I’m trying to add a field to the ARTran DAC that isn’t stored in the database, and instead calculates a value based on another field in the ARTran DAC.  I’ve found lots of examples online, but they all reference returning True or False, and I think they also are leaving stuff out.  Google AI and ChatGPT are leaving stuff out too, probably because they’re only as smart as their source.What I want to do is add a “Transaction Multiplier” field like what exists in various OE and IN DACs--a value of 1 means that the transaction has a positive effect (like an invoice) and a value of -1 has a negative effect (a credit memo).  In human readable terms, I think my tasks are:Add a non database field to the DAC Add code to tell the system that if ARTran.Trantype = “CRM”, return -1.  Otherwise return 1.  Ideally I’d do this as a Switch in case I have other Trantypes that I need to account for.Focusing on what I know, I added the field to the DAC (using the Data Access section in the customization)

We are setting up our locations in Acumatica, and are using the Avalara address validation tool. When we set up a location, the address and LocationID is the same as we are using in Avalara, yet the “Validated” button within Acumatica is framed in red and unable to be chosen. Has anyone experienced this? If so, and if you know how to repair, I would be grateful.  

I have created a Sales Order and linked all the items in the Sales Order to Create a Purchase Order.Now I have modified the Sales order to add in an additional line. I cannot seem to link it to the existing Purchase Order. Mark for PO is ticked on the SO line. If I use Create Purchase Order it will create an entirely new Purchase Order If I go to the existing Purchase Order, the line type will change to Goods for Inventory instead of Goods for SO which enables me to link back from PO to SO.How do you link the items from the SO to an existing PO? Surely this is a common issue.

Is Acumatica planning to upgrade the Report Designer? I am not a professional, but sometimes the report designer feels worse than Excel, which has more features.In one window, it shows that the expressions you created are valid, but in another window, it shows an error.When you preview, it shows "XML not well-formed," but if you save it to the server and run it from the system, there are no issues.There is no option to preview based on a reference document. It shows some documents randomly, which does not help to find the changes/results. To check, the only option is to save back to the server and test.The formatting features are very limited. Viewing in grid format is possible, but there is no option to zoom in or out.These are just a couple of issues from many.Acumatica overall has many options and features. However, to be honest, when doing quality testing, there are many options whose workflows and explanations are not clear. Even when we try to research it, it is hard to get clear

I’ve installed MYOB Advanced Build 2024.210.100.3447 [24.210.0019] and applied the developer license key successfully. I can see some default screens like Stock Items and Sales Orders, but I’m unable to access screens like:Inventory Preferences Warehouses Shipments InvoicesI have verified access rights (granted full permissions including delete), but the screens still don’t appear.Is there anything else I need to configure after applying the developer license to make all standard screens available?Thanks in advance!

When will the Multiple Base Currency feature support all modules?I was quite excited to see multiple base currency support in 2021 R2, as this solves the single biggest pain point we have with Acumatica.Currently, we have a Canadian sister company that does a lot of interco transactions with the US company, and because of that company’s base currency being in CAD, we have to use a separate tenant.This creates a lot of manual re-entry of documents PO / SO / shipping docs etc and tends to be an error prone process, especially due to exchange rates etc.Now in reading through the details on this feature, I see to my dismay that there is a whole list of other  modules that are not supported by this feature. Meaning you can’t use multiple base currencies feature and these other modules. The modules that we use are in yellow:  Is there any road map on when these modules will be supported by this feature? 

What Sales reporting tool integrates with Acumatica? We are unable to extract effective Sales data for our owner. We need a robust tool to capture the following and more: Sales By: Customer, Customer and $$$, Customer and Product, ytd, ytd vs. last year ptdProduct - units sold, $$$ sold, ytd, ytd vs. last year ptdThank you. 

This issue is similar to this question.  I have a business event which is triggered for certain types of orders.  When triggered, one subscriber takes the sales order data and does an import scenario to add a prepayment and assign it to the sales order.  I can get the prepayment created, but when adding the Sales Order to the prepayment I am getting an error “The system failed to commit the SOAdjustments row.” I know I am close on this - just needs a fresh eye and a tweak and I bet it will be there.  Any thoughts?Thanks!  Patrick

I've overridden the RunCaptureActions method of the ARPaymentAfterProcessingManager and intend to add my own logic, such as FunctionA, before base.RunCaptureActions.FunctionA's logic involves adding a SOLine to the current SOOrder. I also need to modify the Applied To Order and Payment Amount fields under the Payments tab to match the added SOLine. Hello Community, I am working on creating a production order import scenario that links the production order to an existing sales order. I have the production order importing without issue, but no luck on getting the sales order to link. Has anyone got this to work before? Would I be better off linking to the production order from the sales order side? See below for a snippet of my import scenario. Below will import, just not link to any sales orders I have.  

There needs to be a default warehouse that should be set by the user (or the device). While it is possible to have “warehouses inside warehouses”, in many use cases a worker will always be in the same warehouse. So the mobile app should assume that the user’s warehouse is that default warehouse, with the option to override (i.e. item lookup screen….it shoud default to the worker’s warehouse so this doesn’t have to be entered repeatedly.

Is it possible to only sync the on hand inventory from ACU to Shopify without updating any other field in shopify for the sync’ed SKU’s?

I’m 98% sure the answer is no, but looking for any other input from the community…. Client uses FS Appointments for Projects Serial Number of inventory item is allocated/recorded on the FS Appt.  FS Appt. is billed to create Project Transactions IN Issue is then released Reflecting that the serial number has been issued to the project BUT… what if this was incorrect? How can this fixed, if at all? Is it possible to move this issued serialized inventory item from one project to another?I don’t see how this is currently possible. Any thoughts out there?  

Hi! Can you run a different schedule for a different item on that is on the same contract? Without having to create a new deferral code for every new transaction, is it possible to update the deferral schedule if the customer decides to postpone a service for a later date?For example, I can change the Rec. Date in the transaction section, but when clicking on GENERATE TRANSACTIONS, the date goes back to what it was.  Based on testing, answers to both questions would be no, but we would like to confirm there is no other ways. Open to any suggestions, thank you in advance for your help! 

Anyone who encounters the same issue? I have tried resetting the cache and restarting the application through Apply Updates page but still the issue occurs. I have also tried restarting the whole server but still the issue occurs. I encounter this one when I attempted to publish the updated customization. I tried to publish my customization package to another instance and server it push through.
