Hi,I’m curious if anyone knows why the error line that a quantity would go negative prior to creating the shipment from a Sales Order would be present for one user but not present for another user. I checked permissions and I can’t seem to find anything that would be different. When the person goes to create the shipment, it's removing the items that would go negative, but he doesn’t have that view while others have it. If anyone else has run into this issue and knows a resolution, it would be greatly appreciated. I attached a screenshot of my view and the other users view for reference.
I just started using the modern UI on 2025R1 and noticed the embedded image is no longer on the attributes tab of the stock item record. Does anyone know how to get this back? I tried adding the Image URL using the screen configurator, but that doesn’t embed the image, it just creates a non-drillable image URL.
Hi Community,I am trying to Correct a Shipment that the Update IN has been clicked, and because the Inventory Document has already been posted and Released, what other options do I have? Thanks,RJ
I’m trying to change the Lot/Serial Class on a few stock items from LOTTRACKED to USER.When the items are allocated on Sales Orders, I get the expected error message:“IN Error: The lot/serial class of the xyz item cannot be changed because this item is allocated in the Sales Order SO1234 document.”After I deallocate the xyz item from all Sales Orders, I get a different message saying the Lot/Serial Class cannot be changed because the item has inventory.I went a step further and cleared out all the inventory, but the system still won’t let me change the Lot/Serial Class. My understanding is that once there are completed transactions (receipts, issues, shipments, etc.), Acumatica “freezes” the Lot/Serial Class to preserve transaction history. Before I commit to a solution, can anyone confirm if:This really means the Lot/Serial Class is locked forever once transactions exist, even if inventory = 0. The only supported approach is to create a new stock items with the desired Lot/Serial Class
Is it possible to set up a customer which has multiple locations for shipping and not assign any as the default? The intent is to have sales orders for that customer not prepopulate with any location on order creation - a sort of indicator that the customer has multiple locations and care should be taken that the correct location is selected. We would still want to have customers with a default location selected to have that location populate for expediency.Thank you for any insight you can provide,
Hi everyone, I’m implementing Requisitions / Purchasing and have run into a problem due to the following requirement: PO receipt needs to have a net 0.00 impact on the GL, because COGS/expense needs to wait until the AP bill is created. But also need subaccount to be editible on the AP bill. My solution was to put the same account as both PO Accrual and COGS on the non-stock item, so receipt is a wash. If I use the expense account for both, it shows up on the AP bill. But the subaccount is not editable on AP bill if the line is from a receipt. I see the reason for this because the AP bill should always debit the credited account/sub from receipt, but in this case the receipt already offsets itself. I believe the simplest workaround is to skip receiving since these are non-stock items, but I’ve been told that is not a viable option from their process perspective. Would love to hear any ideas! Thanks!
Good day. How do we freeze Inventory module in Acumatica 2021 R2 for stock take purpose?
What functionality should I expect from the ShipStation integration? I’ve installed the customization, connected both systems within ShipStation, and started configuring ShipStation in Acumatica. However, I’m struggling to get orders to sync to ShipStation. What needs to be set up in Ship Via? Is a carrier required? I’ve reviewed the user guide from ShipStation but still can’t get the orders to sync. Additionally, will the "Shop for Rates" feature be available with this integration? I haven’t been able to find any clear resources on this—can you help?
Hi everyone, We recently upgraded our system to 2025 R1 a few days ago. I’ve encountered an issue when searching for invoices that have associated credit memos. The search results only display the RM (credit memo) and do not show the original invoice document. I’m not sure if this a bug or not. Can anyone try on your system and leave me a command. Thank you. invoice without credit memo: invoice with credit memo:
Hello everyone,Our Balance Sheet shows a Purchase Accrual balance that is almost four times higher than the balance shown on the Purchase Accrual Summary report. I checked the Account Details for the Purchase Accrual account, and there are no manual journal entries posted to this account — all entries are from AP and IN modules. The balance for this account also matches the Trial Balance, including the debit and credit amounts.I also read a similar post on the Acumatica Community and tested all of the suggested steps, but the issue still remains. I’m not sure where else to look to identify the discrepancy. As mentioned, the variance is quite large — roughly four times higher than the Unbilled Receipts amount.Has anyone encountered a similar issue or have any recommendations on how to troubleshoot and resolve this discrepancy?
We are using only the distribution edition of Acumatica, and our pick list does not print the components for kits. Is there any setting, like enable or disable, to activate the option?
