I'm trying to create a business event that triggers when a task has been open for more than 2 hours. I created a generic inquiry with the condition to include only tasks where the created date time is less than 2 hours ago. Then I set up the business event to trigger on record change, for each record, with the trigger condition set to "record inserted."However, the business event isn't triggering. Any ideas what might be wrong?!-->

Hello all,Thanks for any advice here. I’m struggling to create an omnibus Financial Reports package that is a standalone Customization Project. I’ve tried a few approaches but I’m not seeing what I want.Starting with the ARM reports:I’ve selected a specific ARM report and exported the XML file from Report Definition. Then I’ve tried both preserving the original code (DBS is shown here) and modifying the XML to have a new code (EG MyOrgDBS). I’m getting the same results though- but open to feedback if that is important or not.Then I take that XML file and add it to the ‘Files’ area of the designated Customization Project. Then, I export that project and import the .ZIP to another instance of Acumatica (same version - 2025R1). The results I’m getting are that I do not see that the ARM file’s Description field is preserved, which makes me think that the ARM report that I am attempting to import (as part of the Customization project ) is being preserved at all. Is there a more appropriate

Hi all,I have an error when processing Mass Email. The first time I clicked Send, it only generated two emails, but the campaign has hundreds of members. I then copied email to create new one. Now I get the error in screenshot below.Details:There is a campaign selected on Campaigns tab.  Both the Campaign and its associated Marketing List have hundreds of members, and all of them have email addresses. Thanks in advance for any help.   

Why is my hyperlink not working after I converted to the modern UI?  

We are trying to do some data clean up and re-order how we build accounts/locations.We had a bunch of child accounts that we consolidated under the parent account as locations.  However, we have found a major productivity hit on updating the sales persons or other data in that Customer screen now.We have one customer that has ~1500 locations and our instance handles it fine.  This latest customer we cleaned up has almost 8000 locations and they imported by scenario into the Location field fine, but the import by scenario for the salespersons will not run through even a partial list.Before we break the customer up by state, are there any suggestions?  Max limits?

In the commerce connector how can I import shopify orders but have them all use the default guest checkout customer nbr?So instead of the customer getting created on import using their first and last name a specific customer account is used instead for all imported shopify web orders.

I can’t figure out why my business event wont trigger…no matter how much i google and click on ‘this is how you set up business events” videos and walk through.  Everything I see online is “set up where you want it to point to, who you want it to email, and when you want it to email” and yet it wont send….

Hello,We’ve created an automation and a business event so that when any Will Call (WC) sales order is ready for pickup, an email is sent to the Ship-To Contact email address. The issue is that our sales reps sometimes leave this field blank.We enter a large number of WC orders on a daily basis, and calling or manually emailing customers is very time-consuming. I’m looking for a way for the system to automatically send the email to the Sales Order contact (or the “Ordered By” contact) if the Ship-To Contact email field is empty. Is there a way to implement this? 

We have an info@ email address that is routed to create cases. That same email also sends our daily invoices to customers. However, when the customer responds to a system email coming from info@ (e.g. invoice email), Acumatica is attaching the reply to the invoice screen and not creating a case.  How do we get the replies to create cases?

Hi everyone,I’m wondering if Acumatica allows assigning a specific “From” email address based on the Order Type.For example: Sales Orders (SO) → send from sales@company.com Quotes (QT) or RMA (RM) orders → send from quote@company.com Is there a way to configure this directly in Email Accounts, Notification Templates, or perhaps through Automation Steps or Business Events?If anyone has implemented this (either through configuration or customization), I’d really appreciate some guidance or examples of how to set it up.Thanks in advance!

I am trying to create a GI to show this years sales data compared to LY sales. Any ideas how to get started with this? I have pulled the data since @yearstart and for where docdate >= @yearstart-1 and docdate<= @yearstart-1. How can I show those on the same line graph? 

