Access Rights Issues

Hi Guys,

 

I am wondering if there are any known issues to do with Access Rights and setting them through the Access Rights By Screen.

We had an issue where a sales order was deleted, I then changed the access rights for the sales order screen to insert rather than delete.

In turn, this removed the Create Shipment action from view for all of our team…

I then reset back the access rights to 

Granted for the Sales Order Module

Delete for Sales Order Screen

Delete for the Sales Order (DAC?)

Then Edit for the Create Shipment action, both CreateShipment & CreateShipmentIssue.

 

Is this expected behaviour for this, if not what should my next steps be?

I have raised this with our VAR but not had a reply for a few days.

Any advice would be great!

I fixed it, I traced back all my steps and set the rights for all the roles which our users have.

 

To describe a bit more, I pulled up a user, then I used them to map out the roles with most of our team have and traced them all through the ‘access right by screen’ screen, then i set the rights to Edit for the action.

To describe a bit more, I pulled up a user, then I used them to map out the roles with most of our team have and traced them all through the ‘access right by screen’ screen, then i set the rights to Edit for the action.
