Why do I have full access to the Customization Project screen but still cannot use the Add and Delete buttons, even though I am able to edit existing elements?

Good day CommunityI have created an ARM report which has PTD and YTD values on the same report but for some reason it is only displaying YTD in all columns and I can’t see the problem.PTD has Turnover as the Amount Type in the Data Source and YTD has Ending Balance, yet the amounts displayed are the same. Obviously the Subaccount is the same.Can someone please advise what I have missedMany thanks in advnce.

I’m trying to create a Generic Inquiry table that has all the inventory balance by location and serial number. There’s been several different tables presented on this site that can get qty by location (attached below) however, whenever I add Serial Number to them, the serial number gets attached to everything of the same part, producing duplicate results (and grouping isn’t smart enough to match deal with that). Is there a way to get the serial number to link only to the qty it belongs to?

Hello,       Our company has some vendors that we do NOT want the sales team to know about. So we’ve set up restriction groups: only buyers can view these vendors, while certain sales personnel cannot.     However, when sales staff enter sales order with items purchased from these vendors into the system, an error pops up indicating they do not have access rights to the preferred vendors for those items.I currently have a workaround: I don’t set default preferred vendors for these items. But is there a better way to achieve both of the following?The vendors remain restricted (only accessible to buyers); Sales staff can enter sales order with the items correctly without errors.

Hi all,We recently upgraded from Acumatica 2024 R1 to 2025 R1 and noticed that whenever a new case is created, an additional activity entry is automatically generated:Type: System MessageSubject: Case created in ERPWe haven’t been able to identify any functional value for this entry—it simply logs that the case was created. However, it is creating extra activity records that are triggering unintended side effects, particularly with Business Events that rely on the CRPMSMEmail DAC (e.g., when monitoring case-related messages).We’ve looked through different settings screens but haven’t found a way to disable this “Case created in ERP” message.Has anyone found a way to disable or suppress this automatic activity entry in 2025 R1?Or alternatively, is there documentation explaining its purpose or how it ties into the case workflow?Thanks,Dave

hello all, i have been trying to clock in on the Project tasks (PM302000) screen, but it still says : the user that i have logged has a linked employee record, have also setup the Default time log type under preferences, the project & the Project tasks both are activated, but still throws this message. is there something I’m missing in here?

Hi All, i have just started processing accounts payable payment runs using ABA files exported from MYOB acumatica payables module. The payment batch balances in MYOB, however, when i try to process in CommBiz our own bank details are missing from the ABA file. The bank details of the suppliers we are paying are correct, its just our bank account details that are missing from the ABA file (thus it doesn’t balance and CommBiz won’t process it). We have managed to edit the batch in CommBiz but i would like to fix the issue before it gets to CommBiz. Thanks in advance. 

Hello AllI am trying to create an approval map for expense claims that will require multi user approval.The flows are as below:Aprrovals for $20,000 limit - I have a workgroup assgined to this as it only requires one approver. Approvals for $20,000 - $50,000 limit - there is also a workgroup assigned to this as well as only one approver is required. Approvals greater than $50,000 - this is where the multi user approval is required. There are five (5) users who can approve these claims, however, they require a combination of any pair to approve i.e.: (user 1 and user 2), (user 1 and user 3), (user 1 and user 4), (user 1 and user 5), (user 2 and user 3), (user 2 and user 4), (user 2 and user 5), (user 3 and user 4), (user 3 and user 5), (user 4 and 5) at any time.I’m trying to figure out how I can get this to work. Good morning everyone. I am trying to create a new bom with a business event using a GI and an import scenario on a schedule. I am getting the error “The last error was Cannot generate the next number for the BOM sequence.”. To diagnose it easier, I exported the GI to excel and made a data provider, new import scenario, and used import by scenario to upload. i used the community post below to find a solution that worked. This post used option 1 in the below screenshot. It worked fine and created a new bom with the next autonumber with everything correct on it. I then made the change to the business event subscriber import scenario and I got the “cannot generate next number” error. I then tried option 2 below and the business event history shows that it ran successfully with no errors but it didnt actually create the bom. I saw another post where someone could only get the header to get created and had to add materials later so I tried making the GI as simple as possible and use only th

