, so that when we create a new stock item that we want our broker’s system to know about, that data is readily available to pull.Does anyone have any best practices?  We are currently looking at either adding the information as attributes, or adding customs fields to the packaging tab on the stock item record.

What are people’s favorite methods to organize test cases? Is there any Acumatica-specific way to organize test cases?I would like to ensure users fully test new reports, processes, or preference settings before going live with changes.Do you use a Word doc or Excel sheet? Is there a software system that works well?

I am trying to make some changes to the TimeCardMaint screen. My goal is to join and load both the PMTimeActivity and CRActivity in one projection while being able to persist both.However when I hit save PMTimeActivity is persisted while CRActivity is not, I get no errors so I am confused as what to do next. I have a strange problem. Due to a conflict (I guess) with a 3rd party vendor, my customer sometimes experiences very odd behavior. What happens is when they create an appointment from a service order, and save the appointment, it changes the UnitPrice on the Sales Order Detail.I know that sounds weird… but, in example:If line 3 of the sales order detail has a unitPrice of $20, and they add an appointment, its detail line 3 also shows a UnitPrice of $20. But when they save the appointment, the service order line 3 now has a price of $34.95. It doesn’t always happen. When it happens the price is not always the same amount. It’s not always the same inventory item. But it happens enough to be a problem.Fortunately, we have a data set that, when following the same steps, will show the same problem every time. So I have to run it, roll it back, run it again, etc. Long process to debug, but at least it is repeatable.That is why I know it has something to do with a conflict elsewhere. I can p

The user has created a sales order and allocated a certain quantity. Now, they have created another transfer order (similar to the functionality for shipment creation like the sales order) and require a quantity allocation. However, since there is no quantity available, they need to check the transaction summary and find the allocated sales order to deallocate it and process the transfer order.During this process, the user would like an automated option where they expect the system to automatically deallocate the quantity and allow the user to allocate it for the required sales order when there is no quantity available.If the warehouse contains sufficient quantity, there are no issues. Any suggestions

Hi all,So I noticed that when creating a PO with multiple line items with the same inventory ID, when the PO is printed the system sums all of the lines together and only prints out one line item with the aggregated total qty. Our hope was to create a PO with multiple lines that correspond to requested on dates which you can change on the line level. We are trying to avoid having to cut a PO for each day and just have one PO with the different requested on dates at the line level. Wanted your thoughts on if this is possible. Thanks,

Does the new MO (Mixed Order) Order Type no create an IN Issue/Receipt? Tested this out today for a mixed return/invoice and did not see any IN Issue/Receipt on the item history.There is an Inventory Reference Nbr transaction in the MO order under shipments tab.It appears like it would have create the IN Issue/Receipt, but I do not see it in the items’ transaction history. I must be missing something - this type of order definitely needs to create inventory transactions

Hi,A business event was set up based on the generic inquiry to be triggered each time a prepayment request has been approved by the Procurement manager. it was working fine until recently when it stopped, I checked the business event history, none was processed and no failed ones. Has anyone else run into a similar issue?

Hello, I’m using this blog post to hopefully allow our team to manually resend shipment notifications:https://www.acumatica.com/blog/creating-a-new-notification-in-acumatica/In doing so I’m getting an error that the custom template I’ve created cannot be found. I have created a customization and added code to the SHipments screen to create a new button on the shipments screen “resend ship confirmation”: I created a new report and added it to the sitemap:​​​​I have created the notification template and referenced it in the mailings screen on both Sales Order Preferences AND made sure it shows on the customer mailings:  EMAIL TEMPLATE It does create the button which is nice, but When I go to the shipment and try to launch the email it tells me it cannot find the notification:  I have even tried using the notificationID number found in the URL and that does not work either, Any thoughts of what I’m missing?!

Hi everyone,When sending a GET request for the CustomerLocation with a LocationID the API fails with the following error “Operation is not valid due to the current state of the object." However, if the LocationID is removed the request will succeed. Meanwhile, every other object like CustomerPaymentMethod requires an ID or they will fail and report the same error.Why is CustomerLocation different ? Is it possible to detect if a ID is supported in the API ?I am using version 23.200.001 and the Default endpoint.Thank you.

A generic inquiry which includes Creation dates for all the users (both native and active directory) was created, but it doesn't display the creation date for some of the active directory users as you can see in the screenshot below. So, what could be the issue and how can it be solved?

What is the best method to Convert Multiple Purchases over to Single Fixed Asset.A customer buys multiple laptops (Qty 8, similar Class, similar useful life) each at $1,000 on different dates or the same date.  What is the best method to convert to an Asset.Fixed Asset thresh hold to capitalize is $5,000.Do you setup an Asset with zero value and convert the 8 purchases as components to one Fixed Asset? Or would you setup an Asset with summary amount of $8,000 and then convert purchases as components to this Asset #?    Or do you setup a Parent Asset then add each converted purchase line amount to an Asset associated with the Parent Asset?
