Our business has a case where sometimes Customers would like the vast majority of their items to be shipped once the entire order is ready to be shipped “Shipped in Full” except maybe 1 or 2 SOLines. They want those items to be shipped “Soonest Available”. SOOrder.ShipComplete = Ship Complete as this is the default for the order. SOLine.ShipComplete = Back Order Allowed for Line 1 hoping this will tell the system it is Okay to create a shipment for ONLY line 1.Unfortunately, this still results in No Shipment creation. I also tested switching SOOrder.ShipComplete to Back Order Allowed, but then Ship Complete at the SOLine level only needs to fulfill SOLine.Qty and not the entire order.I have read through the Acumatica Help documentation and this all does appear to be how the system is intended to work. However, I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to accomplish the desired results with default Acumatica functionality. Looking to avoid customizations if it exists.
Hi,I would appreciate assistance with requirement below. The system picks the vendor price based on sequence shown in the image below. if any pricing set are not available, the system picks the last cost. I’m looking for a way to avoid picking the vendor price automatically and ask to key in manually always. Thanks,Dulanjana
When we bill a customer account, for some reason its showing as Bill 3rd Party on the label and a vendor just reached out letting us know they are getting hit with fees. We've talked with Fedex multiple times. Fedex said it's some type of configuration in the back end of Acumatica causing this issue. We are sending to the responsible party. FedEx Support said it's being sent over as 3rd Party. FedEx support is unable to change it, said it has to be changed on the backend of the system: "The payment type is coming in the transaction and Acumatica needs to work with the Web Service hotline – 8773392774. Thank you. We've also had one of our devs look at it. His analysis:From review of Acumatica source code, it looks like when the shipment Use Customer Account endorsement is set and the carrier billing type for the customer is Receiver, then the integration adds 'RECEIVER' as an attribute. I don't have view into the Acumatica FedEX api, so I can't see exactly how everything is fed into t
When, trying to do confirm shipment for Amazon SO order, we are getting and below errorAnother process has updated the 'SOAddress' record. Your changes will be lost.
We do not track serial numbers. I read that I have to enable Lot/Serial tracking to get Receive and Put Away to work. I have enabled it.Releasing Receipt Error:Stock Item Screen, Lot/Serial is Not Tracked:Lot/Serial Class: Purchase Order Preference: Item Class: All warehouse locations are no validation. What am I missing to configure this correctly? Any advice would be appreciated.
what does it mean to add a negative quantity to a return for credit order type? does it removes the invoice balance or does it credit the account? please advise.
Hi, I have changed the description. I want to know where the previous value is store. OldValue = ‘RMA-3693 - General Returns’NewValue = ‘RMA-3693 - General Returns- AAA’It’s a record from ScreenID = ‘SO301000’
Our Distribution Center Operators keep reporting that certain Stock Items are being altered unexpectedly:The Default Issue From Location is being removed The Lot/Serial Class is being changed The UOM and Conversions are being modified etc. When I check the Audit History, it always shows “last modified by admin,” but no one is acknowledging making any changes. My questions:Is there a way to drill down deeper than “admin” in the audit history to see which user or process actually made the change? Could this be caused by an integration (SPS, import scenarios, etc.) or only by direct user edits? What tools, logs, or setting should I be looking at in Acumatica to track down the source of these modification?
Hi everyone,I’m curious what other companies’ picking processes look like in Acumatica — especially if you’re using any customizations or third-party integrations to make picking faster. Our current process feels very tedious. To pick an item, our warehouse staff has to: Scan the location Scan the inventory ID Scan the lot number Manually click “Set Qty” if we’re selecting more than a quantity of 1 In our previous ERP, each box had its own lot number. When picking, we could simply scan that lot number, and the system would automatically know the location, inventory ID, and quantity from that single scan.We tried to eliminate the “Set Qty” step in Acumatica by creating cross-reference barcodes tied to the UOM (BOX or CS). That way, when we scan the alternate ID, the system automatically sets the quantity based on the UOM.For example, for product F8032-052LG: Inner pack (BOX) = 6 units Full case (CS) = 72 units So, if I need a full case, I scan the F8032-052LG-CS barcode once, the
Hello,We have about 350 stock items that are set to either inactive or marked for deletion. Some of these items still have a quantity on hand in one or more warehouses. The items marked inactive/m4d do not show up on the physical count, and will not let us create adjustments for them.Is there a way to zero out the on hand inventory for these items without manually going through all 350, reactivating them, doing an adjustment, and then deactivating them again?Thank you!