How do people deal with the “Total Commitments”, “Open Commitments”, & “Cost to Complete” amounts on the Project Cost Report?  They appear to be values as of the report run date rather than as of the period reported.  This means that if you close your accounting period and start reviewing the report and someone on the construction team enters a new change order, all of these numbers change.  It also means that if you rerun a prior period’s report, all of these numbers might change from what you reported to management, quantity surveyors, banks, investors, etc.  I’m pretty sure the report pulls these amounts from the data behind the project summary screen and I’m not sure how to change the report to build this data as of a reporting period (or what DAC to use).We take a couple of weeks to close our accounting and get our reports finalized, surely we can’t expect our construction teams to not enter any change orders for two weeks every month.  Not to mention that we can never reprodu

Hello -I’ve been using the EasyPost integration for many years without much issue.  Recently, I’ve started receiving emails from EasyPost stating that I need to elect to use either their free account (which does not allow me to use my own FedEx/UPS account #’s) or pay $20/month to continue to be able to use my own courier accounts.A number of years ago, when Acumatica was pushing us from using the native FedEx/UPS integration into EasyPost, they stated that there would be no fees associated with the use of EasyPost in conjunction with Acumatica.The Acumatica marketplace page for EasyPost still states “Create a free account and start shipping with dozens of carriers. No fees on 120,000 packages per year, and your first $500 is on EasyPost.”I’m being told by EasyPost that if I do no enable the $20/mo billing, then my carrier accounts will be disabled until I select an option - which will obviously cause disruption to my business.Can Acumatica provide some clarity to this situation?  Appa

I have begun testing the new functionality that allows us to use an existing GI as the data source for a new GI. It seems very powerful, and will certainly solve a number of reporting challenges, but I’m struggling with the naming scheme a bit.Specifically, in the base GI, I have a number of columns that are formulas. I need to reference those columns in the summary/child GI, but the names are simply the original base table plus a GUID to make them unique:The only method I’ve found for determining which “Formula” is which column is to add each one individually, run the summary/child GI, and use the resulting data to identify the column.Obviously, that is horribly inefficient, and I’d love to know of a better way.Has anyone found a method of mapping these formulas names to the source column/formula in the base GI?

Hello everyone. I need to calculate the value of a field that is not stored in the database. I need to do this every time the BAccount form is opened. What is the best way to do this so that it only happens once when it is opened?

In 2025 R1, Acumatica released electronic payment method to allow for file creation type that used by RBC to pay vendors in the US from a Canadian bank account (like an ACH). Has anyone had any luck setting it up?  When I try to, I am unable to choose the expot method shown in the guide (Page 105 - https://acumatica-builds.s3.amazonaws.com/builds/25.1/ReleaseNotes/AcumaticaERP_2025R1_ReleaseNotes_full.pdf) Guide: Our instance: 

When the order in shopify store has discount it sync successfully but after a minute or two it will add additional discount line that causes this error. We dont have any custom mapping we just using the native connector.   Company - Export onlySales Order is Import onlyThis is b2b and ACUMATICA 2024 R1

Hello Expert, I was looking for PO Approval when Qty or unit cost gets increased then approver will do the approval of PO and if QTY or unit cost is decreased then no approval for that. I have created a sample Approval for the same please let me know if i am going on right path.

Hi,I think I saw something in the Australian MYOB version of Acumatica that kind of does this but I can’t for the life of me see anywhere in the NA version Acumatica version to be able to say that an item has a shelf life of 90 days lets say for example. Is there anything in the system to do that so that expiry date on a lot does not need to be set manually? Andrew

Anybody know  why this parameter would not be showing at all on report screen. I dont have the report fully built yet but the date parameter is showing just fine. I have double checked permissions and that is not a problem.   

On a scheduled basis we need to send reports to each vendor of their open orders and pricing/lead time updates..  Only selected vendors will get the reports and the reports will only have their data.  Is there a simple way to do this with having to create a report template and automation schedule for each vendor?  There are 2 different list of vendors for 2 different reports and each has 60-75 vendors.
