I have seen a few older articles on this but we are on Acumatica 2024 R2 and I’m not sure what is causing the issue. We are getting a warning, ‘taxes not up to date’ in Field Services (Service Orders and Appointments).  We are using Avalara as the external tax provider.  If we try to close the order or appointment, we get a actual error “Failed to get taxes from external tax provider.”I’m able to make the issue go away by unchecking and re-checking the override address box but this does not seem logical as I’m not really changing anything.  The customer address was validated and not changed. This seems like a bug but wanted to put it out here to see if anyone with Acumatica version 2024 and Avalara have experienced the same issue.

I was hoping that someone could help me out with a customized field issue with the project quotes. I amtrying to add a field to the top of the quote screen (Call Number) in the example below. I will type in the call number, hit save and then everything will look fine. Once I leave this screen and go back in the call number disappears. I have tried multiple customization projects and have tried different customization fields with no success. I have done the exact same process in the projects side and have had no issues. Does anyone have any ideas on how to solve this?  

We have never used the Depart/Travel time feature of Appointments because it only works one way (traveling to the customer). We wanted to start requiring signatures from customers. Once I started doing some trial runs of the signature feature I found out that the appointment has to be fully filled out for the signature to stick. If there are any changes or corrections to the appointment, the signature is gone. This makes sense but it also makes it unusable for us since we have our technicians log their time back to the office.Is there anyone else using one or both of these features (using the depart logging, using the signature) that can explain how they made it work for them?

The goal is to leverage the width given earlier in configuration and a bottom spreader type selection to include a target option. So WIDTH = 36, BST = ‘ST’; Thus target option is BST36. My initial thought was to create a rule under the BST attribute like so:Include, Custom Condition,  Value 1: =([width]=36 And [bst] = ‘ST’, True, False), etcBut I’ll get an error when trying to run a test config when referencing the attribute I am creating a rule inside. I think it doesn’t like referencing itself ([bst] being the attribute in this case)To make things even more odd, I was able to do this on the attribute above this one, but this one is the last one and for some reason it just keeps throwing this error. Thoughts? Edit: Upon further investigation, I found that the test configurator doesn’t like having custom conditions that reference attributes that have not yet been defined. So I can use the formula above in the condition but only if there is a default value for that attribute already set

I have been trying to create Automation Schedules for the Generic InquiryBut I am getting the error of“Graph Name can not be empty”.   This screen can not be automated, although the screenID was not empty while saving  Generic Inquiry is created from the Customization Project, where Custom DAC is created from “View”(xnxv_GlobalAPReport) in SQL 

In this ‘Location’ tab I have a problem with filtering the column.Anytime I filter the column to what I need.This is the result I getit is very clear that HYDFLOOR 1 is in the columnIt only happens with the Location column. The location is been pulled from INTran 

Has anyone come up with a solution to automatically email the contents of an Acumatica Dashboard as a PDF attachment? I think it would be cool to automatically deliver the information in Dashboards to users via email without them having to login to Acumatica.

HI,I am trying to approve the document sales order. I have added my self in approval map. But still it says you are not authorized to approve. Can anyone guide me please which permissions I am missing? I am system admin too. i want to approve it using import scenario after this error resolved.

Hi All,I have been adding some User Defined Fields to our AP Invoices today. I would like the user to be required to select from a list of Sales invoices for one of them so I used the Schema Selector option. However, nothing shows in the list for the selection.I have read this previous topic, but I’m not sure I understand if I’m using an Attribute or a UDF as I am setting up both. I began by creating an Attribute:AttributeAnd then a UDF, however nothing shows in the drop down menu. Can anyone give me any hints?Thank you.Helen​​​​​​​

Hi everyone,I’m facing a strange issue in a customization for POOrderEntry.I have a custom DAC TwTransportThl linked to POOrder by OrderType/OrderNbr, displayed in a grid under a “Transport” tab.The DAC includes fields like CountryID, State, AddressLine1, TransportType, etc.The behavior:When I change CountryID the first time  everything works fine, one row is updated and TransportType stays as selected.When I change CountryID again and saves the grid suddenly shows two rows  and TransportType resets to the default value “LO” (from [PXDefault]).If I delete that default, the field becomes empty.Tseems related to postback/CommitChanges

Hi, we’re trying to access external images in our local acumatica instance using report designer but it is not showing. here’s how we did it:  

I’ve set up a business event to send out a report (attached below) once a week with a list of people. The report works fine when called on the site and brings up the right data, however, when called via the pictured Business Event, it produces a unique file (numbering in the hundreds) for every single client in the table, including the ones that should be ignored by the filter. I’ve attached images of the Business Event and Email template in addition to the report. Any help on locating the source of the issue?