We’re struggling with visibility around international shipments in our Distribution Center. Right now, both the supervisor creating the pick lists and the pickers themselves often don’t realize an order is international until it’s too late. As a result, shipments sometimes leave without the proper customs paperwork. Most of the time, our pickup drivers are good at catching this when they load their trucks, but I’d like to eliminate the risk before it gets that far. What I’d like to do is:On the Create Pick Lists screen: make international shipments stand out more clearly (e.g., highlight the line a different color or display an icon/flag). On the Pick List report: add a bold header message like “INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENT--CUSTOMS PAPERWORK REQUIRED” that only appears when applicable.I’m not sure if this is best handled through Report Designer (and if so, which field to pull from--Ship-To Country?) or if there’s another way to flag international shipments directly in the screen.Has anyone im
After a recent upgrade I’ve noticed that the two checkboxes for Require Receipt and Require Shipment are missing from our Non-Stock ItemsThe fields are still populated with a value and I can see those values through a GI, but there are no fields to edit or modify on the Non-Stock item itself, nor can I access them via a mass records update or import scenarioWe have a few minor customizations to Non-Stock items but nothing that should impact these fields Is there anything I’m missing from a settings or configuration stand-point that might be causing this?
Hi Team The issue is the approver column. It shows the wrong approver when the approver is a level 2. See example screenshot below. The approver should be Carlos instead of Virginie.
Hey team,Is it possible to create a shipment on hold for specific customers? its like the rest of the shipments would be created under Balanced status but there are some customers for which they should be created on Hold. I know of biz events, import scenarios but anything apart from these?
My goal is to have shipping instructions auto populated to the Notes field in Shipment when the shipment is created. The idea is to populate the insturctrions in the Notes of the location in the customer and have that note auto populate the Note of the shipment when a shipment is made with that customer. I have tried the following but its not working so far and thought I would open up the conversation to the group for discussion.I created a generic inquiry to pull the notesI built an import scenario And the following business event to which I am not sucessfully able to attach a subscriberI succesfully created a data provider from excel but not able to achieve success creating a data provider from a GI Anyway, its not working. Perhaps there is a simpler solution? What are your thoughts?
Looking for a successful Import Scenario for Landed Cost Transactions. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I have one started, but although it says completed, it fails to create the transaction.
Our business has a case where sometimes Customers would like the vast majority of their items to be shipped once the entire order is ready to be shipped “Shipped in Full” except maybe 1 or 2 SOLines. They want those items to be shipped “Soonest Available”. SOOrder.ShipComplete = Ship Complete as this is the default for the order. SOLine.ShipComplete = Back Order Allowed for Line 1 hoping this will tell the system it is Okay to create a shipment for ONLY line 1.Unfortunately, this still results in No Shipment creation. I also tested switching SOOrder.ShipComplete to Back Order Allowed, but then Ship Complete at the SOLine level only needs to fulfill SOLine.Qty and not the entire order.I have read through the Acumatica Help documentation and this all does appear to be how the system is intended to work. However, I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to accomplish the desired results with default Acumatica functionality. Looking to avoid customizations if it exists.
Hi,I would appreciate assistance with requirement below. The system picks the vendor price based on sequence shown in the image below. if any pricing set are not available, the system picks the last cost. I’m looking for a way to avoid picking the vendor price automatically and ask to key in manually always. Thanks,Dulanjana
When we bill a customer account, for some reason its showing as Bill 3rd Party on the label and a vendor just reached out letting us know they are getting hit with fees. We've talked with Fedex multiple times. Fedex said it's some type of configuration in the back end of Acumatica causing this issue. We are sending to the responsible party. FedEx Support said it's being sent over as 3rd Party. FedEx support is unable to change it, said it has to be changed on the backend of the system: "The payment type is coming in the transaction and Acumatica needs to work with the Web Service hotline – 8773392774. Thank you. We've also had one of our devs look at it. His analysis:From review of Acumatica source code, it looks like when the shipment Use Customer Account endorsement is set and the carrier billing type for the customer is Receiver, then the integration adds 'RECEIVER' as an attribute. I don't have view into the Acumatica FedEX api, so I can't see exactly how everything is fed into t
When, trying to do confirm shipment for Amazon SO order, we are getting and below errorAnother process has updated the 'SOAddress' record. Your changes will be lost.
We do not track serial numbers. I read that I have to enable Lot/Serial tracking to get Receive and Put Away to work. I have enabled it.Releasing Receipt Error:Stock Item Screen, Lot/Serial is Not Tracked:Lot/Serial Class: Purchase Order Preference: Item Class: All warehouse locations are no validation. What am I missing to configure this correctly? Any advice would be appreciated.
what does it mean to add a negative quantity to a return for credit order type? does it removes the invoice balance or does it credit the account? please advise.
Hi, I have changed the description. I want to know where the previous value is store. OldValue = ‘RMA-3693 - General Returns’NewValue = ‘RMA-3693 - General Returns- AAA’It’s a record from ScreenID = ‘SO301000’
Our Distribution Center Operators keep reporting that certain Stock Items are being altered unexpectedly:The Default Issue From Location is being removed The Lot/Serial Class is being changed The UOM and Conversions are being modified etc. When I check the Audit History, it always shows “last modified by admin,” but no one is acknowledging making any changes. My questions:Is there a way to drill down deeper than “admin” in the audit history to see which user or process actually made the change? Could this be caused by an integration (SPS, import scenarios, etc.) or only by direct user edits? What tools, logs, or setting should I be looking at in Acumatica to track down the source of these modification?
