Hi! Is there a way to do dropshipments for service orders? We’re looking for functionality similar to sales orders where a line can be marked for PO and dropshipped.

Hello,There are two areas that I have questions about:1) My existing code logic locates my two action menu items "CREATE CUSTOMER TEST" and "CREATEVENDOR TEST" in the "Other" section of the "dot dot dot" menu (below). How can I relocate those menu items to the "Record Creation" section?2) The same code that adds the action menu items to the "dot dot dot" menu also adds the two menu items to the main toolbar menu.Is there a was to hide the menu items so that they are not visible on the main toolbar menu but still visible in the "dot dot dot" menu?Thank you in advance.Ken Severud  My code behind:  

I am working on a Field Services customization which adds an extra state to the appointment workflow for a particular service order type. The state, called “Ready to Bill”, sits between Completed and Closed. I have an action defined in a graph extension of FSAppointmentEntry which runs some custom billing logic. The intent is to have users run this action before they can close a completed appointment, so that the detail lines are updated based on our business rules and the charges are all correct. The action itself is working perfectly.The problem I have? No matter what I do, I cannot get the UI button for the action to actually transition the state of the appointment. I followed the instructions in the open university course W150 and the wiki:Extend System Workflow Add new state Add existing action (picked my action, defined in code, from the list) Add my action to the Completed state Add transition to the Completed stateThe instructions just end here, as if that is all you need to do

Hello Everyone,We have a multi-company client that makes intercompany sales/purchases for the same items between multiple different companies. Intercompany Sales Order generation requires a default warehouse for the creation of the Sales Order.  Customer and Stock Item default warehouses do not work becuase the same stock item could be sold to multiple different intercompany customers.Is there a way to default the warehouse by the selling branch?   Thank you!Luke

I created a business event based on Vendor Price changes which executes an import scenariio to update a stock item custom field.  The user has delete access to both Vendor Prices and Stock Items however the business event does not fire.  If an admin changes the vendor price, the business event fires???Does a user have to have access rights to both the BE and the import scenario subscriber?  I an not aware this is required since other business event fire.

Is there a way to see the quantity as a supply on the destination warehouse on a transfer order.You can see the deduction on the source warehouse from the TR, but the destination warehouse doesn’t seem to account for the quantity coming in from the the TR order. For example, if one warehouse is sending 2 to another warehouse, you can see the 2 being deducted. However, I don’t see a column for the destination warehouse for 2 as a supply quantity. 

How can I customize the system to not allow a user to change the Branch if certain conditions are met?  

I am creating a GI where I want to show GL account wise period wise and branch wise ending balance and turnover amount .Column A     |  Column B  | Column C |   Column D           | Column FGL Account  |  Period       | Branch      | Ending Balance    | Turnover amount   In the above GI (also attached the XML file ) , the ending balance and turnover amount for each GL account is not showing the correct data when compared with the Account Details screen.  

Hi,We upgraded to Acumatica Cloud ERP 2022 R2 Build 22.212.0046, and since  then we are getting this error every now and then. Our users are getting tired of this already.Any one experiencing the same issue? 

Hello, Has anyone had issues with this? Acumatica is not importing all types of transactions from the BAI2 file. Specifically transactions coded to 495 but we are now going through and double checking to see if there are others.

What is the FSSODet.SiteLocationID default logic? Can this only default from the Inventory Item or can there be a customer or warehouse default?When I add an Inventory Item to a Service Order the warehouse populated from Branch Location Default (i think) FSBranchLocation.DftSiteID but the SiteLocationID never defaults.This isnt an issue for manual entry of Service Orders, I can just set the value. Adding stock items to Service Contracts...im running into issues generating the schedule.Any guidance would be appreciated!

Does anyone know why the Cost Code is not defaulting when I assign Staff Members in Appointments, even though I'm using the Default Cost Code on the Default Project Task?This is preventing us from using the Calendar Board to have our scheduler assign technicians to unassigned appointment while scheduling. We receive the following error…“Error: 'Cost Code' cannot be empty. Please specify the default cost code for the related service order type.” 