I have created a customization to convert a PO created from the Requisitions screen to a Project-Drop Ship PO.  It would be nice if that was an option on the requisitions screen, but it is not.When you create an order from the requisitions screen, it creates a standard PO.  I have an action on the Purchase Orders screen to convert it to a Project-Drop Ship PO.  The code is hacky, but it works.After the action completes, the PO screen is cleared ready for a new PO.  I want to redisplay the screen with the PO that was just converted.  It is a pain for the user to have to lookup the PO again after it was converted.I’ve tried MANY ways to try to do a PXRedirect back to the PO screen but I cannot quite get it working.If I do the convert, my current redirect sort of works.  The details grid gets populated, but the header fields do not.  If you click Cancel, it fills the fields.  I don’t know how I can click Cancel programmatically after the redirect.This is what the screen looks like after t

I already setup user role like the screenshot. Actually I don’t give user an access to Account Payable. But why a user still can insert data of Account Payable? 

I’m trying to change the Lot/Serial Class on a few stock items from LOTTRACKED to USER.When the items are allocated on Sales Orders, I get the expected error message:“IN Error: The lot/serial class of the xyz item cannot be changed because this item is allocated in the Sales Order SO1234 document.”After I deallocate the xyz item from all Sales Orders, I get a different message saying the Lot/Serial Class cannot be changed because the item has inventory.I went a step further and cleared out all the inventory, but the system still won’t let me change the Lot/Serial Class. My understanding is that once there are completed transactions (receipts, issues, shipments, etc.), Acumatica “freezes” the Lot/Serial Class to preserve transaction history.Before I commit to a solution, can anyone confirm if:This really means the Lot/Serial Class is locked forever once transactions exist, even if inventory = 0. The only supported approach is to create a new stock items with the desired Lot/Serial Class

I am trying to use a UDF attached to the customer for a numeric field (1-10) to subtract days from a date field (=DateAdd([SOOrder.RequestDate], 'd', -[Customer.AttributeCUSTRANSIT])), If I use a Number in place of the Attribute this works fine, I need to have the attribute value so this is dynamic by customer order. (Note: I am already using Lead time for another function, and this is a separate calculation). I have tried all the operators and cannot get anything that will use the attribute field in the calculation. I am open to any suggestions!

Hi Team, We have a requirement where we are using the Acumatica OpenAPI Specification to make API calls to Acumatica. We are able to find and use the standard operations such as Create, Get, Update, and Delete for various entities. However, we couldn’t find any specification or endpoint for retrieving files or image data associated with these entities. Using the Contract-Based API and the Files entity, we are able to retrieve file data successfully. However, we are unable to locate the Files entity within the OpenAPI Specification. Could you please guide us on how we can achieve the same functionality using the OpenAPI Specification?

I have insert data in View (which is Temporary DAC) on LoadDelegate. But when use navigation it is not load the data.  When accessing a production order through the Production Order Detail menu, it is possible to view and edit the Order Attributes. However, after navigating among orders using the header arrows and returning to the same order, the Order Attributes are no longer visible. They only become visible again after reloading the page.   Example :-    

Is there an existing report in Acumatica that calculates the Average Days to Pay for Customers?   Needing a report that shows the metrics of payments for our Net 30 accounts.    

I updated our production site a couple of days ago and have encountered a strange issue where the site still works, the GIs, reports and customizations all still work, the updates screen is showing the correct version, the server is showing the correct version for the site and the database but the login screen says “Last update was unsuccessful”. I’ve tried running the update again and it does not show the correct update date, it still shows the original one from two days ago and the update history does not show a timestamp for when the update finished. Any ideas on what I can do to get rid of the error message and ensure that there is nothing wrong with the site? 

Hello!I have a concern related to bank reconciliations, where the supplier payment (Salary for Internal employees or external supplier payments for multiple Bills) made as a single entry in Acumatica is recorded with multiple lines in Bank Statement as the payment is going for different accounts (Salary for internal employees) or for different invoices (External Supplier Payments). Currently, I am unable to reconcile the Bank Statement transaction line with multiple payment lines of Acumatica due to the reason bank statement line is not fully matched with Acumatica payment. Is there any way that I can handle with this or a workaround that adjusting the Bank Statement manually and importing it to the “Import Bank Transactions” screen?Thank You!
