Hi Experts,One of our customers looking for adding notes from mobile app to the multiple screens like Sales Order, SO shipment, Sales Quote, Purchase Orders, Purchase Receipts etc.I would appreciate your response in this case. Thank you.  

We manufacture electronic products that we also sell to customers.We have set up various item classes for the components (electronics, mechanical etc.) and have created a separate item class for the finished items.We don’t want to the sales team to accidently add a subassembly or component to a quote/sales order - to minimise errors. The finished items item class is essentially for all of the items on our price list.It was an idea to set everything in the ‘finished items’ item class to Active, and to set all of the items in the various other item classes to No Sales.But it doesn’t seem to be possible to define the default Item Status in the Item Class settings?Whenever a new stock item is added, regardless of the item class, the default status is Active and it would need to be changed to No Sales each time?

Here is my issue:BOM is configured correctly and all components are in stock Creating a prod order in the “prod order maint” for the quantitiesOnce the order is released, click the “...” and release the materials for the orderThis usually creates the materials batch transaction, but it doesn’t create a batch or even display any of the components to be allocated to the Production Orders. I replicated the same issue for the same item with a much larger qty. Moving the wizards to the workspace via site map, i can see the production order in the Material Wizard 1 , but when selecting the order, it does the same thing once pushed to Material Wizard 2

I could’ve sworn that when an SO Line gets created for a new combination of stock item + Warehouse, it automatically adds this to the Item Warehouse Detail table. Maybe I was dreaming though, or mixing that up with InSiteStatus. Now we’re discovering a bunch of Sales Order Lines w/ no “cost” because an Item Warehouse Detail row doesn’t exist for that Warehouse (even though a Current Cost exists on the Stock Item profile). Similar to the “Recalculate Prices” action on the Sales Order screen, is there (or could there easily be) a “Recalculate Costs” action? I’d like to avoid deleting a line and recreating it just to get the cost to retroactively fill in.Have any other customers, who deal with multiple warehouses, found a good solution to this problem? I guess I assumed that Acumatica was doing more intelligent automations on the back-end to ensure standard cost data integrity, but I guess not. 

Looking for some best practices or trainings on how to use the projected cost to complete functionality in Acumatica? Looking to update the cost to complete on a monthly basis on each job and for it to flow to the WIP.  Thank you in advance for your help!!

Hello, we have a service ticket system that runs on a MS SQL server.  This system needs to see our part numbers and prices.Our old Sage 300 ERP also ran on the MS SQL server, so it was easy to see the data.  We would like this same functionality with our new Acumatica system.I considered looking into an automated export to Excel, and I guess this would be fine.  We don’t update prices often, but there will still be a case where we update a price and 5 minutes later the service ticket asks for it. Does anyone have a suggestion for this?

Hi everyone-We are working on implementing shipping integration but we have an issue with how Acu handles ‘boxes’. The dimensions of the box used to ship, and thus the dimensions used to generate the shipping label, seem to only be able to be specified in the ‘Boxes’ configuration screen.You can enter weight on a shipment, but you can not enter custom dimensions on a shipment, you have to select one of the pre-set box dimensions.Everything we ship is a different dimension, we do not have pre-set or standard boxes, so we need to specify the dimensions of the shipment for every shipment. I was wondering if anyone has had any ideas on solving this, or if anyone has a customization to add Length, Width, and Height fields to the ‘Packages’ tab of the ‘Shipments’ screen that override the dimensions of the selected Box ID? Thank you!!

Team, I am struggling to explain Unposted Journal Transactions. I know there are some issues and some scenarios explained, but for normal people, why there is unposted transactions on the system? They are random, and can have a good explanation for my client, every now and then, when closing the month, there will be uposted journal transactions, and there will be no good answer for those. I have put a schedule to post every night unposted transactions to see if the problem goes away, but still want to have a good answer for them. Thank you. 

I have a Generic Inquiry that pulls Customer Sales by Sales Area. The inquiry is working fine and I have an associated Pivot table that shows the Customer Name, Customer Number, and the Order Totals by Posting Period. What I would like to do is be able to link either the Customer Name, and / or the Customer Number so allow the user to do a Drill Down on that specific customer. I’ve been unable to find any information on how to do this or if it can be done.Thank you for any assistance.

we have scheduled a report template to email it to user, but facing a problem where system is still printing and sending blank report if there are no records, so how we can stop it ? 

We have a customer that ships in varied box sizes as well as custom sizes to accommodate their products.  The Package entry screen does not allow the user to change the dimensions and there is no option for entering a box on the fly.  How have other users handled this in the Integrated Shipping?

We have certain Sales Orders that will include many items and will be shipped out in groups over a 15-45 day period. I’m struggling with the Shipping Rules. When the shipping rule is Cancel Remainder, the entire SO will be marked as Complete after the first partial shipment. The SO must remain Open as we are required to ship additional items on this SO. When the shipping rule is Back Order Allowed or Ship Complete, we receive an error message on partial shipment.I understand this error message on Ship Complete, but why would this error be there on Back Order Allowed? How can I configure this SO type so it can handle multiple shipments? Acumatica 2021 R2Build 21.220.0010

We are new to the platform.  We are experiencing difficulties when trying to sync returns from Shopify.  We are getting the error message: The following tax identifiers from the external system could not be matched: PA STATE TAX. The ERP has failed to save the tax ID or the tax amount differs from the one that has been expected. Make sure that taxes are configured for the tax zone and tax categories. Also, make sure that taxes either have the same identifiers in the ERP and external system or are mapped on the Substitution Lists (SM206026) form. Has anyone experienced this issue and how do we correct the issue?  We are currently manually entering all returns into Acumatica at this point. We do not experience this problem with a normal order or with a POS return.

I was expecting that the GDPR feature would allow user to identify and the secure private fields.It currently hides the names and contact addresses but not the most private field such as SSN.Is there a method to select which fields get blocke?  Can this be addressed soon to help clients avoid liability issues?

We use the EasyPost API to ship Fedex.  This provides a Tracking URL but I’m not able to copy it so as to paste it into an email to a customer.  I tried right-click, I tried to select it and Copy-C, nothing seems to work.  I am using Chrome.Please see attached screenshot.  I can click on it myself, which is useful, but I can’t give the link to anyone else.
