We have a client that has been stopped from closing multiple periods due to the Inventory workspace refusing to close.  There are no unreleased documents. All other modules close.  Accounts have been validated/recalculated in both Inventory and Finance. The dates and financial periods for Production Orders have all been forwarded to the next period so that they will not interfere with the close. Any ideas what could be stopping it?  

Hello I’m curious how you change the “reset to default menu settings”.  We would like all users to start with a common view then customize from there.  Another way would be to share the menu configuration settings?  This would allow us to establish what is visible in the show all and show less categories.  Thanks.

On a number of our clients’ Shopify stores, we can’t access Acumatica App, getting this error: This happens in Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and Safari.  Tried on Windows and MacOS.Any thoughts, @KarthikGajendran , @smarenich ?Thank you!

Good morning Acumatica community! We are a very small business on the Acumatica scale so have to weigh cost at a premium. Our business has a large number of stock items that we work with (approximately 7k). While making adjustments to initial configurations, we are burning through a significant portion of our allocated ERP transactions each month and are currently at 90% for October.If we don’t upgrade to a higher tier but use more ERP transactions than our license covers, will we be charged after the fact? And if so, would it be cheaper for us to upgrade ahead of time knowing we will need the increase for two months only? Thank you,Julia

Default length for value field is 255 in CSANSWERS table. We are getting cast error after we extend DAC to 500. Since the field is shared with different control types. So what could I do to extent the field length to allow longer text for Text type attribute? Thanks.

Hi all,Previously I have asked a similar question on this. In DataSource of the page in Customization Project Editor, setting the PageLoadBehavior to ‘GoLastRecord’ solved this issue only when using Web Application.But when we use mobile application it is still showing the list of records instead of last record.Is there any way to add this behavior to Mobile application as well? Thanks

Hi all!My accounting team is curious where the Check Description on Batch Payments comes from.Some checks will have a generic ‘Payment for ‘VendorID’’.Others will have an actual description (seems to happen if there’s only one bill with that description on the check).Still others will be completely blank.Ideally, they would like every description to be ‘Payment for ‘VendorName’’, but until I can find how that description is being set up in the first place, I’m not sure what to do.Does anyone have an idea where how the check description on Batch Payments is being populated? 

I will need to do this in four different Graphs, but let’s start with the most common one: Sales Orders.When entering an InvertoryID in Sales Order Detail (SOLine) Acumatica does a search inside VendorID --using the InventoryCD as well as Inventory Description-- as they enter the item: My customer has two more fields they would like to also search on. Hi everyoneOur custom invoice report  has started generating with duplicate line items for certain customers. The problem begins with a customer for no apparent reason, and then remains consistent for that customer. The duplication does not affect calculations, it simply appears on the report.I have read about similar issues reported in other topics that refer to incorrect or missing joins/relations in the schema. However it seems like each case is slightly different and their solutions do not apply to our case. I have picked the report apart and can’ t seem to find the problem, although I suspect it has to do with ARTran : SOOrder. Hi All,We would like to have a report similar to “Transactions for Period”, but for each transaction under each account, is there any way to show the “opposite account”?For example, here’s an entry that has been recorded.Debit:       4600 Administration Expenses                          600 USD          Credit:       1005 Citi USD Bank Account                                600 USD For this transaction under “1005 Citi USD Bank Account”, we’d like another column showing that the opposite account is “4600 Administration Expenses”. Same for the transaction under “4600 Administration Expenses”.Is there any way to achieve that? Thanks!

Hello,         In order to dipslay both English and Chinese to customers on invoice, we put English and Chinese characters together on Item Description field like below:      Beef  牛肉       However, the space between them is not good enough for us to trim Chinese (Some customer does not read Chinese, it is not necessary).  So we want to put “//” between “beef ”and “牛肉”.        If there a quicker way to find out all item already with Chinese characters in Description?

Hi, I am trying to pull the Sales Order number onto the Purchase Order Form (PO641000) for Drop Ship SO’s & Purchase Orders. I can’t find the tables to link to from the PO Line to get the Sales Order#.In the SO I can click on the PO LinkOn the PO I can click on the View SO Demand. Can anyone point me in the right direction for this?Thanks Bill

Hi, I’m wondering on how to take out duplicate pages in Report Designer. Like for example in Acumatica it would duplicate the pages in the report. In total it’s 13 pages but 26 comes out. When I put it in PDF the pages would duplicate over four times. I don’t know how to fix this issue.  

HI All,I am wondering is it possible to add email signature to the mail setting in Report Designer. Currently the email signature on the User Profile no longer automatically applied to the invoice when I am sending it via Invoice screen AR641000. It is only showing the text I have setup in Report Designer. Email signature only works If I use the Print Form screen and generate the invoice then send on that screen, which is strange as that screen would have been the same as the invoice card. I would want to avoid using email Template in Acumatica because I am not familiar with where to find the information. Kind regards,Calvin

I have a GI with INTran records. I don’t want the GI to include any records where the BuildingID of the SiteID is the same is BuildingID of the ToSiteID. Can I create a condition that will do that?

i am trying to add a filter in a GI,  Something is wrong with the filter related to the date.  It is returning 0 records.  If i remove the date filter it returns all records just fine.    What i really want it to do is to filter by current year.  Something related to the syntax in the date value?   

A supplier have some outstanding invoices. They can be show in the “AP Aging” report. However, nothing show up in “Documents to Pay” when I try to arrange payment under “Prepare Payments”.
