Closed Retained Earnings to One Subaccount

Is there a way to set Retained Earnings to close to one singular subaccount instead of each one individually? And, if not, what is the workaround most people would recommend? Make a journal entry? The only issue I could see with that is that it will have to be done for any transactions that need back-posted to the previous year after closing.

​@rebeckamckinney53 You might consider using the Allocations function. Once the allocation is set up, you can run it whenever you want or put it on a schedule to happen automatically. The end result is a journal entry, but the system does it for you.
