Has anyone also noticed that the global / universal search in Acumatica is not returning 100% of the possible results since we did the update for R1 2033.   For example not all customers populate, not all invoices etc…  Any feedback on this would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Community! I have not had any luck in finding a clean answer to this, but I am hoping somebody has a good quick and painless answer lol. We have a customer that has multiple branches, and when using Dashboards and their widgets, those numbers are being pulled from every branch. We need a way to have the Dashboards/widgets only pull the information based on the branch that they are currently in. How can we do that? Thanks in advance. 

I have had to change the URL of our production instance, and now I have no way to update the URL in the configuration wizard. Does anyone know where the configuration wizard stores its data?

How do we test an email template to ensure it looks the way we want it to when received by our customer? 

How do we add other employee email addresses in place of the Sales email in the From section of our email templates? 

Hi ALL,We have Cases that are repeated periodically every 3 months, 6 months, etc., such as air conditioner maintenance, employee computer cleaning, car maintenance, etc.Take air conditioner maintenance as a specific example. We created a Case called "Air conditioner maintenance" and we closed this Case when it was completed. The air conditioner maintenance work will be repeated after another 6 months. How can the closed "Air conditioner maintenance" Case automatically "Open" again after another 6 months or How can the system automatically create a new Case "air conditioner maintenance" after 6 months? Best Regards,NNT

Hi Everyone,I'm localizing a tenant to Portuguese, but I keep getting an error whenever I open the screen where the specific string is linked because the strings contain "/". Does anyone have any ideas on how to resolve this issue? 

Good day,I am setting up individual user emails (2023R2).  Tested the email and it worked.  However, when sent an email outside the system; the Name of the sender was correct but it was sent from the default user email address. See sampleEvan G<noemail@none.com.  Evan G is the name of the person sending the email. and the address is for another user. We are using Office 365 emails.However, when the user sends it someone inside the company the right email address is used. Is this a setting issue?  Or changes needed to preferences?  I have not sure how to start to tackle to make sure the user name sends from the correct email address.Thank you@Evan G   

I am attempting to harden the IIS server for Acumatica. I’m following the CIS recommendation for this and similar instructions can be found here:https://www.tenable.com/audits/items/CIS_v1.8_MS_IIS_7_Level_1.audit:ecdf68afefe076d64ba1c06ce00fd629Upon doing this, I run into a problem within Acumatica, which is easily repeatable from the Sales Order screen. All records can be viewed with no problem, but going one layer deeper by attempting to open a specific sales order will result in a pop up error stating that “There was an error in the callback”. This occurs after editing the 64-bit version of the machine.config file.Doing some general searching on this, I cannot find anything that states that attempting to set this element to true will cause issues for Acumatica. Setting it to the default value of false, since the element does not actually exist to begin with, does not cause any issue.

How do I apply a restriction to a user such that they can only see documents for ONE VENDOR, not a Vendor Class, just one vendor in particular.I set up a restriction groupType = AEntity = VENDOR (AP.Vendor)Included in the entity list is our ONE Vendor and the included box is checked only for this Vendor. I set the user to having membership in this restrcition group, but they still see everything. I have looked at the documentation and I’m lost on how this is supposed to work, the A vs B groups and the inversals are confusing me. I just need this user to only see thier purchase orders and no one else’s.

Hi Guys, I am wondering if there are any known issues to do with Access Rights and setting them through the Access Rights By Screen.We had an issue where a sales order was deleted, I then changed the access rights for the sales order screen to insert rather than delete.In turn, this removed the Create Shipment action from view for all of our team…I then reset back the access rights to Granted for the Sales Order ModuleDelete for Sales Order ScreenDelete for the Sales Order (DAC?)Then Edit for the Create Shipment action, both CreateShipment & CreateShipmentIssue. Is this expected behaviour for this, if not what should my next steps be?I have raised this with our VAR but not had a reply for a few days.Any advice would be great! Aleks

How are cells in an excel file mapped so that when you “load records from file” Acumatica knows which cell to map to which field in Acumatica?The values don’t appear on the dropdown menu to select the mapping so I suspect there is config in the backend that needs changed to enable this to work.  As an examplePO Screen Excel file: Load records: When I try to import the file again with the edits, I get as far as here then most of the columns aren't mapped and you can see from the dropdown the only ones which are   Where do I go within Acumatica to configure this?

