It would be nice to create the Prepayment as a “request” to send to the customer. But the Sales Order status remains as Awaiting Prepayment until the Prepayment is Released. While the Prepayment is still Balanced, that would indicate that the payment is not yet received.  A workaround is to create the Prepayment in AR Payments and don’t link to the Sales order until after payment is received. But this requires more effort on the part of AR team and making sure they link to the correct Sales Order.Is there any way to control this?  To leave the Sale Order Awaiting Prepayment until the Prepayment linked to the Sales Order is Released?

Hi,I wanted to see if there were separate rules for INSiteStatus vs. INLocationStatus’ QtyAvail fields?INSiteStatus returns a value for QtyAvail that matches the INventory Allocation summary in that it deducts ON Issue, Allocated and BAckordered - which are defined in our default calculation rules.For INLocationStatus, it is only deducting the on issue amount but not allocated / backordered. is this an incorrect behavior that we need to correct or done on purpose?ThanksJoseph

I’m trying to pull one character out of the PMProject.ContractCD field in Report Designer.  Using this expression...=Substring(CStr([PMProject.ContractCD]), 5, 1)...a “0” is always shown no matter what number is in the numeric 8 position field.  This expression DOES work in a GI, however, and pulls the correct digit.  How can I get this to work in Report Designer?   

Creating a construction schedule - calendar view or Gant view displaying each project and the duration. This could be a separate screen or a widget option within a dashboard. Having the calendar view would our company to see gaps in work and the scheduling of project teams (site supers, project managers and admin, and subcontractors). We currently need to use a third party resource to accomplish this task.

I have this GI that is looking at SO Lines. I am wanting to restrict which SO Line is showed based on the site ID. I heard (correct me if I am wrong) that if I can filter via the relations table, the GI can run faster (vs using the conditions tab or creating filters in the user facing GI). But I can’t seem to make it work. I’ve tried every variation I know (hence lines 2 and 3 are different in the child field. If creating this filter in the conditions tab will the direction I should go, then I don’t even need to link the SOLine and INSite tables.

Hello Community,Could you help me with code that allows me to create a discount code and then apply it to a sales order?I am creating the discount code, and it is being created correctly — all the data is saved properly in both the header and the details. However, when I try to apply it to a sales order, the discount code is not applied: the sequence ID is not generated automatically, and when I set the sequence ID manually, the type is not set. By contrast, if I create the same discount manually and apply it to a sales order, all the fields are saved correctly.  

Hi everyone,I’m working on an import scenario for the Shipments screen (SO302000) to upload serial numbers on the Line Details screen.Right now, my scenario finds the shipment and uploads the serial numbers — but all serial numbers are ending up on the first shipment line, regardless of which item they belong to.What is the proper way to configure this import scenario,

Hi All,Acumatica's Production Cycle for a manufactured product consists of 2 major steps: 1) produce volume first and then 2) subsequently, pack the volume into the required SKU.In such a scenario, is there a way to ensure that there is full availability of all materials required for producing a specific volume of a product, prior to confirming a Production Order? If yes, how and where can this be implemented/checked? In other words, a Production Order should not be allowed to proceed further (any subsequent steps) if there is either no or not enough material as required to produce a specific volume of the manufactured product.The same applies to the 2nd part above i.e. to again ensure that all packaging material required is available in full quantity during a request for Packaging Materials. Hi all,I’m currently trying to receive the owner data of a shipment using the REST API.The response of GET /entity/Default/24.200.001/Shipment/<ShipmentNbr> contains the contact ID:... "OverrideFreightPrice": { "value": false }, "Owner": { "value": "56" }, "PackageCount": { "value": 4 }...However, I can’t request more information about the contact.The owner of a shipment is an employee. But the REST endpoint /entity/Default/24.200.001/Employee does not contain the ContactID.Is there any other endpoint that can be used?Thanks in advance!

Is there a way to add the date the invoice was paid in a GI with the invoice number and the date the invoice was generated? I am trying to show in the system the average date an invoice it paid in correlation to the customers terms. Are the customers paying late or on time?

Whenever there is more than one tax, the total is not displayed. Please see the screenshots belowAs shown in the image below, when only GST is applied, the total is displayed correctly. Hello, I am building a report to information on Qty needed for WO. Everything looks good when i join inventoryitem and Insitestatus. i wanted to get material uasage from AMMTran. the moment i join that all my totals begins to increase to a high figure that is impossible. 

Can we change the new color-coded statuses for those with color vision deficiency or is this something that would be able to be changed at a later date?

Hello Acumatica Community! We’ve run into a not good experience, issue with the latest Shopify connector for Acumatica (25R1). I’m hoping to get some insights from others who might be experiencing the same or confirm if this is an isolated problem on our end.What we observedBackground: We rely on metafields in Shopify and map another metafield from a Stock Item attribute via the connector.Normal behavior (pre-25R1): If a value existed in Shopify for one metafield, and another metafield was mapped from a Stock Item attribute, the “unmapped” metafield retained its value while the “mapped” metafield was updated as expected. Current issue (25R1): The connector now tries to update each metafield. And if there’s no mapped attribute for a metafield, connector clears it. This results in unintended data loss across the board, not just the mapped fields. Has anyone else experienced metafield data being cleared or reset by the 25R1 Shopify connector?

I am attempting to reprint a check using the same number in 25R1. I follow steps below but it reprints with the next number, not the same. What am I missing?After printing (without releasing), select “Reprint” action on the Release Payments screen, select the payment, and process. Status is changed to Pending Print.  Print / Process the payment again. Next number is assigned instead of the original. If I try to manually change, it errors saying the number already exists. Thanks in advance!

I’ve been working in Acumatica for 2 years now and have really gotten a handle on GIs, Import/Exports, Reports, Business Events, etc. Now I’m working through the T200 pdf training and my lack of web dev experience is making me have to dig far too deep into every code snippet to fully get it. My background is in Panorama Classic (a dead language) and Python, so I understand the basic structures of a language. However, I find myself constantly going, ‘but why?’ in the training in a way that I know means I’m NEARLY there. Do you know any videos or other tutorials that might help me get up to speed on doing my first solo customizations? Do you have advice for getting through these trainings from nearly zero? -- Lunar

Hi community, I am trying to setup a few financial reports to email weekly out of the system, and I know I need to save the template and then schedule the template. The issue I am running into are the financial period parameters. Is there a way to set a template that dynamically pulls in the current financial period so that I can then put that template on a schedule? Otherwise, I don’t see a way around having to create a template for each period which wouldn’t work in the long run. Thank you,RJ

We’ve found a part on Create Purchase Order suggesting a order of 50 parts under IN Replanned. However, this part already has 88 units in stock, and SS is 10 and Reorder point is 20. Why is this part appearing here, and what does IN Replanned even mean?