Is it possible to change the transaction description that is automatically generated by intercompany transactions?Currently the transaction description is “Balancing entry for: BRANCH” but the branch is the same branch that the transaction posts to.  It would be more helpful to people reviewing the general ledger transactions to know what branch that the balancing entry was from.  These two descriptions should be swapped to be useful:It is not helpful to see PRODWHOLE has a transaction that is a balancing entry for PRODWHOLE.  It would be more useful to the person reviewing the transaction to know that the branch PRODWHOLE has a balancing entry that came from PRODRETAIL. This issue is sort of related to these:Change the transaction description of invoices created with multiple installment credit terms (Build 2024.2) | CommunityPosting meaningful description for journal entries | CommunityDoes anyone have the code to update the Intercompany transactions? 

Hi, client has several Operation .Is there a way to restrict certain users from entering a Move trx for certain Operations or Workcenters? I tried RowData Security, no option for WorkCenters;  but I tried to use the Warehouse linked to the WorkCenter;  but it did not work. Business Case.  Op worker entering movement for the WC he is working and not a different workcenter.ie,  Assembly vs Packing vs Quality Control.

We are a retail business using Acumatica in UK and currently have the Stripe integration switched on and working to accept payments in Acumatica, to do this we can manually type the card details into Acumatica & then the payment detail is sent to Stripe via the OOTB integration to authorise / take payment. We would like to be able to use card terminals within our showrooms so customers can insert their card into the terminal to pay but are struggling to work out what we need to do / what integration is required to allow the payment detail to get to the card terminal, the card terminal sorts the payment and then updates Acumatica when the payment has went through. Is anyone else using Stripe card readers with Acumatica and if so what extra steps / integration are you using to get it working?

We offer installation, removal and storage services to our customers. When we sell a project, the stock item is on the sales order and “Shipped” once it has been installed. We are able to track that inventory up until this point. Then the product gets removed and stored in our warehouse, but we do not have a way of tracking it since it is now customer - owned product and not our own inventory. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to go about this?

Hi, I’m setting up a automation schedule for recalculate customer balances. I have about 1000 customers, but the schedule only run for two customers all the time. I have tried the same schedule setup in a local environment which runs for all customers without any issues. Below is the schedule I have added. I had tried not activating the EI taxes on the Employee Payroll Settings but get an error when calculating the paycheck.  How do I set up this employee so EI insurable earnings & premiums are not calculated for this employee and that their T4 will show that they are EI exempt?

This is happening on a client and I cannot find the reason why the generated cost transaction has a different branch to the labour transaction, so it is causing incorrect GL entries.The data is all entered on the correct branch, so any ideas why the system generated cost transaction would have another branch to the source?

I’ve setup up purchase order appovals with email notifications, but I’m only able to send the notification to the purchase order owner using ((Document.OwnerID.EMail));. I’m trying to use ((Approval.ApprovedByID.EMail)); to send the notification to the approver, but the ((Approval.ApprovedByID.EMail)) value is returning an empty string. What is the correct value to use to send the notification to the assigned approver for the purchase order. I’m not using approval workgroups, just a single defined approver. This is on version 2024 R2.

Hello, our business has a requirement to upload the Scanned printed copies of Sales Order to Acumatica that is completed and highlighted with picking & packing information by warehouse employees. Currently, we bulk upload the copies in OneDrive, but we want a solution where the scanned copies lies next to the respective Sales Order in the Acumatica screen. The scanned copies can have a different tab or can be uploaded in the activities tab. This definetly requires customisation, our acumatica team is novice and has very little experience with this software. Has anyone in the community established this type of system, if so, then please do share the feedback and the steps of implementation.Thank you  

Many of our customers have the Amount field on their AP Bill entry screen, like this: On my instance this field is not showing up.  I’m trying to debug why things aren’t matching up and need to get this to display on my test server.  Any advice would be GREATLY appreciated.I’ve looked in Enable/Disable Features, and didn’t see anything.I have generally only worked with the API directly, and am not very familiar with the UI customization. 

Using the ARM report for the Balance Sheet - I am having trouble with the turnover formula. I have a consolidated column and a Prior Year column but my turnover Consolidated- Prior Year is not calculating correctly. Any insight would be appreciated.  

When trying to create return labels via “use customer account”, I receive error: “UPS: 121526 The payment method specified for Transportation charges is invalid for return service.” Any solution on how to solve this?