When editing a purchase order, the order needs to be put “on hold” before the edits can be made.Its super easy to forget to “remove hold” after the order has been saved. Is it possible to change the config so that when an order is saved after editing, the hold is automatically removed?  If someone forgets to remove the hold, the order is essentially invisible which can result in another order being placed as Acumatica thinks the stock is no longer on order. 

How do I enable a document-level discount code for a Customer that must be manually entered on a Sales Order?I created a Discount Type (Group), a Sequence, and applied it to my customer. Now it auto-applies this discount on every sales order for that Customer. I just want it when it is asked for directly by the user. I assume I’m just overlooking a toggle somewhere. Thanks!

Hello Community,I just have installed a new Acumatica instance, but I am not able to login as it shows the following error messages: And the logs for this are: i tried to restart my DB, still not able to resolve the issue

Our main aim is to receive the email notifications during MYOB actions such as purchase order approval and so on. For this activity, we are trying to setup a system email account. To do this, I have already configured ‘External Applications’ and ‘System Applications’. and I am using my own account to do the testing if i receive email or not. While clicking on this ‘Test’ button, Sometimes, I receive email, but some time i don’t. It shows error like ‘451-4.7.0 Temporary Server error’. Has anyone faced this issue before ? What am i missing? This issue is intermittent and can’t know the timing as well. happens randomly. will really appreciate your help.  

How do I deactivate a branch that is no longer being used in a live Tenant.I have gone into the branches and uncheck the active box for the branch I want to de-activate, BUT when I do that and SAVE it goes back to active.

Hello,Is there a way to translate text attributes? I’m currently working on a translation project and was able to find, for example, how Acumatica saves translations for item descriptions and where translations for multi-combo attributes are stored. However, is there a way to translate text attributes?We have multiple text attributes assigned to different stock item classes:  I tried collecting unbound strings in the screen SM200540, but the values for the text attributes are not showing up:  I believe that Acumatica DB is prepared to store translations for this kind of attributes, but not sure how to do it:  I need to create GIs to export the original text in English along with the translations. So far, I’ve created views for the KvExt tables to use them in DACs and have the information available in the GIs. However, I would like to understand if I can populate the translation somehow using the standard solution for text attributes

I would like to force AR Customer accounts to only transact in the currency for which they are set up. I.E. i have set up USD accounts for some customers and only want them to be invoiced and receipted in USD. If the customer wants to transact in another currency, we set up a separate account for them and they need to be restricted to only transact in that currency.  I know that what i am asking for defeats the object of multi currency accounting, but we operate in a strange economy where hyper inflation is a common thing and allowing someone to pay off an invoice raised in local currency, with another currency, opens a risk of arbitrage from our staff which we want to remove. Thanks in advance for any advice offered.   

Hi All, One of our clients has a requirement to have Prefixes to choose from or to type in that have independent Autonumbering Sequences behind it.I know we can handle part of it through Segmented Keys and Values, yet the Autonumbering is Global. What we would need to have is the following:AAA0001AAA0002BBB0001CCC0001AAA0003CCC0002 I hope this makes sense.Are there any solutions in native Acumatica or some recommendations on how to customize this?

What do I install for Acumatica 2024 R1 for Visual Studio 2022 to function properly building Customization Projects?I’ve looked everywhere for some kind of Acumatica SDK or Framework installer or download, but all the documentation is from 2021 and is 3 years old?

Hello Friends We have an Acumatica 2021R1 instance with build 21.116 Using the Apply Updates screen, we are trying to upgrade it to 21.119 build.  Right after the upgrade process is completed, we are seeing this error messageCould not load file or assembly 'PX.Telemetry.Adapter, Version=1.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified. Could you please assist if there is anything that I am missing here on the upgrade or if anything needs to be done before initiating the upgrade?   ThanksSaikumar C
