Platform - How How to Change Screen Color by TenantI see that this was a suggestion, and it is flagged as shipped. So far, I cannot find any instructions to make these changes. Probably, I am not using the correct terminology. If I can find out what the correct search term is, I can probably find the instructions.Please pass along any useful information you may be able to provide.
I have been roped in to helping configure a current cloud install of Acumatica, and frankly, I’m out of my depth. I have a technical background, but have not used or configured any similar software.I thought that a good approach would be to start with a local installation on my Windows 10 Machine. I use it for video editing, so it’s quite well equipped. That would allow me to play with the company's data set safely in a sandbox. It would also allow me to work my way through Acumatica training guides (A150 looks like a good one to start with).My first question concerns which version of Acumatica to install. The company is using 2021 R2 (Build 21.210.0030), and the A150 lesson seems to need 2022 R1. Do I need to install both versions (one to run A150 lessons, and one to play with the company’s data set)?I decided to start with the download of ERP 2021 R2 Update 4 from the Acumatica site, but it seems to be an earlier version (21.204.0055) than the one we’re running in the cloud. I’m struggling to add a new currency field to my SOLine DAC. ErrorsWhen setting the value on any of the SOLines, if the value is >=100, then I get this error.CustomizationHere’s how I added the custom fields: I created two fields, a UsrSalesRepUnitCost and a UsrCurySalesRepUnitCost, with the following attributes in each. The “Database Scripts” section in the customization project window indicates the both of the custom fields are using the `DECIMAL(8, 4)` datatype, which I would assume would allow values as high as 9999.9999. QuestionsWhy am I getting an error indicating that the value 150.0000 is too large? Have I properly configured the two custom fields to accurately work for representing currency? I couldn’t find any resources in the documentation about creating custom currency fields.
We have a web-hosted Acumatica instance (2021 R2).We use Tasks quite a bit, and we frequently set due dates and although we check the “Reminder” box and set a date, nothing happens. There’s no pop-up, no email, nothing. Essentially, the “Reminder” box is useless to us right now. Apart from setting up my own Business Event that will email people when triggered, I don’t understand how I can get the “Reminder” box to do anything? I found instructions to “Turn on Reminders” https://biofermenergy.acumatica.com/(W(1))/Help?CompanyID=BIOFerm+Energy&ScreenId=ShowWiki&pageid=667e2765-09c0-4800-a02d-0e225b8203e1, but these instructions seem to only work with locally-hosted setups of the ERP (hence the topic being underneath the tree of System Administration/Maintaining Acumatica ERP Locally). I could not find equivalent setup instructions for web-hosted ERP… Can anyone help?
I have a client using Acumatica MFA with the option to only require a code on new or unknown devices only. It seems that Acumatica is requesting the code nearly every time even though they are logging in using the same computer.Has anyone experienced this of have any suggestions?We have tried changing browser settings to allow all cookies but still no luck.
Hi All,Need help to figure out why the Automation Schedule are not working, we are not in lock out mode but still we are getting error as “Automation Schedule scenario has not been performed due to the database lockout”. Please help us.I think this is happening from yesterday after we published new customization package. Below are the steps we followed when doing package publish first put in lockout mode, then took snapshot then deleted the snapshot, then removed the lockout modethen again, when i was about to publish the package, i put in lockout mode again and published the package then removed from lockout mode
I am trying to setup Audit History on the Access Rights by Role form. I have the Audit form configured and active. When I view the Audit History on the Access Rights by Role I am not seeing the changes that were made to the role. I am receiving the dialogue box that appears when audit is not setup? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks..coleen
I have DeviceHub configured successfully with printers, but when I add a usb scale it exceeds the API request limit all on its own after a minute or two. Seems like devicehub is updating the SMScale table with the scale weight, but then forgetting to log itself out after??Does anyone have any ideas? TY!!
Hello Friends We have an Acumatica 2021R1 instance with build 21.116 Using the Apply Updates screen, we are trying to upgrade it to 21.119 build. Right after the upgrade process is completed, we are seeing this error messageCould not load file or assembly 'PX.Telemetry.Adapter, Version=18.104.22.168, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified. Could you please assist if there is anything that I am missing here on the upgrade or if anything needs to be done before initiating the upgrade? I have 4 companies, i want 3 companies to share 1 list and 4th company to have a separate list, which should not be visible to the first 3.I don’t want to create user roles for it or restriction groups.Is there any other way i can achieve it?Thank you.
hi everybody,i set the “From” adress in our ShipmentConfirmationNotification to “versand@”, but it will always be overwritten by the user profile email settings of the automated sender, in this case “info@”. Does anybody know how to avoid this? Thank you!!Best Regards, Benjamin
Is there an Acumatica method to merge two tenants into one which are currently in the same database?Client has multiple companies and multiple branches in two separate tenants, is it possible to merge the two tenants into one, if they share the same Chart of Accounts and same periods? If not, Is there a script that can be run to bring the master records together with just the settings without transactions?
We received an interesting Support case today from James Harris (LiveViewTech) where a large volume of emails processing was giving the following error message on every email after the first several dozen: “Too many login attempts, please try again later.” The failed emails when opened had the error: “Unable to write data to the transport connection: An established connection was aborted by the software in your host machine.” The system administrators tried everything that they could think of, including the suggestion from the Acumatica Support tech’s Chat to consider that GMail had locked the account. (It wasn’t locked, however. In fact, this actually was the first thing that they checked, even before it was recommended by the Support tech.) They tried restarting the server, using an SMTP relay, exploring several proposed online solutions for this error message, etc. But, nothing worked. There is a default Physical Inventory reason code in Inventory Preferences. I have approximately 20 different Physical Inventory Types generated by Item Class. When you select “GENERATE PI” in “Prepare Physical Count” it always pulls the default reason code from Inventory Preferences. I need a different reason code for each of the Item Class Inventory Types. Does anyone know if there is a way to set this up so you don’t have to change the default reason code every time before selecting “GENERATE PI” (in “Prepare Physical Count”) ?
