I am trying to modify AP Balance by Vendor, however, after saving/uploading to the server, it does not reflect on the generated report. no error’s shown.

Hello everybody,I’d like to prevent our users to remove attached files depending on some conditions (for instance, a particular name or comment). To do that, I woud need to disable conditionnaly the “Remove Link” button in the standard “Files” dialog box when a file filling those conditions is selected in the grid of this dialog. Is there any way to do that ?Thx.

I am about 95% sure that this will not work but looking to see if anyone else has a solution.I have client who deals with seeds (such as peas and beans), they send the seeds to a grower who then grows the seed. They are sent on a sales order with item such as 1270. The grower grows the seed and a Purchase Order is created for the seed. The purchase order needs to use a different inventory ID such as 1270-GR. They need a way to account for the seed leaving their warehouse and then bringing it back into stock. The grower is the customer and the vendor. Does anyone have a solution or work around for this?I know also that I could receive as the PO with 1270 then do adjustments and a receipt for 1270-GR but that is going to be extra steps. 

How to make the Subaccount of each line items in Client invoice automatic, based on the Project ID not based on the Customer’s.When I am creating an invoice, then adding a line item in the details tab the sub account auto fills in from the customer’s GL account, so how do I make it autofill from the Project instead of the customer?

Dear all,I meet a strange case.Bill is only 1 or some lines and in On hold status. It takes about 20-30s to open detail. And it’s slow for bills of one Vendor, the others is normal.And Also when release it also takes longer than the othersPlease help! Thanks alot!

We’re working with a consulting to bring Acumatica online at the mid point of a project.  The current task at hand is to entry opening balances for the project.  My original process was going to be to post a single journal entry at the cutover date for the balances per cost code.  The consultant said this should be done as a “project management” transaction rather than as a GL entry.  But, my testing shows that PM transactions don’t flow back to the general ledger.  Consequently I have project reports that don’t agree to my financial reports.  Have I missed a step or has my consultant led me astray?Also, what kind of entries do people originate as Project Transaction?  The entire entry screen made my poor little accountant-heart feel uncomfortable.  It seemed like entries didn’t need to balance and that they could hit mutiple periods.Thanks in advance.

I’m looking for suggestions on best practice and methods for the following. Short Question(s): Is there a way to copy one or more security role settings to another role? Is there a way to compare two roles access settings? Additional context: We have a smaller team that operates the business side of things in our company. Like other small teams, a number of our team members have multiple responsibilities on a day to day basis and therefore their access/security requirement within the system don’t fit within the standard roles provided by Acumatica. I have been shown how I can copy an existing role as the basis of a custom role that I can then modify to meet the role specific requirements. However, I might have a custom role that could require 100% of the base AP Clerk role and 75% of the FA Clerk role. If we have a way to copy the settings of multiple roles to the new custom role, that would be great.Currently, (based on this example) I would copy the AP Clerk role to a new custom role

Hi team, I hope everyone is doing well, I would like to know if there is a way to customize a custom entity created in an Acumatica Instance through REST API.Please see an example below of the Entity I created, As you can see, this is a Custom Entity with a custom name and is basically a summary from different tables. I use this table to create a Generic Inquiry for other reports but, the Fields Forecast should come from a third party software that I have.   I tried to create a Custom Endpoint but I didn’t know how to link this table to an screen or how to map the fields from the entry. If you can help me with some links or something I can refer to know how to solve question.  Thank you so much in advance!

Hi All,Using the lot/serial attribute customization from GitHub:I have a scenario where on Production Orders and the Move transaction, the attributes are filled in for the lot. However, it does not carry back over to the Item Lot/Serial #Info. Does anyone have a solution or ran into something similar? Thanks!

Hi Experts,I added a UDF “selected” in the package line as below, so that I can select the packages I want. I also enable this UDF in the code and disable others in the workflow.If I just publish my project, it works well. But if another customization project which extends the shipment screen is published, all the fields in the package can be edited. I’m looking for another way to fix this problem. Do you have any idea? Thanks,Frank

Hi,I have a probably stupid and basic question about how events are handled in Acumatica.Let’s suppose we have a graph class (say G1) using a given DAC (say D) in its main view, and an other graph class (say G2) using also DAC D in its main view. In this example, we assume that G1 and G2 haven’t any link them (I mean that G1 is not an extension of G2 for instance).If a change occurs for one of the field in an instance of DAC D throught the screen associated to graph G1, the D_RowUpdated event handler method is called as expected if this method has been added in class G1. That’s OK.However, I have noticed that if the D_RowUpdated event handler is also present in class G2, it is not called on field change occuring in G1, as if G2 would not be aware of what’s happening in G1. Maybe it is due to the fact that the two graphs don’t share the same caches.How to refresh views in G2 on row updating occuring in G1 ?

What is the best way to get a list of all the lines where the LINE TYPE = Inventory Item and the Estimated Quantity is not equal (<>) to the Estimated Quantity as below? This was an example where 2 grinders should have been taken our of stock but only 1 was, I need to know how many other lines are affected in the same way. I will then have to compare this to the appointment notes and the actual quantity billed. From what I can gather it will bill the actual quantity.

I currently run a WordPress website that uses Acumatica. Acumatica is installed as a plugin within the theme built by the original developers. Right now, I have a staging site setup, along with a sandbox environment on Acumatica.For example, my staging site isstaging.website.comMy sandbox environment for Acumatica is:website-sandbox-22-2.acumatica.com/(w(2))/ Basically, what I’m looking to do is test buying a product on the staging site to which it then generates a order in the sandbox version of Acumatica. As mentioned, Acumatica is coded within the plugin used to create the site’s functionality, so on Wordpress, in order to add the Sandbox site value to the list of Data Sources, I had to add a string within the Acumatica.php file along with the ACF_AcumaticaOptions.php file, but that is only adding a string so that I can choose the data source in the Wordpress admin dashboard. I also changed the base url to the link of the Acumatica sandbox, but I feel like that is incorrect.How can

Hi everyone, Is there a way to capture all the rates given when you click “Shop for Rates” on the Shipping screen? I would like a way to show what our freight cost is, but also how much we save by choosing one carrier over the other for each shipment. If we shop for rates and click the lowest one, do the other rates just go away or are they stored somewhere? Thanks!
