Taxes on PO Invoice not posting to inventory

Hi All,I am trying to figure out how to configure ACU so that taxes from PO invoices will post to the inventory account instead of to the AP accrual account. Does anyone know how to do this? Thanks!Jude

Accounts and Subaccounts on ARM reports

Wondering if I could get some help generating ARM reports with the account and subaccount info expanded. I have my ARM reports built utilizing account classes as the data sources so I don’t have to manually add every account number onto the reports when we create new accounts. This has worked well until now when I need to get subaccount details under each account. When I expand data as SUB it does not break it down by account but just give me a total for each subaccount within that account class. I think I could make this happen by manually adding a line on my row set for every account and a line for subaccounts under that but I’m hoping there is an easier way that also wouldn’t require as much maintenance in future if we add accounts etc.

Does Fixed Asset: Disposal Parameter fields Before Disposal with options "Depreciate" and "Suspend" generates the same outcome?

I have tried to simulate both options but I end up with the same outcome. I expected that upon choosing “suspend”, depreciation would not be computed.

Allocations Rules - accumulate costs to a specific cost code?

Right now we have a few allocation rules that are setup to capture cost, every hour, for certain cost codes that get time applied to them from Time Entry. For example… if cost code 00-0010 (cost type Labor) gets entered on time entry for 4 hours - accumulate $400 of cost. The issue is 00-0010 (cost code) E (cost type) is the cost code that automatically gets created for $400. Is there a way we can dictate what cost code those allocation rules accumulate cost towards? Ex: 00-0010 - Cost Code Labor (L) - Cost Type gets selected during time entry, that $400 goes towards 00-2000 Equipment.Seems silly they wouldn’t allow us to dictate where those costs get tracked?

Prepayment Request do not validate terms and calculate cash discounts

In scenario where Vendor requires prepayment in full amount of PO, the associated Prepayment Request functionality does not populate terms nor calculate the Cash Discounts. If terms are 1/10/30 the system only calculates and processes cash discounts when processing an Actual Bill. In case where prepayment % is less than 100% it takes the Full Cash Discount on Final Payment when Bill is entered. Entering the Bill in advance and paying the Bill less cash discount to solve the transaction issue does not resolve the Accounting for what is really a prepayment transaction. Any ideas on how to process a prepayment less a cash discount at the time of prepayment?

COGS Breakdown Report

Hi, Do we have a standard or customized report do generate from Acumatica, where we can see the breakdown of the Cost of Goods sold (COGS)? This report needs to have the direct costs (PO cost) and the indirect costs (Freight, Customer duty, SST, Demurrage, etc) separately?Example : Or else, is there a way to record the indirect costs (From landed costs) to a separate GL account without including it in the Inventory account? Thanks in advance

Automation Schedule to Release Invoices Only Runs Once

Hi all, I wanted to create an Automation Schedule to release specific types of invoices. I would schedule it to the next minute when I test. I kept conditions simple as it is my initial test. I created a bunch of invoices with varying dollar amounts.This condition successfully released invoices with $0. However, after I deleted the “amount” condition trying to release the rest of the invoices, it would not release the rest of the invoices. Additionally, it shows “0 times executed” and shows no history when I click “view history,” even though I am 100% sure that the $0 invoices were successfully released.I could only release the rest of the invoices if I create a brand new automation schedule. After that, it will no longer work again. Please let me know if you have ran into similar issues, or I am just doing something wrong here. Any input is appreciated.

Expand unit cost to 5 decimal places .00000

Hi, I’ve had a request to expand our purchase order unit cost from 3 to 5 decimal places… is this possible? The only place I see for precision is in Currencies. My concern is that even if I could expand from 3 to 5, all our other costs are 3 decimal places, would this cause an issue?

Does Acumatica support using a manual card reader through Authorize.net or is using a third party app like Repay or EBizCharge required?

AP Error: PPV Subaccount Mask

I am getting the below error when trying to post an AP invoice. This is not a new item or new purchase type. It has been done numerous times in the past so not sure what is causing the issue now and how to fix. I am not seeing anything on the Posting class that looks “off”. Any thoughts on how to fix?

Re-Do Bank Reconciliation

Client created and posted a bank reconciliation for 01-31-2023.They then voided that bank reconciliation and now want to re-do it.But the attempt errors out with a message that the Reconciliation Date must be greater than the previously released Reconciliation. I don’t know how to go about re-creating the 01/31/2023 reconciliation unless anyone on this board has a suggestion for me.
