Solved

I have been running Acumatica 22r1 and 23r1 instances on my Windows 11 Pro work computer for months.  Tonight, I tried to publish my 23.110.0025 project, and I suddenly started getting errors with the path being too long.  It appears that on the 16th (2 days ago) Microsoft pushed out a Windows Configuration Update which I suspect is the culprit.Error:[2023-09-19 02:12:09.674] Patching the file C:\Projects\SSCS_23_110_0025\Customization\SSCS_23_110_0025\SSCS_23_110_0025Validation\SSCS_23_110_0025Website\CstPublished\Pages_SS\SSCS1000.aspx.cs[2023-09-19 02:12:17.038] System.Exception: An error occurred while copying files to the temp directory ---> System.IO.PathTooLongException: The specified path, file name, or both are too long. Hello,My company and I are having trouble pulling in the sales tax at the document level for the 1099 Year Details (AP654500) report in the Payables Module. Would anyone have any ideas how to pull not only the bill detail amount, but the bill total including tax total. We have tried enabling the pay by line feature on the vendor and vendor class, but that didn’t solve our issue. Thank you, and I would appreciate any insight into this!Example:

We’ve entered our count and are now reviewing it via the Physical Inventory Review and a GI from the same info. I’m curious as to why we’re not seeing any values in the “Estimated Ext. Variance Cost” field? I can imagine that the “Final” value will populate once it’s completed, but how we get that Estimated Variance in order to review before completing it?

Hello,I’m a prospective Acumatica customer.I’m wondering how people are finding the functionality for time keeping?  We have lots of staff on hourly payroll and we need a system that will track total hours for the day and time on work orders.Ie. Clock in at 8am, clock in/out of service orders throughout the day, downtime in between, and end of day.I’m finding info on adding time to jobs but less info on overall time management.  We use clock shark today.  It’s easy for employees and managers to see total time per day/week by person and then the details for what was on a job vs. travel and admin.Thank you in advance for your thoughts!Robert Lee

I am aware that Acumatica allows 1099 reporting.  Is there a particular 1099 form number that is best formatted to work with Acumatica?

We have an intercompany vendor that we purchase goods from without any tax impact. The vendor is tax exempt, but when we issue a PO, it is generated with tax. When we generate interco sales order, it is generated without tax. Any idea why the PO would be getting created with tax? The item on the PO is a taxable item as it is taxable to the end customer.

Working an import scenario for BOM details which include both header BOM information and materials on the BOM within the same Excel. The Excel file is set up which row type 0 including header information and row type 4-8 including the materials on the BOM.   How do I set up the import scenario so I populate the header level information (for example the BOM description) based on information sitting within the row for TYP = 0.  I’ve tried some IF statements but not achieving what I need.

I have several supplier performance GIs that show outstanding items and due dates and would love to be able to set the GI to be extracted as Excel or CSV and emailed to a specific address each day. To be clear, each supplier has their own GI so it is not like i need to filter the GI based on supplier - all results in the GI can go on the same email.

Hey Everyone, If I have a stock item, HHH000BX0001, and there are multiple artwork version created (physically), how can I differentiate those versions in Acumatica while still keeping only 1 ID? I’d like to avoid using the LOT/PO function if possible.  Being able to use only 1 ID will allow to track cost under only 1 ID version having to filter and consolidate multiple ID’s.

As a newcomer to the Acumatica environment, I'm currently navigating the process of transferring our locally hosted Acumatica Production data to our Test environment. The aim is to refresh the Test environment as part of our preparations for an upcoming upgrade. At present, the data in our Test environment is outdated, and we need to ensure that it aligns with the latest information from Production. While we have customizations in place, I'm seeking a comprehensive, step-by-step guide that can walk me through the backup and deployment procedures. My goal is to gain a clear understanding of the necessary actions to successfully transfer and deploy a fresh copy of data from our Production environment to our Test environment.Any guidance or insights into this process would be immensely appreciated.

Hi,We have created two custom fields to get invoice numbers. These fields are not visible in the UAT environment but are visible in the production environment.  When I move the field to a different column, this happens.  But these fields remain visible in the Production environment even after we publish this customization project to Production. does anyone know what causes this and how to fix this?Thank you.