We have low-cost products and don't use the formal RMA process, but we still need to handle returns efficiently. We need the belowAdd returned items back to inventory at specific locations Link to customer when known (sometimes customer is unknown) Keep it simple and lightweightLooking for a simple solution that gives us basic tracking
The issue is that I have created Business event for triggering the condition to send email alert for salesperson whenever customer status changes from Active to Inactive and I have created separate generic inquiry where the result grid includes customer acctname, status,, salesperson email, salespersonCD and all Below screenshot is the DAC table and relations for the GI.Business event is getting triggered, but the email is not getting triggered and processed I want to send the email to employee of the company i.e., salesperson. Below are the screenshot for I am facing the issue
Does anyone have an inventory usage/inventory aging report xml that they could attach? I’ve been trying to create one with a GI but having trouble getting it to work correctly. Thanks for the help!
Hello all,I have a scenario where I have a small custom grid in the stock items screen where the grid has 3 rows (Value1, Value2, Value3) already defined via customization. And i want to map the scenario to mark Active checkbox true for only Value3.
Hello; i’m struggling to activate my Price class field in my Generic Inquiry.I’ve gotten it to work before...but i had to switch from billing to shipping addresses and having rebuilt it, i broke it and cant get it again lol. So far, I’ve had success using the DAC browser and following what they state via the element inspector, albeit some are backwards to what the browser says. Is there a resource that explains more thorough how to find these relation partnerships? I sorta understand but some change and i get confused.
The customer walks in to the counter to return and replace an item. The replacement item must be picked and processed in the warehouse but the mixed order type cannot do a shipment Using the RMA order type requires a Receipt to be processed. There is not a desire to go thru the entire shipping process for the receipt, just return it to the default RMA bin (MO orders DO NOT default the location to the RMA location which is a bug).
How to clean inventory transit expired from item plan or can receipt it
Hello everyone,I am currently working on a customization where I want the Contact from the Sales Order (SOOrder) to be displayed in the Shipments (SOShipment). I'm running into issues. What is the best approach to achieve this functionality?Any guidance or code examples would be greatly appreciated!Thank you in advance!
Hi ! We use the BL type of Sales Orders to follow quantity Sales and invoiced.I only use non-inventory item with SO Invoice without Shipment. But How could I track the real quantity into customer Order when a credit memo is created for correcting a invoice ?I E : If we create a child SO Order then invoice it and after that create a credit memo(from AR30100 because of no shippment restriction) for some reason with reducing the quantity invoiced. How could the blanket order reflect the real quantity into sales order and invoices linked ? I could copy my SO into a RC one but it would be linked with my BL Sales order. Thank for your help
Hi Acumatica Community,We’re running into a costing behavior that doesn’t match our expectation of how Average Costing should work, and I’d like to understand how to address it properly.Scenario:We’re using Average as the costing method on our stock items. We received 5 units on a PO at $9.50 per unit. A Landed Cost was posted afterward for $9.00 per unit, bringing the total unit cost for those 5 units to $18.50. We then received 10 more units at $9.00 each, with no landed cost. The overall average cost at this point should be:((5 × 18.5) + (10 × 9.00)) ÷ 15 = $11.67 However, when we ship the first 5 units, Acumatica still uses the $18.50 unit cost instead of pulling the average cost of $11.67.My Question: How can we get Acumatica to always use the actual average cost (e.g., $11.67), not the inflated cost from the landed cost layer? Is there a configuration we’re missing? Do we need to perform a Cost Revaluation after each landed cost? Is this behavior expected even when Av
Wondering if anybody has come up with a solution to show duplicate lot/serial numbers if used in different item classes? Client needs to be able to resolve duplications of serial numbers when posted, we have the Lot Serial Class set to Share Auto-Incremental Value between all class items but it doesn’t stop you posting the same serial number to an item in a different class. I created a GI to show duplicates by joining the InSiteLotSerial to the InSiteLotSerial as an alias but have had to use groupings to get it to work, I then can’t get a business event to send an email when a new record is inserted due to grouping. I have tried other tables InItemLotSerialInfo but this doesn’t report correctly and struggling to find away without going down the customisation route of extending Dacs etc.
We currently have our sales order types set to pull from the Customer Location for the “Combine Sales Sub From” setting (so it’s set to LLLL). We are setting up a new sales order type that we’d like to hard code to a specific subaccount, instead of telling it to pull from somewhere. There are plenty of places to pull the subaccount from (and we use almost none of them), so I could plug it in on the warehouse or even the inventory item and pull from there, but if I am able to plug in a specific subaccount in this field, it would make it even easier.
Hello! We have 15 different locations that need to be set up under one company and we are thinking of either setting them up as 15 different branches or as different subaccounts. Any best practices or pros and cons for doing either branches or subaccounts? We are open to any suggestions! Thanks!
Hi there! I saw a post on this topic from 2 years ago so looking for a refresh. We do not use inventory...most of our projects are special order. That said, we palletize materiala and put them on racks in our warehouse until we can ship them to the job site. We have a new warehouse assistant. He would like us to get a printer to print these labels….I am assuming we should also get the capability to read barcodes. 1) Any ideas based on the situation I just described 2) what has everyone else had success with 3) what am I not thinking of :) Thanks in advance!
