Hi everyone,I am looking for some input from anyone else who has to pay sales tax prior to the end of the month. We are in Massachusetts, which requires certain businesses to make an advance payment before the related tax return is due.Due dates:Advance payment of tax collected through and including 21st day of month due on 25th of monthly filing period Payment of remaining amount due with return on 30th day after end of monthly filing period. So due dates would be as follows:June 1 – June 21: due June 25June 22 – June 30: due July 30July 1 – July 21: due July 25July 22 – July 31: due August 30August 1 – August 21: due August 25August 22 – August 31: due September 30 We do currently have a process, but it requires a lot of manual intervention which introduces opportunity for error. As there are many states who require advance sales tax payments to be made, I am interested in how other businesses calculate advance sales tax payments so that I do not have to reinvent the wheel. We are usin
Hi! Can you run a different schedule for a different item on that is on the same contract? Without having to create a new deferral code for every new transaction, is it possible to update the deferral schedule if the customer decides to postpone a service for a later date? For example, I can change the Rec. Date in the transaction section, but when clicking on GENERATE TRANSACTIONS, the date goes back to what it was. Based on testing, answers to both questions would be no, but we would like to confirm there is no other ways. Open to any suggestions, thank you in advance for your help!
If I have a stock item that I purchase and sell in the same form, the purchase of that item is tax exempt but is taxable when I sell it. How do I set up a stock item so that sales tax isn’t added onto the purchase order but is taxed when its on a sales order?
We are utilizing the expense receipt and expense claim process to capture our corporate credit card expenses. We have noticed after releasing the claim at the time when expense receipts are converted into cash purchases that each receipt generates a cash purchase which matches the date and description of the claim not the date and expense of each receipt associated with the claim. Why? And can this be changed? This causes a claim containing 30 different receipts to contain the exact same date and exact same description and little way of distinguishing them when looking at them from the cash purchase inquiries. It also makes it very difficult during credit card reconciliation because the date of the expense does not match the date listed on the receipt. Is there a setting that we need to change? Or is this how it is intended to work?
When sending email statements from the Print Statement screen, AR503500, the process fails and shows the error:“There is no active notification source to process the operation.”The form AR641500 has the statement notification specified in the mailing settings. It does include a condition: If it is branch ;X’ , use XStatement notification, else StatementNotificationThe two email templates for the statement emails are set up correctly with the correct screen AR503500The customer mailing and printing settings include the Statement mailing ID.
Good morning, I’ve got an issue with the Print/Email AR Documents. When we go to process emails, we got the error There is no active notification source to process the operation. It looks like this is due to not having a email template set up for this function. But, we have a modified email that gets sent when we process a email directly from Print Invoices Report. Where would this information be stored if I don’t have a template set up?
Hopefully you can follow along with the issues we are having with using the correct invoice feature. All of our invoices have some sort of commission split on them for the sales people and when using the correct invoice it generates a credit memo and applies it to the original invoice that is now cancelled. My first question is what happens to the commissions on the original invoice that was cancelled? Are the commissions cancelled too? I couldn’t find any transactions for the commissions and the credit memo that is generated will not allow you to change the commissions, that tab is greyed out. So, then I have a new invoice now and I can correct the invoice however I need to and it will allow me to change the commissions on the new invoice. So, if I increase the sale amount of the item and put in the commission splits it will calculate the commission on the new invoice amount yet if the original amount from the cancelled invoice is not credited then the salesperson will be paid commissi
I have a challenge with bank reconciliation, when a cash item is cleared using a statement. The system will not allow me to unclear it. I have tried deleting reconciliation, unmatching all statement items and also deleting the statement but without success
Hello! We are experiencing an issue where the tax stops getting calculated into the control total when we mark lines for PO. For instance see the below sales order.Prior to marking for PO:After marking for PO: I was unable to find any reasoning or calculations as to why Acumatica does this.Does anyone know why this happens?Thank you!

I encountered the following situation in AP: Created and released an AP Bill. Reversed the Bill from the Bill screen, which created a Debit Adjustment. In the Debit Adjustment’s Financial tab, the Original Document Ref shows correctly. Released the Debit Adjustment, but did not apply it to the original Bill. When I went to create a Payment for the original Bill, the system still allowed me to proceed with no warning or comment about the existing Debit Adjustment. Since it was not applied, this could result in duplicate payments/entries.Question:Is this the expected system behavior? Shouldn’t the system warn or block payment creation when there is an existing unapplied Debit Adjustment linked to the same Bill? Or is the correct practice always to apply the Debit Adjustment immediately after reversal to avoid this risk? Shouldn’t there be a system alert or block if a Payment is being created for a Bill that has a full-amount Debit Adjustment linked in Original Document Ref. but not
Is it still the case that MX is not supporting BMO Business accounts as mentioned on below ?Any other recommendation if the above is true?We were able to connect bmo business to acumatica but we are running into some missing bank transactions when you retrieve the transactions.