Hi All, I was trying to generate Custom Weeks for 2024 Year using the Time and Expenses Preferences Screen.  But when I save the above records, the below error is occurring. After investigating the issue, I found that there are already few records containing weekIDs of 2024 in the database(EPCustomWeek table) for previous year as below.   I suspect that this should be the reason for above mentioned error message. Any idea on this? How can I solve this issue? Thanks

Looking for a way to show a list of Sales Orders where the Production Orders tied to it all have a Status of completed. Does anyone have a suggestion on how to group/sort this?

Hello,I am trying to access OData to eventually pipe data to Excel but I cannot get my credentials to work.  I am using the URL http://<application site domain>/odata/We only have one company so there is nothing to add after ‘odata/’, although I’ve tried that as well.I am then prompted for credentials and I enter my Acumatica username and password, and the credentials are invalid.  I have checked the box for OData4 User for my username. What am I missing here? Thanks!

I’m using the default out-of-the-box AP bills import scenario. When I try to import more than 1 record, the first record imports successfully, but the next one fails with this error:If i import 1 at a time, it works. I have the key fields mapped.I have attached the import scenario. What change needs to be made to import more than 1 at a time? Thank you in advance for your help!

We are using several user defined fields with the combo control type. We just came across an issue where a value from the dropdown was incorrectly selected. We are able select another option in the dropdown, but cannot remove the data to change the field back to blank/empty. The weird thing is we have one UDF set up the same as all the others, that allows us to highlight and remove the data, but it’s the only one out of several. Has anyone else had this issue, or know what might be causing it and how to fix?

Afternoon guys, Hope you’re all amazing! I am attempting to automate our ‘Add Order’ to shipment. I have got the Import Scenario and GI working but can’t seem to figure how I can get a business event to trigger when the GI is populated. The GI works by detecting items which have been manufactured (moved) and are allocated to a sales order.Below is the BE:BE history below too:If anyone has any suggestions, they are greatly appreciated and welcomed! Thanks in advance! Aleks

My local development with Acumatica ERP 23R1 (any version) does not display Trace detailsin the improved Trace window when opened on a page via the Tools » Trace option. It shows No records found.Has anyone else encountered this issue? The Improved Trace works fine on our development server, but not under localhost/iis.

I’m creating testing in the TestSDK and one of my operations runs over 12 to 15 minutes.  I’m getting a timeout error:WaitTimeoutException: Timed out waiting for the WaitForLongOperationToComplete condition within the specified timeout: 360000msIf I only run the process for a few records, it works fine so it is not a problem with the actual code in my project.  Is there any way I can change this timeout limit or is this a “selenium” limitation?

My customize code working fine but when we use software more a week, this block of code stop working. But if we restart IIS service, it start working gain. Could you advice how to do it

Hello,I can’t figure out how to populate this field through an import scenario. I’m trying to automate the closure of opportunities (Action: Close as won), but I won’t be able to do that until I can map to this field.any help?

Hello, I would like to create a processing screen which will check a group of invoices, if an invoice has a file attached then the files will be added to a zip file. The user will download the zip file. I’ve found a document which explains how to use zip files in Acumatica, link below:https://www.acumatica.com/blog/zipped-up-acumatica-manipulating-files-part-1-zip/It suggests using an object called ZipArchive in the following way using (ZipArchive zip = ZipArchive.CreateFrom(zipStream, false)){ using (MemoryStream fileStream = new MemoryStream()) { fileStream.Seek(0, SeekOrigin.Begin); file.Write(fileStream); fileStream.Seek(0, SeekOrigin.Begin); zip.AddFile(fileName, fileStream.ToArray()); }}I cannot find the ZipArchive type, does anyone know which references and/or ‘using’ statements is required? The article suggests using PX.Common.Std, I have a reference to this file but I still cannot access ZipArchive. Thanks

I’m creating a business event that will notify our Payroll Department every time a job is marked certified, however I’m running into an issue getting the correct information in the “To” line of the email template. I created the GI with all the information that is needed, but there isn’t a field I can reference where the correct email address would pull from as it will always need to go to the same email address.I saw a video the other day where an extra column was added to the GI for the email address and set with a fixed result.  I’ve added this to my GI, but when I test, the email is not going through, and now I can’t find the video to troubleshoot. It would be great if I could just enter the email address itself into the “To” line, but from my understanding that is not possible. Any suggestions? Thanks for your help!