Consider the following scenario that based on my understanding will work as described.  EMail comes into an Outlook Inbox.  From this message the user uses the Acumatica Outlook Add-In to CREATE CASE.  The case is created and the email is listed in the ACTIVITIES of the case.  From this point forward for the case, the user wants to handle all communication from inside the case.  If the user replies to the initial email from within the case screen ACTIVITIES, that email reply does not get tagged with the [Case ########]?  If the person who gets that email replies, even though we have Incoming EMail Processing turned on for that email account, since there is no tag of [Case #######] in the subject, it will not automatically get linked to that case?  Am I understanding this correctly?  If so, how do others handle this?  Do you just manually add [Case #######] to the initial reply so that all future emails in this chain are processed and linked correctly?  Did you create a customization to

On Process Shipments page, can you only process shipments for that current date (or prior?)  Not any shipments in the future?   We will be closed for a couple weeks and would like to process shipments early  (That will be picked up by UPS while we’re closed)  we would like to keep the scheduled shipment date as actual date UPS picks it up..  For invoice, billing, etc.I see how when creating a shipment you can create for scheduled shipment date.   Also, invoicing.  Prior to releasing you can change the ship date that automatically  adjusts the net30 and posting period.It’s seems like the only hiccup is printing the labels.    

I have created a restriction group to restrict Balance Sheet GL accounts to be accessed only in one branch, this works as expected, but can we exclude one user from this group, so that the user can access all GL Accounts from all branches

Hello Community!!In classic UI, We used to have an attribute (InventoryItem.PAM0000151_Attributes) as a parameter, so that user would be able to filter the results in the report by this parameter. In classic UI the user could view the parameter as a drop down field:Now with modern UI, the parameter won’t show up.This is how the parameter is set in the report designer:Any help is really appreciated.

Need to know how to correct Fixed Assets Accounts on the GL Accounts section that is greyed out.  The accounts should have been 14380 - Vehicles - Automobiles instead of 14385 - Vehicles - Other and Accumulated Depreciation Account should have been 14525 - A/D - Vehicles - Automobiles.  I tried changing the Asset Class on the General tab and it said it would update GL accounts but did not update those above.  Vehicle was placed in service on 11/3/23 and has been depreciated for two months. 

Hi,When I tried to install Acumatica 26 R1 local instance, I got below error.How can I fix this. 

I enabled the Staff Name field on the Service Order screen detail Grid. This is an existing database field that was not previously available in the UI. After adding the control, I am able to see the field in the Classic UI; however, it is not visible in the Modern UI. Do anyone enable data fields to Modern UI.  

Good day CommunityI have modified the Journal Transactions GL report in Report Writer to display the VAT code for AR, AT or CA batches. This formula needed to be changed after the upgrade to 2026 R1 t dislay correctly. Old firmula is commented out in the below.=Switch( [GLTran.Module] = 'AP', [APTax.TaxID], [GLTran.Module] = 'AR', [ARTax.TaxID],[GLTran.Module] = 'CA', [CATax.TaxID],([GLTran.Module] <> 'AP' or [GLTran.Module] <> 'AR' or [GLTran.Module] <> 'CA'),'CheckModule')/*IIf([GLTran.Module] = 'AP', [APTran.TaxID], IIf([GLTran.Module] = 'AR', [ARTran.TaxID], ''))*/This appeared to work perfectly but we have discovered that it is dropping the VAT Code from some lines in the report.  Please can you check to see if the formula is correct (is asses validation) and why some of these transactions are missing the VAT code on the report.Many thanks on advance.

Is there a way to refresh the cache for a particular GI?  I’m noticing that the IN-StockItem GI used in the Stock Item view (IN2025PL screen ID)  is showing an invalid Brand name (doesn’t match the Brand Name attribute on the actual item page): 

Hope I can get some help with this. Using an export scenario to create a CSV file, data is populated from a GI. Dates in the the GI are shown without a timestamp but when the data is prepared, any date field has a timestamp. Is there anyway to stop that being created, my customer is using the CSV for a file upload to their bank and it fails on the timestamp.

Hello! My company is new to Field Services. Sometimes we want to over ride the contact, but ONLY want it to modify the contact box area, NOT the Address info. ALSO, sometimes when I pick a contact I want it to be the contact persons email and phone number, and sometimes I want it to be the basic company contact information. This would likely require a check box customization to choose which decision needs to be made for that specific service order. Any guidance on Out of the Box or customization is appreciated   

Hi Everyone, When we engage with Acumatica Support, we are asked to disable our MFA for the Acumatica Support user. Our company has been hacked via Acumatica before, and we will not disable the 2FA for users. I’m surprised that Acumatica asks us to disable it for them - surely Acumatica understands the importance of robust security, right?Our current plan is to update the support account email to be the email of the specific person helping us, so they can get the emails with the authentication codes. Does anyone have any better ideas? Or know why the direction from Acumatica is to disable critical security?
