We are trying to determine which Activity types are the best to use for internal “chatter”/Messaging. In our testing we tried the Activity “Chat” - however it doesn’t show up on that specific project. Where does it go? I can’t find any help docs on the activity types that actually shows you how they work. 

Hello, We have some duplicated Customer accounts from our Shopify and Salesforce integrations. I activated the Duplicate Management with the hope I could merge these, but upon trying to merge two accounts, the MERGE button is greyed out, and I see an error:“The duplicate business accounts cannot be merged because they have the Customer type.”Is there anyway to merge Customer accounts?

Hi Team,Not sure if anyone has come across this issue before. We have an Automation schedule that generates invoices. Few days back we had quite a lot of invoices to be generated. When we checked the status of the schedule, we could see many of them were processed successfully, but some of them failed. In the logs we could see the following error for the failed ones “The transaction associated with this command is not the connection's active transaction; see https://fl.vu/mysql-trans”. On further analysis we could see the Invoice did get generated, but Invoices never got linked to their respective Contracts. Ideally the schedule generates the Invoice and links it to the respective Contract , but in this case the Invoices with errors never got linked to the Contract.Functionality is defined within a transaction scope so not sure why first section of the function worked (generating invoices) , but not the 2nd section (linking the Invoice to a Contract) for some reason didn’t get through.

I’m setting up  Min/Max replenishment for stock items and have a question about the ‘Qty on Supply’ value in the calculation.  For this part specifically I have an open PO for 6 units, however it doesn’t look like it’s included in the ‘Qty on Supply’ value, and I cannot check the ‘Included’ box.  Does anyone know why open purchase orders for this stock item would not be included in the Qty on Supply calculation?  Also, why is this box grayed out?  I have basically all permissions available.  

We are 2 years in with this software.  I’m hoping someone can help me with this.  While running Run Appointment Billing, we have never checked the “Ignore Time Frame” box.  We noticed some items weren’t getting billed but appt is closed and SO is closed.  Evidently, we are to hit the Ignore Time Frame button to get them to show up.  Something about the cutoff date not being set.  Therefore a lot of closed service orders are not showing up to be billed.  Has anyone else noticed this issue?  All of the appointments that had no cut off dates were within the past two months. We do not see any setting on service order or appointment where cut off date is even showing.

How do I upload an import scenario? I have received an import scenario (.xml) file from another user, but do not know how to import it to our Acumatica instance.

I am doing purchase order integration from my platform to acumatica so i need to pass my Product items from my platform to the purchase order creation in acumatica. For example i choose the 1st , 2nd and 3rd checkbox of select products , i choose a vendor now i hit the api so i am asking how will i send these products in my Purchase order create api and where will i see these Products name in my purchase order ?  these products that are in the product name by selecting a vendor so where will be these product will be added or from where i can see these products in my Purchase Order in acumatica.

 In the report designer, I need to print a Quote Order report including SOLine InventoryIDs and other details, along with Sales Order Estimate Tab’s InventoryIDs and other details, including taxType. How can I do this? When I try to print the SOLine InventoryIDs, duplicates occur.

Good morning, i’ve recently started playing with Acumatica, and I’m trying to figure out the (sales) taxes for Quebec.Normally, for the rest of Canada I assume, you’d use two fiscal agencies, one for the federal tax and one for the provincial tax. In Quebec, both are handled by the provincial government, so two taxes added at the same time, handled by one agency, which also handles the federal part (and HST) for the rest of the country for Quebec companies. How would I set that up? It can be done using two different agencies both named the same thing, almost, but that’s not the most efficient way to go.I’ve managed to put them under the same agency, but then the taxes amounts are combined in the report, and we have to report the numbers separately, so that doesn’t help either. Is there a good resource to understand how a business event with “Trigger by Record Change” which is triggered by “Record Inserted” is suppossed to work? OR NOT WORK? I understand Record Inserted as - something happened for the record to appear on the GI.When that happens the trigger condition is met and the subscribers should fire.What am I missing?

I’m implementing Requisitions and have set up approval maps. But they want to allow the creator of a requisition to add an approver on the fly. These additions don’t have a pre-defined criteria, so adding to approval map won’t work. It’s a case by case scenario. I see there’s a + button on the Approvals tab, but it’s always disabled. Does anyone know if Acumatica allows this to be enabled without customization? I’ve looked into it, but haven’t found anything.

Hi, We just went live to Acumatica, and we accidentally deleted the cash transaction entry type that we had already got some transactions. Now in the list of cash transactions, under the column “Entry Type”, there are “yellow warnings” for these transactions, saying “the record has been deleted”, probably the record on the “entry type” being deleted. We checked the GL side, seems like everything looks good. Can someone please advise whether there will have any significant impact? Thank you.

Someone told me they heard in newer versions of Acumatica that you could convert a Project to a Fixed Asset.  I can’t locate any documentation that states that.  Can anyone tell me if that’s an option or maybe on roadmap for future roll outs? thanks

Hi, When entering a direct sale through invoice I need to take the sales account from the posting class or from the warehouse (other than a stock item)I've tried changing ‘use sales account from the field’ of posting class but it has not worked for me. From where can i add the SubItem id ? Can anyone help in that because i am getting an error while creating an Purchase Order that SubItem Id cannot be empty . So from where do i need to add this subitem id or is it there defined in the vendors tab or some other tab ?
