Hello,      We are having “pop up note” for customer, vendor, item entity. If the user are dealing with customer, vendor, item with the pop up setting, the user will get a pop up notification.     I am just wondering, is there a way to announce to all users with the pop up window?Or at least, is there some way I can use to send a msg to  users and make sure they can see when they log in the system?

Hey everyone!  We just got started using Acumatica.  Love it so far, even with its many quirks.  My question is simple, and I would think the answer would be obvious but I cannot find it anywhere!  We have thousands of stock inventory items.  Most of them are in “Kits,” with many of them in many many kits.  I need to find a place I can enter an inventory item ID and be presented with a list of all kits that it belongs to.Many thanks and a bottle of bourbon to the person who can help me with this!

I would like to get better insight into HOW Contact Preferences work. These preferences seem to be self-explanatory.  If they are, GREAT!  However, I have not had success in finding documentation (in Acumatica or outside Acumatica) to understand how these function behave.In my use case, I need to understand how these controls work within the:Business Account (Parent), and the… Contact (Child).Here’s a picture of what the function looks like in the Contact. 

When I create a PO, the line type is always Service and the Item is a Non Stock ItemI am not able to change itAny idea? 

Greetings all,Can Task due dates (created by business events) respect the Work Calendar?I’m able to create task due dates that dynamically respond to the “Case Created Date” (as an example) but is there a way to further refine the statement below to also respect the Work Calendar? The goal is that we’re not establishing Case due dates during a holiday or weekend. =DateAdd( [Case.CreatedDateTime], 'd', 2 )   

Hello,        We recently upgraded to 2021R2.On stock item screen, if click “sales price”, normally a new tab would be open.However, some user encounter system remain still, nothing happens, no new tab open.        How is that?        We are both using chrome. Is it some setting in Chrome that prevent the new tab open?  

I see that we cannot search the Labor Item field by item description on the Timecard Entry screen. Has anyone found a fix for this?

Is anyone else having an issue with replying to Acumatica support case emails from L2 support in Outlook?I have a couple of open cases that have been raised to L2 and when the L2 engineer emails me, Outlook won’t let me reply or forward it. I get the error below.I’m able to reply to the initial support consultant that picks up the case, but to any of the escalation engineers. 

I am getting a Project Billing Issue: "PM Warning: Invoice was not created during the billing. Nothing to bill."This is happening for all projects when I try to run the Project Billing.This has worked perfectly in the past, and I haven't changed anything to the projects...Anyone know why this is occurring?

Our customer gets the chance to bid an a variety of projects for a General Contractor.  Since the same salesperson is talking to the GC about all of the quotes we would like to create multiple jobs from the same opportunity.  Has anyone else tried to do this?

Hi guys,I have some difficulties understanding account groups and labor rates. Could anyone please help to explain my thoughts below? Thanks!For account groups, I couldn’t really get why it’s necessary. To track the cost of a project task, if I could appoint an expense account directly to it, why do I have to configure an account group for this expense account? As for labor rates, suppose that we have an employee who receives a fixed ammount of salary, 500 dollars every month. But we still need her to clock the time card for the projects she’s working on, so that we could bill our customer based on the hours. How should we set the labor rates then? I’m also worried about the impact on our accounting book. Since there’s a link between the non-stock item of labor type and this employee’s time card, and the non-stock item has a certain expense account, will it affect the balance of the expense account in the accounting book on release of th

This may seem like a silly question but…How do you make a wiki article visible to the Global search field in Acumatica?We’ve created a wiki and published it but Acumatica doesn’t find it when we search for it.

Occasionally we have a incoming document email that will give us the “Value Cannot be null” error and are therefore unable to open or delete the line item. Specifically it did it to one invoice three different times while trying different ways of emailing the document. It is also strange that we are unable to delete them as well so they sit in the incoming documents folder forever. Error: Error Trace:  

We are getting the following errors at various points: Error: An error occurredduring processing of thefield Branch value 23 Error:'New Segment' of 'Branch'does not exist in thesystem. Error: An error occurred during processing of the field Receiving Branchvalue 23 Error: 'New Segment' of 'Receiving Branch' does not exist inthe system. I am stumped as to how to troubleshoot this.  Any ideas where to start?  We don’t use Branches in our system.

Hi,I am trying to do a custom action (“PAY”, “CONFIRM PAYMENT”)  in the screen SP402000 in the Acumatica Customer Portal that creates a transaction in the ERP. At the moment the action I created works for all records in the following grid. I am currently missing the part in which I can select the records that I want to process in the grid. I tried adding a check box column and changing the Skin ID of the grid from PrimaryInquiry to Primary so I can try to edit the records but it didn’t work.Any ideas on how I can make that checkbox editable?

Hi guys,we need our backoffice employees to clock their time card for internal projects such as Administration, HR, Finance. Currently the Approval Status of the employees’ time card is “Not Required”. Where should I set up the approver? Is it in “Projects → Tasks → Approvers”?By the way, could someone please tell me if there’s a course about time card that covers most of knowledge needed to use “Time and expenses” module? That way I can get the whole picture instead of asking one question at a time here in the community. Many thanks!

Is there an online list of Acumatica Partners in European countries? I have a lead for Spain. Maybe create a section in the Discussions Forum called Overseas Acumatica Offices and Partners. and post the contact information for each office and partner. Sometimes an overseas company has a major office or plant in the USA. Hi All,Am I missing something here, I see you can easily do mass emails (Marketing | Mass Email). But I can’t see an easy way to en mass create a load of Tasks / Appointments for members of a Marketing Campaign or Marketing Lists. Within both options you can create an activity, but it seems just for that List/Campaign but they don’t seem to have any links to the members within. Example Scenario - I have a Marketing List of 100 members, How do I easily create a Task/Appointment for all 100 people? I don’t always want to email them and want to set up tasks for users to then call them. 

I ran into an error when publishing a customization project that I haven’t seen before:  “The '<project name>' customization project contains a prohibited database script”.  The customization has published without errors and the db script in it executes fine on many different Acumatica instances except for this particular one.  The db script just drops a view if it exists, and then creates the view.  The Acumatica build is 21.115.0017.  The error shows up right away after selecting Publish.  Did I miss something in the release notes somewhere where certain db commands are no longer allowed in scripts, or could it be a licensing or permissions issue of some kind?

Should I be concerned if the update completes despite having ‘aborted’?

Is there any way to auto or manually merge cases within the case management module? RegardsAmrit