I’m trying to track down the amount of shipping fees we have paid for out going sales orders. I thought this may live in the ship via code but according to Acumatica Freight Expense Account is only used for POs not SOs.Freight Expense AccountThe general ledger account of the Expensetype to be used to record the freight amounts to be paid to the carrier. This account is not updated by the freight cost amounts from the sales orders shipped by the carrier. The freight amounts from purchase order lines of the Freight type on the Purchase Orders (PO301000) form are posted to this account on release of an AP bill created for this purchase order. When a line of the Freight type is added on the Details tab of the Purchase Orders (PO301000) form, the system copies the freight expense account from the ship via code of the vendor location selected in the purchase order. When a sales order is shipped and invoiced, I see the “Freight Cost” for that sales order but when I look at the GL batch there i
We have a fixed asset that was initiated and reversed within the same fiscal period, status shows reversed and batched posted, but when the Acquisitions report is run for the external audit the asset still shows up. There isn’t a standard filter on the report for STATUS to exclude ‘reversed’.The reversal does NOT show up on the Disposals report. Why would Reversed assets be included?
Do I need to set up a seperate Cash Account for each Company in ACM?
Is there a way in one can restrict the access of users to specific financial statements, so that once a user has created a report, other users who have access to the finacial reports are not able to modify the newly created report? In other words, we are looking for a way to protect individual reports being modified by other users with similar roles.
Issue when creating Sales order - SA I tried to remove the line and re-add and there’s another error coming up
Hi, how do we prevent a AP bill from being paid? The AP bill is entered and released. It shows up on Aged AP which is good. But how can we flag this bill to be put on Hold ?
Hi everyone, We’re currently facing an issue with Authorize.Net integration in our Acumatica instance, and I’d like to ask the community (and Acumatica team) whether this behavior is expected following the announced deprecation. We're using Acumatica 2024 R1 (Build 24.107.0004) and Authorize.Net as our payment gateway. Everything was functioning normally until July 28, 2025, but starting July 29, our payment transactions began failing during the Create Payment → Authorize step, with the following error:PX.CCProcessingBase.Interfaces.V2.CCProcessingException: One or more of the following settings have not been specified: the merchant API login ID, the transaction key, the test mode, the validation mode.No configuration changes were made on our end — API credentials, payment method setup, and processing center remain untouched. We are aware that Acumatica officially ended support for Authorize.Net on June 30, 2025, with the following note in your announcements:"While transactions may co
I would like to prevent users from changing exchange rates on AR invoices and credit memos. What is the name of the container element that needs to be made view-only? I’m talking specifically about this widget, they can open it but not change anything: I can’t find a container element using the word “exchange” or “rate”. Any help would be appreciated!
Hello,In past ERP systems that I have used their was a feature that allowed me to combine multiple financial statements for a particular tenant. Then I was able to run them together as a packet/binder. Am I able to leverage anything within Acumatica that would put this binder together with five or six different reports for each individual branch within a company? Example - Company = Branches within Acumatica: Regards,Brandon McIlhargey
In a multi currency environment and when you need to capture backlog, Acumatica Cash Purchases are using the day's exchange rate Not the transaction date exchange rate. this results in wrong balances in the Ledger and all financial reports.
Hi!The goal is to have a column on Statement of Operation to show the sum of last three months. So far I am only able to get the column to show value for three months from the current month selected, not adding up the past three months values. (i.e. If selected month is 09-2024, the column only returns data for 06-2024).I have tried changing the Amount Type to Turnover and that would only return the turnover amount of the period that is three months from the current, not the turnover of all three months. Anybody know if this is possible to accomplish with ARM reports and what the formula should look like? Any suggestions are appreciated! Thanks!
Hello all,Can anyone guide me to setup a bi weekly statement cycle. Not of twice a month but it should be a true bi weekly.Thanks.
Hi:I’m trying to import a NACHA (ACH) file from Acumatica to my bank’s platform. However, I’m having an issue with the Company Identification field. According to the NACHA developer guide this field is 10 characters long and should be alphanumeric. ACH File Details | ACH Guide for DevelopersIt seems this field is populated by the Cash Account screen (CA202000) on the remittance settings under ACH. The field seems to be constructed from 1 character from “Company ID Type” and the rest from “Company ID”. However, the “Company ID Type” field seems restricted to numeric only and in our case we need a letter.Any advice on how can we change the Company ID Type field to accept an Alphanumeric character so I can export the NACHA files correctly from Acuamatica?Thank you!
