I’d love to be able to access current bank account balances via the bank feeds functionality for use in a dashboard. Is this information pulled and available?

Currently Acumatica imports transaction using bank feed from Plaid. Import Bank transactions, unfortunately bank balances are not a transaction.
You could add a product idea. Ideas | Community (acumatica.com)

I’m always frustrated when $50/month QBO has a feature that Acumatica doesn’t match.
