We are a Canadian company, and we started taking orders from the US.  Our default currency is CDN; We have enabled multicurrency in Acumatica.  We are using Shopify for the POS and the online store; the Sales Orders sync just fine; however, the payment part is failed to sync with the error “

Inserting 'AR Payment' record raised at least one error. Please review the errors. ARAccountID: Denominated GL Account currency is different from transaction currency.”

We are not sure if we have missed configure anything in the Payment entity.  Hopefully, someone has successfully configured to sync for multicurrency ie. Shopify and Acumatica.  Any suggestions would greatly appreciate!

@dngu Can you confirm what version and build of Acumatica you are using?

We had known issue in 2023R1,2023R2 and 2024R1 which is resolved in 2023R2 update 9 and 2024R1 update 1

AC-297862: On the Payments and Applications (AR302000) form, if a user attempted to create a payment using the denominated currency, the following error message was displayed on the Financial tab for the specified AR account: Denominated GL Account currency is different from transaction currency.

If you are on higher build than mentioned above I encourage you to submit a Case with Acumatica Support.
